Chapter 112: Tragedy of the Demonic Continent (1)
The trio sat at the front of the carriage, with Aleron sitting between Rias and Roxen.
"Let's see..." Aleron's eyes appeared curious as he expanded his Monitor Dome to observe the
area.
But then an awkward silence descended between Rias and Roxen.
As the carriage arrived above the dark forest glowing with colorful ghastly and demonic plants below, marking their entry into the demonic forest, Roxen cleared her throat before finally speaking:
"So, did you do it on top of the carriage? I wasn't expecting your first time to happen in this manner," Roxen chuckled.
"Roxen!" Rias pouted with her face turning red. "But we didn't go all the way...yet."
"Well, I knew it was only a matter of time," Roxen laughed.
Rias smiled, looking blissful.
"There's a population ahead, but a few white dots just disappeared while it's filled with red and black..." Aleron's brows furrowed and a trail of Magilore released from him before enveloping the entire carriage in a second. "I am teleporting. Hold on."
In the next second, the entire carriage vanished as they arrived above a village echoing with screams and roars. The village was getting destroyed by demons adorned with dark red
armor.
The demon civilians cried in anguish or tried to fight back, but they were being trampled with brutality. Some were outright getting killed, not even sparing the kids, some were getting captured in the cage, mostly females, while at other parts, some female demons were getting raped while their kids cried in distress, etching everlasting trauma on them.
The moment Aleron saw the brutality happening below, his eyes visibly filled up with red as his blood vessels burst due to the anger boiling his blood.
"STOP!!"
A burst of Magilore wave released from him, spreading through the entire village before paralyzing every living being.
"You two, quickly take care of the kids, please."
Aleron vanished from his spot before he descended into the village, his fists clenched tightly as he wanted to scream, but he focused on important things first.
First, he marked all the kids and sent them into Eldertide Archipelago along with Rias and
Roxen.
Rias and Roxen snapped out of their shocked state as they found themselves on the palace grounds with around thirty kids.
Most of the kids had fainted while some looked traumatized and dead with their eyes opened. Their ages ranged from three years old to ten years old.
Rias's tears couldn't help but flow out seeing such terror in the kids.
"Why..." Roxen muttered with a heavy heart, her expression couldn't get any uglier and somber as she wasn't expecting this level of brutality right after entering the demonic continent.
Both of them quickly started healing and helping the kids by talking and showing kindness, assuring them that the nightmare was over.
Meanwhile, the civilian demons and armored demons saw Aleron.
The armored demons started shouting and screaming at Aleron.
"Who the hell are you?! Do you know we are men of Demon King Baratos?!"
"How dare you interfere in our work!"
Aleron's eyes were absolutely deadpan as being indifferent and cold was the only way to deal with the situation most efficiently. He was feeling anger, but he had directed it towards the most optimal result to inflict befitting punishment on these pieces of trash.
However, he couldn't hurt them. Paralysing them was still fine, but if he hurt them, he would break the condition.
As such, he focused on saving people first.
The civilian demons didn't know why everyone stopped moving, but they didn't want to think why because the nightmare was over.
But alas, the saddening reality of the past, of what had occurred here would still haunt them.
"W-where is my child?"
"My children..."
"My Soran...." A woman looked dead in her eyes as she muttered, her body was ravaged and her eyes were dried as she had witnessed her two-year-old kid eaten alive by the monster. She had no will to live anymore.
Aleron's eyes were already tearful as he could feel the despair lingering in the air. He didn't waste a second more and snapped his finger, teleporting all civilian demons into Eldertide Archipelago, but at a different place than their kids.
Soon, they arrived at an unknown place with a young human man facing them.
"Don't worry, you all and your kids are safe. You will see them soon," Aleron said as he wiped his eyes and smiled as best as he could as he used one more skill to envelop all the gathered villagers in a huge healing bubble. Most of them were injured, with some severely injured and on the verge of death.
It wasn't long before many of them started crying. They were crying due to the tragedy that struck them as their loved ones died, and the hell their kids and they experienced.
"You all will be fully healed soon. I'm going to bring your kids over here, wait."
Aleron had put this group of demon villagers on a grassy ground with a beautiful array of trees nearby that to an entrance of the Hotspring Hill.
This place was peaceful and two kilometers away from the necropolis, so it was the best place for them to recover.
Not long afterward, Aleron returned as he appeared before the villagers while their kids slept in floating bubbles, sleeping soundly.
Rias and Roxen were also there, heavy-hearted and saddened. Even if they were demons, they were still innocents who were preyed upon by the strong.
"I've put them to sleep and triggered their brain to dream happily," Aleron said to the villagers as he walked towards them and sat in front of them after conjuring a chair, his
expression somber.
*Puchii....*
Suddenly, a demon woman pierced her own throat with her hand.
"Carrin!"
Her friend screamed and quickly grabbed her, but she was soon healed instantly as Aleron
used a healing skill.
"No...No..." the woman muttered as she looked at Aleron, her eyes hollow with despair.
"Please kill me....my husband, my child....I want to see them."
Aleron bit his lips, his eyes that recovered turned slightly red and teary again as he stood up
from the chair before speaking:
