Once they had finished their lunch, the elders sat together again and continued to chat. Lu Jiang finally warmed up Song Chen and began to talk a little more.

Song Chen frowned, not expecting that his wife would bring out the matter about the wedding so soon. He recalled that his wife had told him to behave and decided that it was best if he did not say anything.

Ye Ling Feng laughed softly, noticing that everyone was looking at her. "Actually, when Xing Xing's grandfather heard about their plan to get married, he had already consulted the calendar and chosen a few suitable dates." She waved her hand and an auntie walked over to hand her phone.

"This..." Zhen Wen Yu was a little hesitant. She had come to visit Song Xing Xing's parents planning to pledge for her son. She had not thought that they were going to discuss the wedding. "Don't you think it's too early?"

Lu Xun frowned at his mother. He obviously did not think that it was too early. If he could give Xing Xing a big wedding she deserved to have right here, right now, he would.

"Moreover, Lu Xun had taken a few days off to visit this time. I'm sure that he would be busy with work once the kids returned to Capital City."

Lu Xun stayed silent. He was someone who could take a few days off whenever he wanted to. If his mother-in-law wanted to discuss their wedding, he could push everything to his employees and come over.

"According to Xing Xing's grandfather, there are a few suitable dates for the kids," Ye Ling Feng said. "The earliest would be in a month. But, I think it was too early. We would not have enough time to prepare for the wedding."

Zhen Wen Yu looked at the dates that Ye Ling Feng showed to her and agreed. It was indeed too soon. She recalled that her husband seem to have an important meeting around that date as well.

"Then, there's another suitable date in early November," Ye Ling Feng continued. "I think this date is pretty good, but if that doesn't work as well, we can wait until next year."

Zhen Wen Yu continued to look at a few dates that Ye Ling Feng had marked as the suitable dates for the kids' wedding. "I think November is good. At this time, my husband would not be that busy too."

Ye Ling Feng laughed happily. "I'm glad you think so too." She looked up and turned to look at her daughter. "Xing Xing, Lu Xun, what do you think? After all, this is related to both of you. Why don't you tell us what you think?"

"Ah?" Song Xing Xing jolted when her mother suddenly called her name. She turned to Lu Xun and saw that the man was looking at her as well.

Her heartbeat accelerated.

Like Zhen Wen Yu, Song Xing Xing also did not think that they would be discussing their wedding at this time. Her mother did not say anything or give them any warning!

Lu Xun stretched his hand and held Song Xing Xing's hand at his side. "I think that this date is good as well. It was not too early or too late. But I think it's better to let you guys decide. If you think it's suitable, then, let's just go with it."

A bright smile appeared on Ye Ling Feng's face. "Then, it's decided. We'll go with November."

Lu Xun felt as if something was blooming inside him. There were three months left for him to prepare everything for their wedding.

When he looked up, the others were discussing the venue. Song Xing Xing considered that she had a lot of family members in Y City and thought that it would be better to have their wedding in her hometown.

Lu Xun recalled that Zhang Yu Han had promised to sponsor this wedding and thought that he should give his friend a call and discuss it with him.
