You're My Only Star

Stretching her body, Lu An Ran stood beside the window to enjoy the scenery outside. Hearing the sound of laughter coming from the garden, Lu An Ran inched closer to check at what was going on.

The corner of her lips began to twitch as she saw the couple was playing around as they took a ride on the scooter bike together.

It was early in the morning. Lu An Ran woke up and was fed with dog food...

Lu An Ran stood longer to observe the couple. Seeing the smile on her brother's face, the corner of her lips could not help to raise as well.

Her brother was dating a younger person, and looking at his face made Lu An Ran feel as if this brother had changed into a younger brother as well. Her brother.... certainly looked a little younger when he was with Song Xing Xing.

After watching them for a while, Lu An Ran walked down the stairs and ran into the couple who was walking in together. Seeing their interaction, Lu An Ran suddenly missed her husband a little more. Fortunately, she was scheduled to leave in the afternoon.

Song Xing Xing still had a smile on her face when she suddenly noticed Lu An Ran who was descending the stairs from the second floor. Suddenly, she moved away from Lu Xun and flashed a sheepish smile at Lu An Ran. "Good morning."

Lu An Ran laughed. "Good morning. Xing Xing, you don't have to be so tense. Just come in and let's have breakfast together."

At this time, Auntie Wei walked out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of food. Her eyes lit up the moment she saw Song Xing Xing. "Miss Song, you're here. President Lu had let me a lot of good food. Come over and let's eat before the food gets cold."

Song Xing Xing followed Lu Xun to the dining table and looked at the variety of food on the table.

Auntie Wei did not lie. She had indeed made a lot of good food.

Just looking at it made her stomach grumbling and she started to salivate. She really missed Auntie Wei's meat bun.

After washing her hands, Lu Xun pulled a seat for her and the three of them sat around the table to eat their breakfast together.

Song Xing Xing liked the food that Auntie Wei made. But usually, she did not dare to come over to Lu Xun's place on her own.

The only reason she dared to come to Lu Xun's place at this time was that Lu Xun's sister was around. Knowing that there was someone else around made her feel more at ease.

This was the first time that she had been in a relationship. Although she had dated Lu Xun for a while, there are times when she felt a little shy. She liked the pace they were in and was a little worried about taking their relationship into the next phase.

After the three of them had their breakfast together, Lu Xun drove his sister over to the airport. The trip to the airport was very smooth.

When they arrived, there are still some time before Lu An Ran's flight was going to depart. She checked in and quickly left to enter the departure hall.

Lu An Ran was about to walk through the checkpoint when she recalled something. She quickly turned around and took out a pink paper bag from her luggage.

"I forgot. Xing Xing, this is for you." Lu An Ran said as she handed the paper bag.

Song Xing Xing stared at the paper bag and back at Lu An Ran. "For me?"

Lu An Ran nodded. "Last time, you had prepared a meeting gift for me and I did not give anything to you in return. This is for you."

"You don't have to do this." Her gaze fell on the paper bag. Song Xing Xing accepted her gift and peered into the bag.

"I would feel bad if I leave without giving back something to you in return." Lu An Ran leaned forward and pulled Song Xing Xing into a hug. "Xing Xing, promise me that you will come over to C Country with my brother when you are free. Next time, I will take you around to play."

"Alright." Song Xing Xing nodded.

Lu An Ran turned to her brother and whispered a few words.

Song Xing Xing did not know what did the two were talking but seeing the smile on Lu Xun's face, she guessed that it should be something good.

"An Ran, text me when you arrive."

"Alright. Brother, don't worry."

Lu An Ran tightened her grip on her purse and waved. After saying their goodbyes, Lu An Ran went into the departure hall, leaving the couple behind.

The couple waited until they could no longer see Lu An Ran before they left.

Lu Xun slid into the driver's seat and pulled out the mask that was covering his face. Worried that someone might have recognized him and disturbed the people around him, Lu Xun would still wear his mask whenever they went out.

"Where do you want to go?"

Hearing his question, Song Xing Xing turned to Lu Xun with a bright expression on her face. "You're taking me somewhere to play?"

"En." He leaned forward and gave her a peck on her forehead.

They are dating but most of the time, they would often spend their time together at her place. Because he was worried that someone might recognize him, the two of them had not gone out to play as much as they liked to.

Sometimes, Lu Xun felt sorry that they were unable to go out as much as they wanted. If he was not under the spotlight, perhaps he could have a normal date with his girlfriend.

"Where do you want to go?" Lu Xun asked.

Song Xing Xing thought about it for a while and spoke, "Then, let's go and go watch a movie."

"A movie?"

Song Xing Xing nodded. "We've never been to the cinema together before. Besides, you can take off your mask and you don't have to worry about being recognized."

Lu Xun laughed at her explanation. "You're thinking about me?"

"Un." Song Xing Xing sighed. "Sometimes, going out with you made me feel like I'm dating a superstar."

Lu Xun laughed. "Alright Let's go and watch a movie together." He looked at the navigation system and started to drive.
