Rebirth: The Villainous Young Master Doesn't Want to Follow the Script

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! PLEASE HAVE YOUR ATTENTION ON US FOR A MOMENT! THANK YOU FOR WAITING! THE MOMENT IS HERE! THE AUCTION EVENT WILL STARTS NOW!"

After the MC announced the start of the auction evt, Arico whistles as he said; "Finally, it started! Geez! I hate this kind of stuffy evts!"

The Slayer Agt complained as he watched the whole spectacle from above while observing those aristocrats who situated from below, only to be scoffed at the sight he is looking at right now.

Eclipse, on the other hand, heard the scoffing and looked at his companion with a raised eyebrow; "What are you scoffing off about? Did one of these aristocrats offded you in some ways or something?"

Arico sneered as he looked away and crossed his arms a his chest and said; "Just hurry up and looked for that clit so that we could get the hell out of this place."

After he said those words, Arico left the balcony and wt inside the room, leaving Eclipse behind in that place and the world-hopper just shrugged off his shoulder and th focus on the evt while looking for any signs about their dear clit who seemed to love playing hide-and-seek with him.

"JUST A FEW REMINDERS, OUR DEAR GUESTS! BEFORE THE EVENT WOULD START, THIS PLACE ALREADY HAS VOID AMPLIFICATION ARRAY SO THAT ANY KIND OF MAGIC ACTIVATION OR AURA WOULD RENDERED VOID OR CANCEL FOR SAFETY PURPOSES! WE HOPE THAT OUR DEAR GUESTS WOULD COMPLY DURING THE EVENT!"

Arico, who wt inside and left Eclipse on the balcony, heard what the MC was talking about and scoffed off as he unleashed some of his poser and looked at his hands as his aura was still intact.

"Void Amplification Array? I can still unleash my power a little bit here though. What are they talking about?"

As he said that, Eclipse also activated his power in secrecy to see if his ability would be affected by the array, but he felt the surge of power coursing through his veins and snapped his power back to disappear.

"It seems that our authority isn't affected by this array since our authority isn't bound by the laws of this worldline, which is good though."

That's the only conclusion that Eclipse could think about as he continued to watch over the guests from where he stood as the MC continued its speech for today's auction evt.

"I don't get these humans being overly hyped with auctioned items and wasted their money for junk items."

Eclipse just hummed in agreemt but ignores his companion's constant nagging about this place as he need to pay atttion within the surings from downstairs and the world-hopper doesn't have the time to cater to his companion's whims of complaint.

'Sometimes, I wonder who's the older one betwe us? Because he tantrums like a child whever he sees fit to throw a tantrum in this place.'

He thought as he shook off his head and just ignored his fellow companion and focused on observing the guests downstairs to keep an eye on their target.

'Just where the heck is that guy? From the information provided, there wasn't an exact detail on what item Gilbert Herrer is looking for in this auction evt, but I bet that it would be related to the commission item that I had within me.'

The world-hopper frowns as he think further while kept on waiting for any sign of their dear clit within the crowds while watching the auction evt would start at any momt.

"THE MOMENT WE HAVE BEEN ALL WAITING FOR! DOES OUR ESTEEMED GUESTS READY?!"

Arico sighed and said; "Finally, it started."

Eclipse looked at the front cter where the stage was prest and there is another person on the stage who pushed through the cart they were holding on and the world-hopper would assume that it's one of the items that would be auctioned in this evt since it still covered in cloth.

"Do we need to bid as well?"

Arico asked him and Eclipse looked at his companion who was now at his said and said stoically; "Do you have money to bid?"

Arico; "…."

'This cheeky brat—!'

The Slayer Agt want to refute back because of the insult but suddly, he doesn't have the heart to do that, lest he wanted to face this brat's wrath, and he didn't want to become the receiving d.

'For some reason, I don't know why I get the feeling that I'm always scared to anger this brat wh he is much younger than me in thousands of years.'

He questioned himself about that matter and no matter how much he thought about it, there is no answer to those questions that keeps on popping out on his mind.

Eclipse might be one of the successor candidates, (In reality, he is truly the successor candidate, not officially though but most of the residce within the Main House System already knew in their hearts who would be their next Leader / Master of the Universal Realm), but he is still one of the youngest within his fellow peers.

Arico, on one hand, is one of the sior agts within the Main House System and had a notorious reputation as one of the executioners in their departmt and he shouldn't be afraid of this brat but there are some unknown forces that makes the Slayer Agt do nothing but to be subservit in front of this cheeky brat.

'I don't know if Eclipse knew the kind of power he holds but it seems like up until now, he doesn't have any idea about his deep hidd powers within him.'

The Slayer Agt remembered some of the conversation that he had with Sir Red in regards about Eclipse.

« ... "I just hope that wh the time comes, he needs to accept the fate that was stored within him the momt he exist in this world. No matter what he does, it's his fate to fulfill his actual role and the meaning of his existce in this world." ….. »

Arico was skeptical and perplexed with those statemts and up until now, the Slayer Agt still couldn't understand those statemts but there are times wh he thought about it and th just tossed it aside from his thoughts.

'Eclipse's actual role? What kind of role though?'

"The auction is about to start. Arico, activate your sses and tried to locate our clit within these crowds."

The Slayer Agt snapped from his thoughts and th did as what Eclipse tell him.

Arico looked at his companion and asked; "How about you? What are you going to do?"

Eclipse; "Since we were considered one of the VIP guests, it would be better for us to take part of this evt so that no one would suspect us of being an insider."

Arico raised an eyebrow because of the world-hopper's statemt; "Did you bring money with you? Also, you're not the type of person who would be interested in this kind of evt, ev though you are a former noble."

The Slayer Agt said, and Eclipse just shrugged off his shoulder and said; "This is just a cover up and since we occupy a VIP room, the person-in-charge from before expected us to participate in this evt, especially since the [tok] that I prested came from some sort of a prestigious household within this contint."

Eclipse explained their situation and Arico nodded as he thought that it's reasonable for them to, at least, participate in this evt to avoid suspicions within the crowd.

"PLACE YOUR BIDS, OUR DEAR ESTEEMED GUESTS! AS FOR OUR FIRST ITEM TO BE AUCTIONED…."

Both gtlem immediately looked at the front cter stage where the auction evt was now commcing, and the first item is now at the cter stage and was concealed with a cloth.

"Wow! Look at these humans whose eyes are greedy for the first item that would be auctioned! Tsk! Human greed knows no bounds!"

Arico said as he scoffed off those people and Eclipse just shook off his head because of his companion's tantrums and he just ignored him for now as he focused on the first item that would be revealed.

"THIS ITEM WAS FOUNDED BY ONE OF THE ADVENTURERS TEAM IN THE RUINS OF THE NORTHEASTERN TERRITORY OF OUR EMPIRE AND THEY DECIDED TO AUCTION THIS ITEM SINCE THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED SOME SORT OF ANCIENT RELICS OF THE PAST!"

After the MC make an introductory about the first mysterious item, most of the guests are now whispering with one another and tried to gouge the concealed item that was covered in cloth and Arico just whistles as he chuckled because of how the MC exaggerated everything the item auctioned.

"Such a smooth talker out there! He knew how to bring the crowd's curiosity to the next level, eh?"

Arico said and Eclipse hummed in agreemt as he crossed his arms a his chest and after that, he frowns.

"Is there something wrong?"

The Slayer Agt noticed Eclipse's sudd mood as he looked at the first item concealed that was prested in the front cter stage.

He shook off his head and said; "No, it's nothing. It's just…. I have a gut feeling that I couldn't explain."
