Volume 3.5 Chapter 40: Blinding Speed
Keith didn't expect his speed to increase so much. He felt light as a feather. Even so,
I don't think I'm going to make it. Keith's speed was incredible. But even with it, he could make it there in 30 minutes. At that time, Skar and the other dwarves could be defeated.
I need to pick up the pace even more! Keith double time as he continued to run.
"Rawr!" As he ran, there was a monster in his path.
"Get out of my way!" Keith swung his hand, slapping the monster away!
The monster was slapped away, slamming into a rock.
"Mir, where do I go?" Keith looked at the Samui,
"Po!"
"Left! Gotcha!" Keith quickly followed the lead of the snowball. As he continued to run,
"Negh!" Eh? Keith turned his head and was surprised to see the horse. It was the same horse he let free.
"Why are you here?!" Keith questioned. And the horse grunted at him. It remembered who he was.
"I have no time to talk with you. I need to head to the dungeon!" Keith stated. He had no time to deal with the horse.
"Ngeh!" The horse tilted its head before it nudged Keith.
"You want me to get on?!" Keith blinked a few times.
"Ngeh!" The horse nodded as it let Keith get on.
"Thank you! I will reward you later for helping me," Keith smiled.
"Ngeh!"
"Keep going straight!" Keith said. He could tell the horse was asking for directions. And the horse sped up! Blinding speed!
Keith quickly hugged the horse! He thought for sure he would fall off!
"Po!" Mir was surprised. Keith quickly hugged the snowball, or else he would have fallen off his shoulders.
Holy! Keith knew he was going to make it there in 10 minutes!
This horse was too fast! And he was right. It didn't take long before he arrived in front of the dungeon. It was a giant cave.
"So this is the dungeon," Keith stared at the cave. He turned to the horse,
"Thank you for everything." He took out an apple,
"Please take this,"
"Negh?" The horse was surprised. But it did take the apple.
"Mir, I need you to track them inside," Keith turned to Mir. The latter tracking abilities were more important than ever.
"Po!" Mir nodded as he led the way.
This was a rescue mission. Nothing more, nothing less. Keith quickly dashed into the cave.
"Po!" Right! Keith quickly turned his body. There were many large tunnels in there. Before long, he heard screaming.
...
The dwarves huddled up into one group. Their backs were against the walls, and their shields were raised up. What was in front of them were giant rock creatures.
"Hold the line, Men!" Skar shouted. But he knew it wouldn't be long before they were pushed back. A couple of his men were heavily injured. They couldn't leave this spot.
They were trapped there.
We need backup!
"The shield's breaking!" One of the dwarves yelled. He could hear the sound of the shield cracking.
Are we really going to lose this? Skar frowned. But as he continued to block the golem's attacks,
Eh? Why are there rocks flying? Skar saw from the back that rocks were flying in the air. Some golems turned their attention to what was going on in the back. However, they were sent flying as well! It didn't take long before the person arrived in front of the group,
"Yo!" Keith waved his hand.
"Why are you here?!" The dwarves were shocked to see that it was Keith!
"And where's the thank you?" Keith scoffed at them, "Tch! You guys can thank me later. I'm going to break us out of here,"
Keith swung his sword,
"Wait!" Are you trying to break your sword?! Those golems were made out of solid stone! An iron sword wouldn't dent it.
But what happened was something different. Keith sliced the golem in two!
"Huh? It felt weird," Keith looked down at his sword. It felt different from cutting a beast.
"..." Skar and the dwarf stayed silent before stating to a dwarf, "Hand him an axe,"
"Understood," A dwarf tossed an axe to Keith, "Kid, use this!"
"Huh?"
"This will help you cut the golem," Skar stated.
