Lucas looked at all the information in front of his eyes with an excited smile. He even let out a grunty giggle that made John and the others realize that everything had gone well.
With Lucas, they all entered the newly upgraded, very different-looking shelter. Even the wood color had changed to light brown.
Lucas had no interest in the decoration and while the others were touching the layer of stone and the whole shelter with marvel. He directly went for the door.
The door was made of wood and had no defects, the wood was light brown with some designer black lines that looked like threads.
There was no door knob and Lucas directly just pushed the gate with his left hand.
There was no sound as if the door had the modern suspension that people see in the closets.
The door opened full and the whole interior was in front of him, curiosity filled everyone and their eyes darted inside.

The walls were same as before, made of wood, there was no stone inside but a single detail had everyone's attention.
"Wooden floor?!" Sarah exclaimed with a shriek.
She was right, the floor was made with the same wooden planks they had cut and provided for upgrade. It was just that it looked a bit more furnished and there were bigger tiles of wood rather than the small-sized planks they provided.
Lucas took his first step inside the shelter, a sense of pride filled him that all this had happened due to his skill.
"By the way, where did all the stuff go? The hides, the meat and all." Barney said from the side, suddenly, everyone realized that it the things they left inside were not present in front of them.
Panick filled John and Lucas because the meat was for the trade and even the hides were not there.
He was going to say something but he found Ella moving to the left, his eyes went to where she was going and a rather curious gaze formed on his face.
There was another door but nobody noticed it first because it was at the corner at the side of the door.
The distance between the entrance and the other door inside the shelter was around four meters. The shelter from inside had increased to a whopping 10 meters from the 5 by 5 like before.
Lucas followed Ella and took a few steps which were enough to reach the entrance of the door.
There was no door knob like before and Lucas knew what to do, he overtook Ella from the side and pushed the gate with less strength.
The door opened without trouble and a cold feeling made its way to everyone's skin. Lucas had a shiver from the sudden change in temperature.
Without caring, he went inside and the appearance was gorgeous.
The whole walls were made of grey stone making it look like a coating of cement was done and the paint finishing was around the corner.
There was no problem in the quality of the walls, they were as polished as the soil floor they once slept on. The stone walls were not the only surprising thing. Every three feet from the grey stone-made ground, there was a wooden slab.
There were four slabs on the four walls except for the entrance. The shelves were connected with each other and they formed a room that looked like a warehouse storage in the medieval age or a collector's room with space to put all of his valuables in one room.
Yet again the shelves were not the only thing that made them fall head over heal for the room, on the front wall's second shelf from the ground.
There were the hides put together in two stacks simultaneously. It was not all and to there left, a shelf containing all the meat they smoked and kept in their clothes were there while on the right, the meat that was raw was located.
The floor had the body of the five Coyates in a corner while the body of the big corpse was also located alongside them.
The living area was 10 by 10 big now while the storage room was about 7 by 7.
"... This changes everything... Lucas. I can't believe what I am seeing..." John had a marveled expression on his face.
"All this while I was thinking that the upgrade would be some increase in the room or a camp or something. But this room? This is special, the temperature is cold as a fridge." John kept blurting out facts abut the storage room with a dumb expression.
Lucas went in without saying anything, even he was excited as to how much that upgrade had changed the area. At once, all the problems they thought they had while collecting the upgrade materials went away from their brains.
Their hard work had doubled their rewards if not triple.
Everyone stayed there and looked at every nook and cranny of the storage room alone but after ten minutes, they found that the cold was seeping into their body which would mean that they could get some exposure which was not good in this area.
They went out and went outside the shelter altogether.
"Now that I am seeing this again, I think even the outside area before the defense has increased."
Lucas just nodded while the others engaged in a conversation. The outside area of the territory which was only 2 meters before was now a whopping 6, bigger than the shelter before the upgrade.
Lucas did not know how to react, after the upgrade, he felt relieved and better protected with this newly built shelter but at the same time, his responsibilities had increased.
He missed his parent and wanted them to shift here but it was tough as he didn't know the location where they were.
