You're My Only Star

As Lu Xun walked out of the meeting room, he could not help but notice that the look on his assistant's face was a little strange.

He glanced at Bei Yuan before he walked towards his office. Noticing the way Bei Yuan was looking at him anxiously, Lu Xun finally stop on his track and turned to look at his assistant again. "What's wrong with you? Just say if you have something to say. Why are you acting this strangely."

A sigh escaped him as Lu Xun wondered why did he employ such a strange assistant. Thinking about how this assistant was always competent in his task, Lu Xun decided that it doesn't matter if his assistant was a little strange as long as he get his work done.

"President Lu, someone is waiting for you in your office," Bei Yuan said. As he recalled the face of that person who had shown up suddenly, Bei Yuan could not help but shiver.

His brow raised. Lu Xun could not help but think whether his girlfriend had come over to visit him..

However, Lu Xun quickly dispel that thought.

It was still working hours and his girlfriend would not take the risk to visit him and being caught by the reporters by appearing at this time. Moreover, according to Bei Yuan, that person was waiting in his office.

A deep frown appeared on his face. "Who is it?" His steps quickened as he headed to his office. There were not a lot of people who were allowed to enter his office directly. For that person to be able to come into his office, he or she should have the access card to get to his floor.

"President Lu, it's.." Bei Yuan did not have the chance to answer him as his boss have already pushed the door open.

His steps halted as he saw the person who was seating leisurely on his sofa. This person is no other than his sister, Lu An Ran. "An Ran? What are you doing here?"

At this time, his sister was supposed to be in C Country. If he was not mistaken, his nephew should still be in school. Usually, his sister would not travel far whenever his nephew still have to go to school.

"Did the school holiday in C Country started?" Lu Xun asked. He turned around to remind his assistant to prepare some refreshments for his sister before closed the door behind them. "No. That's not right. Jia Xuan is not on school break at this time."

Lu An Ran stared at her elder brother for a long time. Then, she quickly looked away in anger.

Sensing his sister's foul mood, Lu Xun walked over to her and sat beside her. "What's wrong? Don't tell me that you fought with your husband? What is it, did he bullied you?"

Lu Xun quickly dispel that thought. It would be impossible for Professor Jia to bully his sister, right? For as long as he know that guy, Professor Jia was always so polite and soft-spoken. He always treated his sister well and their parents liked him as well.

If there is someone who would do the bullying in their relationship, it would be his sister.

"Brother, are you not going to admit what you do?" Lu An Ran looked at him angrily. "You have been ignoring me for days and you think that I fought with my husband?"

It was at this time that Lu Xun seemed to recall that his sister has been texting him. He had thought that an important matter about him getting a girlfriend was not something that he should discuss through text. Lu Xun had planned to call and speak to her about his dating news.

However, he kept on delaying this matter until he had had forgotten all about it.

He did not think that his sister would come from C Country, thinking that he had deliberately hidden things from her.

Lu Xun lowered his head and touched his nose. It seemed that he had indeed done something to anger his sister

Lu An Ran snorted, knowing that her brother had finally figured out what was wrong.

"The last time, you ask me to come to you when you were rejected by a girl. This time, you got yourself a girlfriend but you did not have the decency to introduce her to me," Lu An Ran spoke. Her tone was full of dissatisfaction. "Am I still your sister?"

It was fine if he hid this matter from their parents, as the couple was always busy. However, how could he hide this important matter from her?

"Sorry." Lu Xun let out a cough. "I was too busy with a lot of work. I should have called you sooner."

Lu An Ran did not speak and continued to look at her brother angrily.

Seeing the look on his sister's face, Lu Xun knew that he needed to figure out something and change the subject.

"An Ran, did you come here alone? How about Jia Xuan and your husband?"

"They were both in C Country. This is considered an emergency. So, Professor Jia let me stay here for a few days while he will be looking after Jia Xuan." As she spoke about her husband and son, the look on Lu An Ran's face was no longer as angry,

"Then. You must be tired after more than twelve hours flight. Where are you staying? Instead of staying at the hotel, how about staying at my place?"

"Let's not change the subject. Brother, are you not going to tell me about your girlfriend?" Lu An Ran started to probe. "You only let me see your girlfriend's cat? How about the girl? Why did Brother Yu Han and Sister Celine get to see them first?"

Lu Xun let out a laugh. He had a feeling that his sister would not be satisfied until he introduced Song Xing Xing face to face.

"Since you're already here, of course, I will let you two meet and introduce her to you."

Instantly, Lu An Ran started to smile brightly. "Then, I'll listen to you and stay at your place this time."

Lu Xun heaved a sigh. He wondered how will Song Xing Xing reacted when he told her that he was going to introduce her to his sister.

Song Xing Xing is his girlfriend while Lu An Ran is his sister. They are the two women that he loved dearly. Of course, he wanted them to get along.

Suddenly, Lu Xun recalled the last time he had seen Song Xing Xing with his sister and nephew at the studio. At that time, they did not know each other well but Lu Xun could see that they could get along fine. Perhaps he should not worry about them too much.
