Shadow: Little Star, thank you for worrying about me.

Not Your Little Star: It's good to hear that you are not affected by what was going on. I thought that you have quit the game for good. If you quit, then I have to worry about finding another player to team up with me to battle in the team arena.

Shadow: It turns out that you were actually worried about your ranking in the arena.

Song Xing Xing laughed when she read his reply.

Not Your Little Star: Will everything be alright on your part?

Shadow: You don't have to worry about this. The game developers had already contacted me about this and assured me that my privacy would be protected. I can just play games as usual. Besides, I would not be having any interaction with Huo Yun Chen outside the game. His fans or haters could not do anything to me.

The two of them joked for a while before Shadow logged out. Song Xing Xing went around the city to trigger a few daily missions and then, went into the swamp to fight some monsters.

The corner of her lips turned up when she saw that she had leveled up.

Just in time, Lu Xun entered the door with a few bags in his hand.

Song Xing Xing tossed her phone on the sofa and went over to her fiance. Because he had a few bags of food in his hand, Song Xing Xing did not try to pounce on him as she would often do.

Standing on tiptoed, Song Xing Xing pressed her lips against his into a deep kiss.

Lu Xun closed the door behind him with one hand. Then, his hand moved to hold her waist as he reciprocate her kisses.

The room was suddenly filled with an ambiguous mood.

If he was not holding a few bags of food, Lu Xun really wanted to drop them on the floor and press his body on a certain someone.

Their kisses broke away after a while.

Song Xing Xing looked at Lu Xun and laughed upon noticing the flustered look on his face. "I thought you said you were going to order some takeaway?"

"The restaurant was a little far away."

Song Xing Xing lowered her head to look at the bag in his hand. Instantly, a delicious smell of food wafted in the air, making Song Xing Xing's stomach grumble in hunger.

Seeing the logo on the bags, Song Xing Xing finally understood why he had to go out.

The restaurant where Lu Xun had gone to was located nearby her apartment. It was on the other side of the city and they would not deliver to this area.

Her nose picked up the smell of that restaurant's Szechuan Shrimp that she liked. All of the sudden, Song Xing Xing felt sweet all over. This man pampered her too much. After staying in C County for days, Song Xing Xing was missing her favorite foods and restaurants.

Lu Xun noticed the way her eyes sparkled and knew that she had already guessed what he had bought for her. He stretched his hand and ruffled her hair. "Let's go and eat first."

The two of them entered the kitchen and Song Xing Xing took out a few bowls and plates to put the dishes that he had bought.

Song Xing Xing found a container of diced roasted chicken breast and thought that it was a little strange.

"I bought this as a treat for Mr. Fluffball," Lu Xun explained. "He can eat this, right?"

The corner of her lips twitched. It turned out that he had bought something for Mr. Fluffball as well.

This fat grey cat was really blessed to have Lu Xun pampering him this much.

As if knowing that his papa was thinking about him, Mr. Fluffball ran over and rubbed his body all over Lu Xun's legs.

Lu Xun took a piece of the diced chicken breast and fed it to the cat. Seeing that Mr. Fluffball was eating the chicken happily, Lu Xun put a few more into his bowl.

"Alright, you can only have a little bit," Lu Xun said as he patted the cat on his head. "It's not good if you eat too much. Be careful, you might gain some weight. Xing Xing already said that you need to keep fit for your health."

Mr. Fluffball meowed, protesting to say that he was not fat before he continued to eat his food happily. Since his papa had given him some treats, Mr. Fluffball decided to forgive Lu Xun for mentioning his weight.

Lu Xun washed his hand and sat around the dining table.

As they began to eat their food, Song Xing Xing recalled that it would be her mother's birthday soon and spoke, "I'm planning to head to Y City early next month for my mom's birthday. President Lu, please talk to Producer Ming and let him approve my vacation."

Lu Xun chuckled upon hearing her words. "I'll let him approve your vacation in one condition."

Song Xing Xing raised a brow.

"You have to take me along."

Song Xing Xing laughed. A thought came to her mind and a sigh escaped her. "I hope that the others would not mind that I've been taking a few days off again."

"They wouldn't mind. The post-production team would not be that busy until the shooting ends."

The company had given each employee off days. It was up to them when or how they were going to spend them. 

Song Xing Xing nodded. She took another bite at her food and leaned over. "A lot of relatives will be around during my mother's birthday. Are you sure you are ready to meet them?"

A warm smile curled on his lips. This was actually the reason why he had to attend his mother-in-law's birthday. Lu Xun wanted to see her family members and let more people know that they are together.

Moreover, his relationship with his mother-in-law was getting better. Of course, he will not miss attending her birthday celebration.

Lu Xun was aware that he still need to work hard to win his in-law's heart. After all, his parents will be coming to discuss their marriage soon. He needed to let this meeting go smoothly.

"I'm fine with it," Lu Xun said. "Anyway, I have already met a few of your relatives during your grandfather's birthday the last time."

"That's true. But this time, you're going to show up as my fiance."

"Mhm..."

Song Xing Xing laughed upon noticing the smile on his face. It was not hard to guess that this man was happy that he was going to be introduced as her fiance to her family member.

Lu Xun is just too cute.
