“Really? Not a single one?” Mu Hu murmured.

“Yes, without Heaven World appearing.” Orchidcore added: “The seniors told me there was one likely candidate, Dugu Yuan.”

This name hovered above everyone currently - a legend who refused Dingtian’s offer to be his master.

Remember, Dingtian was believed to be immortal, one of the very few in this world including the three deceased immortals and Desolate Ancestor.

Therefore, becoming his disciple was a supreme honor. At the very least, there was a chance of becoming a supreme overlord or primal ancestor. The latter was already quite rare in Old World.

Most importantly, Dugu Yuan was a nobody during the initial offer. No one knew why he refused and all in all, he was the first to do so.

Without Dingtian’s teachings, he still became a primal ancestor due to his brilliance.

“Dugu Yuan has been missing for a long time.” Princess Chen whispered.

“Yes, I believe he is in Heaven World now after becoming a supreme overlord.” Orchidcore nodded.

Orchidcore and Monk Zhu had a perplexed expression.

Princess Chen’s expression changed after hearing this.

Orchidcore heard him and agreed. The confusing sentence might be a ploy to garner the princess’ attention.

“Tonight, we will leave for other spots in Old World after finishing.” Monk Zhu said.

“Tonight it is, I want to see what kind of evil is at work here.” Orchidcore nodded.

“Let’s build an altar?” Mu Hu suggested.

“We’re not exorcists in the mortal world, we don’t need an altar.” Princess Chen said.

“Yes, this isn’t a matter of ghosts, just some evil fiends. We just need to kill them.” Orchidcore said.

“It would be interesting if we can’t, it would be a great start to our training.” Monk Zhu eagerly said.

“Fellow Daoists, we start tonight. The issue is we don’t know what we are facing yet so please stay in a safe place during the battle.” Orchidcore said.

“No problem, no problem.” Li Xian agreed, having resigned to being unable to chase these fellas away. Otherwise, it would look rather suspicious.

“No fiends can survive that, am I right?” Monk Zhu embowed Mu Hu playfully.

“Of course, of course.” Mu Hu scratched his head and chuckled.
