"It was nothing." Keith scratched his head. Anyone would have done the same thing.
Lionel insisted, "But you should be more careful when you do things like that,"
"I know. Also, Grandpa. Sorry about using your name at the guards." Keith had used Lionel's name to help the captives.
But Lionel shook his head, "It's fine."
"Master, dinner is prepared," The butler entered. Like that, the butlers and maids brought the dishes to the table.
Keith smiled, "It looks delicious,"
"Thank you. The head chef asked whether or not you could give your feedback on his dishes,"
"Sure," Whenever he came here, he would help the head chef with his dishes.
Camelia smiled, "Thank goodness you placed a White Owl merchant shop in the royal capital."
"I knew Grandma and Grandpa would want butter and sugar," Besides a White Forest bakery set up in the royal capital, a White Owl merchant shop was built.
"Grandpa, Grandma, can you tell me what the tests are?" Keith questioned. He wanted to figure out what they were.
Lionel sighed, "We don't know,"
"Eh?"
"The enrollment test changes every year. There's no way of knowing what the tests are,"
"I see," Keith thought hard about this. What is Grandpa Cadmus planning?
Camelia assured Keith, "Keith, you don't have to worry about the test too much. Knowing how much the principal wants you to join the academy, there's no need to be nervous." Cadmus had been talking about it for years. He wanted Keith to join the academy so badly.
There was no way he would make a test Keith wouldn't pass.
"You're right," Keith laughed when he heard that. Cadmus had been bothering him about it.
...
The next day, Keith got up early. He was dressed up and was ready to go. Lionel and Camelia were standing outside,
"Remember to be safe out there,"
"Understood, Grandma." Keith nodded.
"Do you have enough coins?"
"Mmhmm! I have more than enough coins," Keith laughed. There was no need to worry about coins now. Lionel stated,
"Be prepared for everyone that comes your way."
"Understood!"
"Keith, can I really not come with you?" Fira pouted. That was because Aria and she would stay home with Camelia and Lionel.
"Sorry. But you can't come with me." Keith had decided to have the two stay behind, "This test will be focused on me. Also, it would be pretty overkill to have the two of you with me."
If he had Aria with him during the test, clearing the test would be a breeze.
"Alright," Fira pouted.
"I made some cookies," Keith took out a jar. That caused her expression to go a 180!
"And Mir is here to play with you as well," Keith summoned Mir again. He knew Fira was going to be lonely. Having Mir here would be great.
"Po!" Mir jumped at Fira, licking her face.
"Hey! Too much drool!" Fira laughed as she tried to stop the licking.
"Also, can you help Grandma with her vegetables? I want her to eat the vegetables you've grown."
"Please help me, Fira," Camelia grasped the little spirit's hands. She wanted to make a garden. But it wasn't working at all.
Without a spirit, the vegetables wouldn't grow properly.
"Sure! I will help you!" Fira's expression brightened up,
"Behave yourself. Don't make the garden into a forest," Keith chuckled. The first time he made it, the garden was a forest! That memory alone caused him to laugh.
Keith turned to Aria, "Take care of the two of them for me,"
"Ho," Aria nodded as she nudged his face,
"Don't worry, I will be careful," This would be the first time Keith would be away from Aria. But he knew he would be okay. With all the training he received, there was no need to fret.
"I'm going to go now!" Keith waved his hand as he started to walk away. He headed toward the teleportation gate. He saw Gabriel standing there.
"Gabriel, sorry for being late," Keith waved his hand. Gabriel smiled, "It's fine. I got up early a long time ago,"
"Huh? Why?"
"I heard you have to wake up early to get bread from the bakery,"
"...I see," Long lines were a usual scene. Keith questioned, "Did you get any bread?"
"I didn't," Gabriel scratched his head. Even when he lined up, he still couldn't get any bread.
"Here," Keith didn't wait as he took out some bread.
"You got some?"
"Of course," Keith smiled as he bit into an apple jam bread. Of course, he would have some. He was the boss of the bakery!
"Now, let's go to the academy."
"Mmhmm," Gabriel nodded, and the two walked over to the teleportation gate. The two were handed some coins as they entered the gate.
