Chapter 621 Towerfall
After Dilan had sent Felicia and Williams away, he didn't hesitate to get into action.
He was still smiling from ear to ear with his full attention on the huge entrance of the several-hundred-meter tall tower. If he were to estimate it, the tower was probably six hundred meters tall and two hundred meters in breadth and height.
Dilan was not good with numbers but he imagined Rory in her dragon form squeezing in the Orc Tower. That made things much easier as a measurement, Six Rory's tall!
He had almost begun to chuckle at the thought of it. But instead of losing his grasp of the situation, Dialn ended up changing the shape of Oricalm once again.
A huge greatsword appeared in his hands and more than ten layers of destruction engulfed it. The layers of destruction fused to one dense coat around the greatsword. It was a grayish film that enhanced the destructive power behind Dilan's attacks.
He knew exactly how strong his swore was right now, which was also the reason why he had to grit his teeth and sacrifice his life force more than three times in order to activate the strongest Immortality Aura he could handle at the fourth Tier.
His True Undying Essence was fully unleashed, replenishing his life force as quickly as possible. At the same time, his body was forcefully pulled together in an attempt to prevent him from bursting apart.
But that was not an easy feat because Dilan was not yet done enhancing his prowess. He unleashed the Destruction Domain, in the direction of the huge Orc Tower.
Moments turned into seconds and it was only after what felt like an eternity that someone within the Orc Tower began to move. Yet, instead of twelve powerful figures moving around hurriedly, Dilan could only sense three existences, three Blood Orc Shamans moving around, while the fluctuations of the twelve Orc Apostles dispersed.
"Oh? The Apostles are not even here? Well, that makes it easier, for sure!" Dilan thought, not without a hint of disappointment. He had wished that his attack would half a few Orc Apostles the moment he unleashed it.
Unfortunately, that was not something he would be able to experience today, not right now at least.
'At least I have a sweet tower in front of me, and my remaining targets to eliminate. That's better than nothing!'
Taking a deep breath, Dilan closed his eyes. The color of his eyes changed to a bright shining silver that was clearly visible when he opened his eyes once again.
Determination and desire gleamed inside his eyes, but also relieve. He was happy that their plan had worked out perfectly fine, without a single casualty. No one was injured either. It was almost too good to be true, but Dilan liked it that way!
His smile of utter exhilaration eased up a little as he fused all his powers together. Oricalm's blade began to shine in a bright whitish-silver color as he exhaled deeply.
He dashed forward, swung the huge greatsword with great momentum and he unleashed the Lesser version of the 73rd Slash of the Destruction Sword Style, Godkiller!
A crescent-shaped beam of silver-white light burst out of the greatsword when he unleashed the power that had accumulated within the blade.
The greatsword came in touch with the Orc tower's wall and it cut through it like warm butter. There was no resistance at all, just a razor-sharp blade cutting through strong, followed by a terrifying blade beam that destroyed everything in its way, including the remaining walls of the tower and even the pillars that anchored the tower to the ground.
Dilan finished his attack without any disruptions. His eyes shone brightly and in satisfaction.
A shockwave erupted from within the tower, flinging Dilan backward. He landed on the ground, unable to get up for a second or two before his focus diverted to the tower once again.
For a second or two nothing seemed to happen…Dilan didn't expect anything to happen either. Nonetheless, he was satisfied.
"To think that I could cut through the entire tower looks like I am already stronger than expected…though I don't really like that my body breaks down whenever I activate any of my techniques. It's a shame that I cannot show off their true prowess yet…" He mumbled to himself while looking down at his body even if it was extremely painful.
His arms were twisted over and over again, his shoulders broken in more than a dozen areas, and Oricalm had fallen out of his hands that looked like a small child with superhuman strength had played around with for quite a while.
Dilan willed Oricalm to return to his Soul, which the soul weapon did. It turned into strands of energy that shot into his chest where it disappeared inside his soul.
"So now that Oricalm has been taken care of, how about I give you a little push while the rest of my body heals?" He said out loud while looking at the orc's tower.
His smile turned devilish and he had almost begun to chuckle if not for the fact that he began to call himself an insane idiot.
He used Switch and reallocated some of his Mana over to his Strength, just enough to give the Orc tower a mighty kick.
The wall broke around the area he kicked, which made him wonder if he had to use his mana to strengthen the wall before he could kick it properly.
However, Dilan quickly realized that the orc tower gained enough momentum from his powerful kick.
And thus, the mighty tower fell thanks to the kick of a measly human being.
"That was fun." He said after a while.
His body began to heal and the sound of flesh, muscles, and bones moving inside his body resounded in his ears.
It was not a pleasant sound but it was also something he was already somewhat accustomed to.
His Mystic Eyes activated, and Dilan flew over to the upper end of the orc tower. He manifested Oricalm in his hand. His Soul Weapon was in the Desert Eagle shape and they were already filled with bullets, ready to finish the mission he had been given properly.
"Head hunters have it quite hard, don't they?"
