Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 173: Celestial Tiers and Portalia’s Tragedy!

"Listen, young lads." The atmosphere around the garden was stale. Love, Life, Truth, Chaos Origin, and Majesty were discussing important matters a celestial should know with utter seriousness.

Truth was about to drop a bomb about the tragedy they, as the celestials of Portalia, have been going through.

"Soon, there will be a purge." He said.

"A purge of our celestials as a higher force doesn't allow us to have more than 10; thus, you have to be ready. Unfortunately, we can do nothing, and we don't know who will be purged; all we know is that we have been put under multiple limitations."

"The first limit is that we cannot have more than 10 celestials; the second is that we cannot reach higher than the High Celestial rank; we cannot become True Celestials." The truth was explained with a frown.

"Third, we cannot warn anybody about the bastard leading the world currently, the so called monarch of the beast tribe. Yes, don't be too surprised.

The one leading the world is a lackey of the anti-celestials." Alexander, who was shocked by the revelation and Leona, who was flabbergasted by the fact that their monarch was a spy of some kind of organization that was controlling the celestials like a slave, didn't even have a chance to ask questions before Truth was confirmed.

"They regularly check things out and see if no limit was broken; if it is, the one who broke it gets banished to the prison realm and stripped of all achievements, becoming a bare soul with nothing but experience and the might of a recently ascended Demi-Celestial.

Fate was trying to advance forward to the True Celestial Tier; however, he was found and banished." Truth's face expressed sadness and anger, but he quickly sighed and looked at the young celestials in front of him.

"This matters not for you; if they ever come here, they won't touch you at all; it's for their own good that 3 out of 10 celestials are demi-celestials."

"And they're most certainly informed by that traitor about your ascension, so it's only a matter of time before they get here."

"What does it take to kill the leader of this organization and end it once and for all?" Alexander asked, not liking the state his home world was in or the fact that his mother was in danger of getting banished and for a reason related to him.

"That guy is... unbeatable. He's a World Celestial." Truth shook his head while gritting his teeth.

"A world celestial?" Leona squinted her eyes. The reaction the 4 celestials had on their faces wasn't comforting at all. She was slightly confused about how Draco seemed to know everything about what was going on, but he was the first to ascend and he always seemed to know things nobody else does.

"Listen, my dear." Life took the parole as she came closer to Leona and caressed her hair and face.

"You don't have to worry about that right now. A world celestial is leagues above us." She said.

"Life, they need to know." Truth interfered; he deemed it better for them to know than not.

"What was the last tier I told you about a true celestial, right? I told you that they could not die, but that's not the full truth. They can be killed, but temporarily." Truth explained.

"Temporarily?" Alexander asked, confused.

"Yes. When a true celestial is killed, his body, soul, and mind are preserved. The achievements they have accumulated so far are all used as a chance to form what we call a celestial altar. This altar is nothing but a simple construct hidden within the veils of the endless expanses; it is said that nobody but the Great Mother can interact with them." Truth replied.

"In conclusion, when a celestial is killed, their existencial aspects are preserved within this altar, and it generally takes 300,000 years for a celestial to revive after dying, but, they don't suffer much other than their progress towards the next realm being reset, which by itself is catastrophique as that can be billions of years of work."

*Hiss* Leona and Alexander hissed as the consequences of dying with the ability to revive were truly harsh.

"This punishment stays true for all tiers above the true celestial, aside from the last one, which is of course a world celestial."

"Now what comes after a true celestial? It's the greater celestial tier; those who reach this rank and die only take 100,000 years to evolve, three times less than a true celestial. Then, after them, comes the supreme celestial tier, which takes just 10 thousand years to revive.

then there remains only a single tier after that, the last tier of the Heavenly Ranks, the world celestial." Truth turned serious.

"World celestials are special, very special. A regular world such as ours needs dozens, if not hundreds, of celestials of all ranks to protect it; however, a world celestial is enough to protect a world from any threat within the heavenly ranks." The tension between the group got even more serious, the atmosphere here alone could kill any regular Origin Emperor.

Leona looked at Draco and then at Alexander, trying to gauge if she was the only one feeling intimidated, Alexander was, in fact, worried, but Draco acted as if there was absolutely no problem.

"A world celestial's power isn't just limited to him; it covers the power of the entire world in addition to that of its denizens. He has the cumulative power of all these factors; that is how strong a world celestial can get.

If the world is large enough to have supreme celestials guarding it, then the celestials of that world will benefit from their powers too, making him completely impossible to beat. After all, how can you beat someone with your own powers yet uncomparably stronger than you?" The group frowned, young and old; everybody felt the danger.

"But fear not. The great mother is just and has made sure to balance everything."
