You're My Only Star

As the post-production of the drama had finally ended, Lu Xun had invited everyone from the team to have dinner together.

Song Xing Xing left the studio with her colleague and headed to the restaurant that Lu Xun had booked. 

The moment they arrived at the restaurant, everyone could not help to look around the place. This was the first drama that the studio had produced. The celebration was held at one of the reputable restaurants in the city.

"Xing Xing, the food at this place should be very expensive, right?" Liu Yu Sheng said with a sigh. "We have to eat a lot today. Or else, who knows when will the next time we get to eat at such place."

Song Xing Xing agreed. It was hard to get a free meal at an expensive restaurant such as this. Of course, she was planning to eat until her stomach was full.

The post-production group sat around a table. As they were chatting, the actor and actress of the drama entered the room and sat at their designed table.

Huo Yun Chen walked into the room and flashed a smile as he met Song Xing Xing's gaze. Because the lead actress, Qiao An, was speaking to him, Huo Yun Chen was able to shift his gaze immediately before anyone could notice their exchange.

Liu Yu Sheng let out a sigh as she watched the man walked into the hall. There was a hint of admiration in her eyes as she looked at Huo Yun Chen. 

Previously, when the group was filming in the studio, she could still peek at her favorite idol. Now that the filming in the studio, who knew when will be the next time she could see Huo Yun Chen this close.

At the side, Ning Yan looked at his girlfriend and coughed. Although he knew that Huo Yun Chen is her idol, can she not admire the man openly in front of her boyfriend?

Hearing his cough, Liu Yu Sheng quickly looked away and stuck her tongue at her boyfriend.

Song Xing Xing watched their interaction and laughed. Looking at how they behaved, she suddenly missed her boyfriend. As the man's face appeared in her mind, Song Xing Xing took out her phone and started to text him.

A sigh of relief escaped her when he replied that he was going to arrive with his assistant soon.

The couple beside her kept on shoving her with dog food. Song Xing Xing stood up and gave her friends an excuse that she was going to the restroom. Then, she turned around and snuck over to the entrance.

As she stood at the door, Song Xing Xing sent a message to Lu Xun to tell him that she would be waiting for him.

Hearing that the waiter's voice greeting a new customer into the restaurant, Song Xing Xing quickly raised her head expecting to see her boyfriend. However, the person in front of her was not the one she was expecting to see.

For a few seconds, Song Xing Xing was dumbfounded as she saw Lu Xun's ex-girlfriend. The two women exchanged a glance. From the look at it, Shi An Na too was not expecting to see her at this place.

Song Xing Xing quickly snapped out of her trance and looked away wanting to ignore the person who was unrelated to her. Her eyes narrowed before she stepped aside to wait for Lu Xun. Even though she had made it clear that she wanted to ignore this person, it seemed that Shi An Na did not share the same sentiment.

Hearing the sound of high heels walking towards her, Song Xing Xing then looked up and saw that Lu Xun's ex-girlfriend was standing in front of her. The woman gave her a look over before she sneered in disdain. 

According to Shi An Na's observation, for one to step into this luxury restaurant, everyone should be properly dressed. Looking at the girl in front of her, Shi An Na quickly labeled her as a country bumpkin.

In her mind, someone like Song Xing Xing should have come over to the Capital City to hook up with a rich guy like Lu Xun.  His opinion towards Song Xing Xing naturally was not that good.

After the last meeting with Lu Xun, Shi An Na had asked someone to investigate Song Xing Xing. She found out that Song Xing Xing came from an ordinary family in Y City. Other than that, the investigator was unable to find out anything useful.

Of course, Shi An Na was unaware that the Song's family had helped to hide Song Xing Xing's identity. No matter what they investigated, they would not find out anything.

"You're… Lu Xun's new girlfriend?" Seeing that Song Xing Xing did not respond, Shi An Na stepped closer and clicked her tongue. "Are you waiting for Lu Xun?"

Noticing the way the woman was looking at her, Song Xing Xing could guess what was going on in her mind. A helpless sigh escaped her. If only she knew that she would run into this troublesome person, Song Xing Xing would rather not go outside.

"Seeing that you are so young, let me give you a reminder," Shi An Na said. "Lu Xun is not interested in you. He just thinks of you as a plaything. Before you get entangled further with him, it is best if you leave him. If he leaves you first, you are going to suffer."

"Why are you saying this to me?"

Shi An Na raised a brow. "Of course, as a woman, I feel that I needed to remind you of these things. Didn't you know that everyone who wanted to get close to Lu Xun would have a bad ending? One of the girls that Lu Xun was involved in is an heiress. Lu Xun would not even look at her. Why do you think that he wanted to look at you?"

"Whether he is serious about me or not, you, as an outsider had no right to say anything."

Shi An Na's expression turned pale with anger. She did not think that Song Xing Xing would be this arrogant! "Do you know who I am?"

"Aren't you just his ex-girlfriend?" Song Xing Xing sneered. "Miss Shi, I don't know what is the reason you came to me. It couldn't be that you wanted me to leave Lu Xun so that you can get back together with him right?"

Shi An Na's expression turned red as Song Xing had guessed her intention.

"Lu Xun had already explained about his past relationship with you. He already said that he no longer has feelings towards you." Song Xing Xing flashed her a smile that did not reach her eyes. "If you wanted to sow discord between me and my boyfriend, I'm afraid that it would not work.. As a woman, I feel that I need to remind you that it's not good to ruin other's relationships. Trying to be the third party… are you not afraid of karma?"
