You're My Only Star

On the last day of their stay in C Country, the Lu family members gathered once again in the house. Zhen Wen Yu cooked a few dishes and decided to let Song Xing Xing try a few of C County's dishes.

Jia Xuan continued to stick close to Song Xing Xing, wanting her to help him to defeat some monsters and level up. The boy was jealous when he saw that his uncle's level almost catch up to him.

Before they leave, Lu Xun's parents had already made their plans with the couple to head over to Y City to meet Song Xing Xing's parents and discuss the wedding.

The first thing they do after they arrived in Capital City was to pick up Mr. Fluffball from the pet's hotel. The moment the grey cat saw the two of them, Mr. Fluffball pretended that he did not know them.

These humans went away to have fun for days and left him. Mr. Fluffball was upset. Especially since he met a few male cats who wanted to bully him. He was always the domineering one. Mr. Fluffball did not like it when there were a few cats who tried to fight with him.

Song Xing Xing found it strange when Mr. Fluffball did not go over to greet Lu Xun as he would often do. Thinking that the cat was probably sick made her worry.

"Miss Song, you don't have to worry. Mr. Fluffball is very healthy," the handsome veterinarian spoke. "I think he's a little bit upset that you have left him here for a few days. He misses you too much."

Mr. Fluffball glanced at the veterinarian and meowed.

"But perhaps, it would be a good thing if you spent a few more times with Mr. Fluffball. I think it will improve his mood," the veterinarian suggested.

Seeing that the cat was healthy, Song Xing Xing finally let out a breath in relief. She scratched the cat behind his ear and tried to coax him. "Mr. Fluffball, sorry. I'll give you your favorite wet food after this, alright?"

The cat blinked. "Meow."

After paying for Mr. Fluffball's hotel stay, Song Xing Xing placed him into his carrier and finally bought the cat home.

When they arrived, Mr. Fluffball was still in a bad mood. Even his usual wet food was not able to cheer him up. The toys that Lu Xun bought did not interest him either.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lu Xun asked. He gave her a patted the space beside him, gesturing her to sit down.

"Mr. Fluffball seemed to be dependant on you."

Anyway, there was no way that she would mention imagining their future kids. It will only provoke him to bully her.

Lu Xun laughed when he heard her comments. He pulled her into his arms and let her lay in his embrace. "Then, should we get a female cat to accompany him?"

Mr. Fluffball did not raise his head and continued to purr lowly as he rest on Lu Xun's lap.

Song Xing Xing waved her hand. "Forget it. There are a lot of things to consider before we get another cat. Besides, what am I going to do if both cats get attached to you."

The thought that his fiance would be jealous of her cat made it sound ridiculous. Lu Xun quickly dispel that thought and pecked on her forehead. "You should be tired after a long flight. Rest first. Later, we'll just order something for dinner. What do you want to eat?"

Because she was too tired after the long flight, Song Xing Xing eventually fell asleep in Lu Xun's arms.

When she woke up again, she was already in their bedroom. On the bedside table, there was a note from Lu Xun, telling her that he went out to get their dinner.

Lu Xun should be the one who carried her upstairs.
