Chapter 329: God of the Seas
Chapter 329: God of the Seas
In a blink of an eye, the entire dull gray world of Leslie became an intense battlefield of glass and water. Aquarius was shooting spinning orbs of water towards Leslie, who in turned gave Aquarius the rain of glass swords.
"This is intense," Minos chuckled while he was inside of Christina's sphere. He sat on the sphere's floor and watched the fight going on outside.
"Why are you just sitting there?" Christina grunted. "Help your friend. He can't possibly deal with that Sin alone. You know how powerful he was."
Minos shrugged, "If I interfere, either I'd get torn to shreds by Leslie's glass storm, or get drown by Aki. I chose neither."
"Well you have to at least help me," Christina said. "You're just sitting there while I maintain our shield. Isn't that a bit unfair?"
"What's unfair is that you kept your speed on the sphere when there's no projectile to block from outside. Besides, you're maintaining two spheres. You can even halt the inner one," Minos chuckled with a more insulting tone. He smirked at Christina and shrugged again. "Just saying."
When the girl realized this, she slowed down the rotation of the inner sphere they were in. She was looking around to see if there was anything.
"You're right," Christina whispered. She thrust her left hand and opened her palm, making the inner sphere stop spinning. The outer one was being controlled by her other hand which was clenching while being raised above her.
"Storm of Shattered Glass," Leslie casted. All of its shards stopped and grouped together to form larger swords. The size of each sword was the same size of Aquarius himself who was smirking as he watched the swords slowly point at him.
Leslie opened his palm in front of him, "Goodbye."
In a blink of an eye, Leslie closed his hands and all the glass swords shot towards Aquarius. The man laughed as the swords reach him, creating a large cloud of dust from the shattered glass.
"Oh, no!" Christina gasped. "Aquarius!"
There was a whirling spinnig sound that echoed inside the dimension. The sound was eerily similar to the spinning sphere of Christina, but it was more intense and had a stronger sound to it.
Leslie's jaw dropped to the floor after seeing a sphere that spun faster than anything it could ever imagine. The usual crystal clear water of Aquarius was barely transparent due to the speed of the water.
Around the water were four large formations of giant creatures. The creatures were made of water and they all looked like they were from the beasts called Naga.
"Guardians of the God of the Seas," Aquarius said from the inside of the sphere. He was kneeling inside, raising his right hand while his other hand held on his arm. "This is a skill I gained after earning the title."
"Ah, he had to use that," Minos chuckled from inside of the stadium. "After gaining the God title, an Adventurer will choose over three additional overpowered skills namely the Guardians, the Wings, and the Broken Anthem."
"So he chose the Guardians?" Christina asked to which Minos answered with a shaking of his head and a menacing laughter.
"A guy like Aquarius will never leave a stone unturned," Minos said, proudly smirking while watching his friend. "You should probably start spinning the second sphere. This will get bloody."
"You didn't answer my question yet," Christina grunted. She had no choice but to follow the orders given to her while she tries to squeeze Minos for information. "What do you mean?"
Minos shrugged, "Watch. Just watch."
The water summons of Aquarius placed their hands on top of the sphere he was in. When the large summons took out their hands, weapons came along with them.
"The Four Naga Guardians of the Seas," Aquarius said. "I command you to defeat that Sin and free your master from this endless world."
"Yes master," the Naga creatures replied. They raised their weapons and with a blink of an eye, disappeared. Leslie glared at Aquarius playfully.
While he was hovering in the air, it rocked his body back and forth. Its movements dodged the first two Naga creatures that suddenly appeared on either side of him and launched their attacks.
"Basic movements," Leslie said. He then raised his right hand and conjured two glass swords from on top and below him. The swords started spinning like fans, just in time for the other two Naga creatures to attack him.
"At first I thought this was very interesting since even the strongest beings could only summon one or two at a time, but then quality beats quantity, am I right"
In a single second, the four Naga creatures spun. With a swift thrust of their tridents, the Naga managed to pierce all limbs of Leslie. Two at the arms, and two at the legs.
"This is nothing I've ever seen before!" Leslie grinned even when the blood oozed from his mouth. "Aquarius, you are one formidable foe."
Aquarius only shook his head and pointed two palms at the Sin. "Naga Guardians stance of offense. Death to the threat!"
Just before the Naga creatures thrust their weapons even deeper into Leslie's body, the Sin became glass. Aquarius's eyes widen as the glass body of the Sin shatter, the pieces vanishing into the air.
A few moments of silence had passed and no one said a word. The dimension Leslie created was still up, but his body had already vanished into thin air.
"He did it!" Christina cheered. She lowered her hand but Minos stood and raised both back. "What are you doing"
"You idiot, it's not done yet!" Minos yelled. "If he already defeated Leslie, we would go out from this dimension. Why didn't you think of that?"
"You still haven't fulfilled your condition," Leslie chuckled. "Terran, by making a deal with me in my dimension, you created a chain for me to stay."
"Argh!" Minos groaned. "Wrong call, Aki. By creating a deal with him, Leslie may never die or be altered unless the conditions of the deal is met."
"So, you mean Leslie is practically immortal?!" Christina gasped. "What has Aquarius done? Didn't he know?"
Minos shrugged. "I don't know. I guess we'll see later on."
From nothingness, small specks of glass formed Leslie's body. He raised his fan and opened it to cover his face, slightly bowing, "This is a very helpful deal," Leslie said. "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have survived that attack."
With a snap of Leslie's fingers, the Naga summons of Aquarius became glass. The Sin opened his hands that shattered the glass Naga into pieces, assembling them to create new glass swords.
"But he was dead!" Christina gasped. There was an eerie feeling inside her that made her spin both shields faster. Leslie was beating a terrifying gaze that made all the hair in her body stood.
"I have to admit," Leslie smirked. "You are very powerful. But your strength isn't there quite yet. Us, the Sins are the children of the Abyss itself. We are the strongest creatures that roamed that god forsaken place."
"Already answering one of my questions," Aquarius chuckled. He shook his head and seemed to play with the bracelet on his wrist. He looked at Leslie and smirked, taking the bracelet off while a burst of aura exploded from him.
"God of the Sea's Wings," Aquarius whispered.
There was a deep blue aura that blasted from him after he removed the bracelet. The aura slowly shifted behind him, forming large butterfly-like wings.
"Crazy how this looks," Aquarius smirked. "Weren't you trapped in a butterfly form for thousands of years?"
"How dare you?!" Leslie screamed. From the large swords he made from the Naga creatures, he shoot all of them to Aquarius.
"Christina, release!" Aquarius yelled.
The girl inside the barrier took one second before she gasped and released control over the outer sphere. She looked at Minos who had a wide grin on his lips.
"Minos, but I thought the title would grant one of the three skills?" Christina tilted her head to the side. "Aquarius just used another skill from the three options, what is going on?"
"Aquarius is currently the strongest Adventurer in the kingdom," Minos said. "He simply earned that title thrice, gaining all three of the skills."
Christina's jaw dropped. She returned her attention at the two who were fighting, and gasped at the vast parade of magic.
Leslie's sword was so fast that anyone could miss it. They halted right before reaching Aquarius and spun, tryin to catch the man who was avoiding all attempts of the sword.
"Just die!" Leslie yelled. He slammed both his plams in front of it that made all the glass swords shattered into small diamond shapes. Intertwining its fingers, Leslie created a vortex from the small pieces of glass. "Die!"
The vortex caved in on Aquarius, forming a sphere and hardening to form a marble while the man was inside of it. Leslie panted, lowering his hands as he watched the blue haired man stuck inside the marble.
"Yes!" Leslie cheered. He looked at Aquarius through the clear marble, grinning proudly at himself.
The grin was wiped off from it face when he felt a tap on both its shoulder. Aquarius's hands were missing, but there wasn't any wound on his wrists. Instead, there was a bluish aura on where the hand was supposed to be.
Leslie slowly looked at his shoulders and saw both the hands there. He turned and saw a large pool of water behin him, forming a wall that had eyes and internal organs.
"I got you," Aquarius chuckled.
