Chapter 106: Lightdusk Academy Library
Chapter 106: Lightdusk Academy Library
"What? Azure Moon Shard will open in five days?" Rias was shocked.
"Indeed," Kadita nodded with a wry smile. "The Goddess Church notified me just before a minute they wanted me to make an announcement."
"Goddess Elysia also began the Call of Heroes as all heroes from all over the continent will come here to enter the Grand Rado Labyrinth which will open after ten days," Kadita said. "From these movements, it does feel like something big is going to happen soon."
"Secret realm in five days and labyrinth after ten days..." Aleron muttered. 'Will the demons begin pouring in by that time?'
'I need to contact Arran'tel and find out what's happening there as well.'
Rias grabbed Aleron's hand and said firmly, "Ale, I can help as well. Don't hesitate to give me a task."
"I won't hesitate, haha. First, I need to spar and fight for a bit to complete the consolidation of my surge of power through pills. I'll finish the books fast and then we can do that."
"Alright, we can do that," Rias smiled before she turned to Kadita, "Master, I have some resources, so can you please make two Exceed-rank stat boost pill sets for all stats?"
"Alright."
"And one more thing please," Rias chuckled and said, "I want to teleport back to Longinus Empire for a bit, so I would need a teleport formation."
"Why do you want to return?" Aleron curiously asked. "To get something?"
"Yep," Rias grinned. "It's a valuable and limited treasure, though it's not useful to you because you've already awakened your soul."
Kadita remembered something as her eyebrows jumped, "Are you talking about Soul Break pills?"
"Exactly."
"Soul Break Pills?" Aleron felt confused at the pill's name.
Roxen nodded and answered, "It's a super valuable pill for those breaking through to Exceed- rank. Usually, one only awakens their soul when they are breaking through to Primeval-rank, but eating a Soul Break pill after reaching peak Legendary rank can do wonders.
First, breaking through to Exceed-rank was guaranteed upon taking this pill, but there was also a half chance to awaken one's soul early!
It was called Soul Break because it would break the soul of a cocoon and cause a latent soul awakening. Soul potency would be lower than generally gained when breaking through to Primeval rank, but this was still ultra beneficial.
Aleron had awakened his soul early as well, so he knew how much useful the Soul Path was.
...
After Kadita gave the access card to Aleron, he, Rias, and Roxen arrived in the grandest library on the Lightdusk continent and Aleron's eyes sparkled at the amount of magic books he saw inside.
"Senior Rias, you've returned?"
"I heard you know the Punisher of Nailzim city, Princess Rias. I am really curious about him."
Two junior girls eighteen years old rushed towards Rias with excitement while also holding curiosity towards Aleron.
"Who is handsome gentlemen? Never seen him here before," one of the maroon ponytail girls asked as she smiled at them.
"Could it be your partner in the secret realm trial?!"
Aleron had changed his face slightly because the news of Punisher and his acts in Nailzim city had spread to all major cities by now and many could recognize him, which he didn't want for now and wanted to focus on his task at hand.
"I am Ash Darts," Aleron cooked up a random name of two words that came up in his mind and smiled. "Nice to meet you."
"Hello, senior Ash, hehe. Since you are chosen by Princess Rias, you must be very powerful." "Very much," Roxen chuckled.
"Eh, but it can't be more than senior Draven," the other girl with blond curly hair said with a light laugh. "I heard senior Drav-"
"We are a bit busy, you two birds. We shall talk later," Rias interrupted them with a smile. "Actually, I need this library empty," Aleron muttered as he suddenly floated up before his voice echoed, "Hello everyone, attention please."
Over ten people were present on this floor and more on the above floors, all of them looked at Aleron who floated at the 2nd-floor height.
"Sorry for disturbing you all, but could you all please leave the library? Of course, I will compassionate you with ten SSS-grade magic stones to each of you. What do you say?"
"What?!"
"Ten SSS-grade magic stones? Are you insane? Give me and I will not come here for ten days!"
"Show us first, humph."
Aleron waved his hand and created a small pile of SSS-grade magic stones at the entrance of the Library before he smiled and said, "Please exit and grab 10 magic stones from here."
Right after he spoke, Rias's voice echoed, cold and sharp, "Don't take extra or you won't have a hand to grab anything later."
Those who didn't know and on the upper floor immediately knew that Star Flower had
returned.
"It's Princess Rias."
"Who is he then?"
"Must be her partner for the secret realm trial."
"Free SSS-grade magic stones banzai. Thank you so much, unknown mister."
Aleron chuckled, "You're welcome."
Rias and Roxen only dryly smiled as they saw people leaving while grabbing ten SSS-grade magic stones from the pile.
After everyone left, Aleron's eyes flashed as he finally used Monitor Dome after the short break, but he didn't use much and only covered the library.
In the next second, magic-related books started leaving the shelves quickly. In just a few seconds, Aleron was surrounded by a storm of books as he floated in the hall's center of the
library.
Magilore strings shot out of his body before attaching the books one by one as Aleron started absorbing the knowledge.
"Ain't this cheating?" Roxen's face fell with a helpless expression.
Rias chuckled, "He is an extraordinarily fast learner."
"Thought I would take a look, but wasn't expecting this," Kadita arrived with a speechless expression. Since she had a mastery of the Space syllabus, she would often teleport to various classes and places out of nowhere, pleasantly or unpleasantly surprising people.
"Can he learn arcane syllabus from magic books like this?" Kadita asked in doubt.
"He is not learning, he is eating those books and digesting them like eating food," Roxen answered with a speechless expression. "Well, but there's no doubt about whether he understands or not."
"Indeed, he does gain complete knowledge like that," Rias added with a chuckle.
Kadita's jaw dropped at their confirmation.
