Song Xing Xing did not answer his question but instead, walked over to his desk to peck on his cheek. "How did you know that I was waiting for you downstairs?"

Lu Xun did not give his immediate answer and instead continued to watch the girl. After staring for a while, he looked away and spoke, "I let the security team remember your face. When you appear at the company, they will immediately notify me."

"Does this mean that I can't come over and surprise you?" 

Lu Xun lowered his gaze and looked at the girl's paw, scratching the back of his hand. 

It was clear that the girl was trying to coax him.

He moved quickly and with a gentle tug, the girl was in his arms. Their forehead rested on each other and Lu Xun stared into her eyes.

"Are you trying to change the subject?"

Her head tilted to one side. "What changing the subject." Song Xing Xing flashed him an innocent smile. A giggle escaped her as she saw his pretty eyes, narrowing at her. "Qiu Yang? Didn't he come to discuss some business with you?"

"I heard that before Assistant Bei Yuan showed up, the two of you had a friendly chat."

"Un." Song Xing Xing nodded. "His sister, Qiu Ling Yi, and I went to the same school. It would be rude if I did not exchange a few words with him." 

His lips pursed into a thin line. He was not satisfied with her explanation.

He also knew that he could not be unreasonable and prevented the girl from socializing, Qiu Yang turned out to be a friend from the same city. It would be unreasonable if she did not greet him. After all, she is someone from the Song family.

It was just that... with his previous experience, Lu Xun could not help but overthink.

He was even considering declining the collaboration between NEXT Group and Qiu Yang's company.

Fortunately, Lu Xun was unaware that Qiu Yang had tried to hit on his Xing Xing.

Seeing that his expression remained unhappy, Song Xing Xing leaned over to kiss his lips a few times before she pulled away. "Didn't you agree to come and have dinner at my cousin's place? If you're done with your work, we should go over quickly."

Lu Xun heaved a sigh, knowing that this was not the time to get jealous. When the girl leaned over to pepper him with a few more kisses, the unhappiness gradually disappeared.

The couple hugged for a while. By the time they leave the office, Lu Xun had already forgotten about his unhappiness.

After a half an hour drive, the couple arrived at the Song's household. When they arrived, it was Song Yi who showed up at the door.

Song Xing Xing greeted her cousin brother before she went into the house to look for Han Yue Xiu and Xiao Jun.

Meanwhile, Lu Xun was held at the door and was denied his entrance.

Song Xing Xing had thought that Song Yi had stopped Lu Xun to discuss some business and naturally did not pay much attention to them.

Lu Xun gave Song Yi a puzzled look. A while ago, their relationship was still very good. Lu Xun could not remember if he had somehow offended Song Yi.

He let out a cough and said, "Song Yi, is there something you wanted to talk to me about?"

There was a long silence between them before Song Yi finally spoke, "You should know that Xing Xing always addressed me as her cousin brother." 

Lu Xun braced himself and wondered if Song Yi was going to cause trouble for him. The last time, didn't Song Yi had approved of his relationship with his Xing Xing? 

"Shouldn't you address me as brother-in-law?"

Lu Xun stared back at Song Yi speechlessly. 

The corner of Song Yi's lips tilted up slightly. "I was joking with you. Lu Xun, come in."

Lu Xun thought that Song Yi's face was a little too stiff and serious. After a brief hesitation, he called, "Brother-in-law."

His movement halted. Song Yi looked at Lu Xun for a long time, suppressing the word he wanted to say. 

Although he was the one who asked Lu Xun to call him 'brother-in-law', now that Song Yi heard this call, he could not help but feel uncomfortable.

In the end, Song Yi did not say a word and instead, turned around and entered the house.

Lu Xun followed him closely. The two of them headed to the dining area where Song Xing Xing was playing around with baby Xiao Jun. A warm feeling surrounded him as he watched his girl playing with the baby. 

He had always known that Song Xing Xing was good with kids. There was something about her that made kids feel at ease around her. 

This was probably why Zhang Yu Han's daughter, Zhang Li Xue was very close to her as well. Moreover, Lu Xun had also heard how his nephew, Jia Xuan had immediately clicked with Song Xing Xing the first time they met.

Lu Xun was suddenly looking forward to seeing to have a child between them. He hoped that their child would be as adorable as his Xing Xing.

However, it was probably best to have a child later. Lu Xun still wanted to spend a lot more time with Xing Xing.

It has been a while since the last time Xiao Jun saw this aunt. Previously, Song Xing Xing would often play with him and spoil him. Now that Song Xing Xing was carrying him in her arms, Xiao Jun did not have the intention to let her go.

The baby gripped his small fit on Song Xing Xing's shirt. He looked straight at this aunt and continued to speak in baby talk.

It was obvious that Xiao Jun was expressing his discontent that Song Xing Xing had not come and visited him for a while.

Unfortunately for Xiao Jun, his aunt did not understand a word he spoke. 

Song Xing Xing continued to tease the boy and kissed his chubby cheek a few more times.

In the end, Xiao Jun got tired of talking. He leaned his head on her aunt's chest and was ready to act spoiled. However, the baby soon noticed that there was a stranger in his house.

His eyes were staring at Lu Xun for a long time, wondering what was this person doing in his house.

"Ah!" Xiao Jun shouted.

Song Xing Xing followed the baby's gaze and watched as Lu Xun approached them. "Xiao Jun, this is Uncle Lu Xun, do you remember him?"

The baby stared at Lu Xun for a while and suddenly, he turned his head, not wanting to look at him.. Xiao Jun had a feeling that he did not like this uncle.
