You're My Only Star

Everyone in the room was quiet. The only thing they could hear about was the sound of Chen Yu Xi's crying voice. The boy continued to beg his mother to forget everything and leave with him.

The adults had a complicated look on their faces. The scene in front of them was just too heartbreaking. They could not watch this scene for a second longer.

Suddenly, they were all angry at Shi An Na. They could not understand just why would she do such a thing to her own son.

Shi An Na bit her lips as she looked at her son. "Yu Xi, don't cry. Didn't you tell me that you wanted daddy? I already look for a new daddy for you." She held her son on his shoulder and turned him around to look at Lu Xun. "You see... That's your new daddy."

Father Shi's expression turned uglier. At this time, he was convinced that his daughter has gone crazy. Otherwise, why would she say those words?

"No, Mommy, you're wrong." Chen Yu Xi broke away from his mother. He still remembered his conversation with that Auntie earlier. Chen Yu Xi was aware that what his mother wanted to do was wrong. "He cannot be my daddy. Mommy, you can't marry him."

"Why not? Who said that he can't be your daddy and I can't marry him?" Shi An Na grasped her son's arm and gripped it tightly, causing the boy to howl in pain.

Father Shi and Mother Shi tried to rescue their grandson, but Shi An Na was holding him too tight. They did not dare to pull their grandson lest they would hurt him more.

The situation in the station turned chaotic.

The policemen tried to calm Shi An Na but the woman would not listen.

"Anna, this is enough!"

The room turned silent. Everyone present turned their head to that voice and saw Lu Xun staring at Shi An Na in anger.

Shi An Na quickly released her grip on her son's arm. Seeing the angry look in Lu Xun's eyes made her shiver. In her life, Shi An Na had never seen him this angry.

Back then, when she had chosen to break up with him and gave him that breakup fee, Lu Xun was never this angry.

The policemen around them were on their guard as they watched Lu Xun walk over to Shi An Na. If something happened, they could still prevent the situation from getting worst.

Shi An Na gathered her courage and wanted to approach him. However, the dangerous look in his eyes was making her afraid. "Lu Xun..." She forced a smile. "You—"

"Don't you get it? Everything between us is impossible," Lu Xun spoke before Shi An Na could say anything. "I don't love you anymore."

The light in Shi An Na's eyes dimmed. Her gaze shifted to the woman beside Lu Xun and suddenly, a malicious glint appeared in her eyes.

It was all because of her!

Lu Xun used to love her but everything started to change when this woman had appeared. If this woman was not around then perhaps, Lu Xun would return to her side.

However, Shi An Na did not get to do anything to Song Xing Xing. Lu Xun had moved over and blocked his wife from Shi An Na's gaze.

"Everything between us has ended the moment you chose to marry Alan."

Shi An Na shook her head. Her mind whirled to come up with another reason. "No. You're wrong. Back then—"

"Back then, it was you who wanted to break up. You have made your choice. Moreover, I already knew everything between you and Alan. Alan had told me everything."

Hearing his words, Shi An Na finally shut up. Her steps staggered and her shoulders slumped as if she was finally giving up. Shi An Na could not believe that Lu Xun and Alan would meet. "No. You are wrong. He's lying. Whatever he told you isn't true."

"Stop it, please. Don't make up any more excuses."  Lu Xun heaved angrily. "Anna, you're the most selfish person I know. It was your own fault that you did not know how to cherish what you got. Don't blame it on someone else." Lu Xun took a deep breath to calm down his emotion. "You have tested my patience again and again. I have already given you your chances. This time, I won't tolerate you anymore. I will let you deal with my lawyer."

This time, Father Shi and Mother Shi's expressions changed as well. They could not help but wonder just what will happen to their daughter.

What she did this time was bad enough. The elderly couple had expected that this time, it would be more than receiving a lawyer's letter.

Father Shi turned to his daughter. "What are you waiting for? Anna... quickly apologized to Lu Xun. I already told you. This time, it was your fault." Seeing his lifeless expression on her daughter's face, Father Shi then turned to Lu Xun. "Lu Xun, don't do this. For the old-time sake..."

"I have already given her many chances," Lu Xun spoke as he looked at Father Shi. "But she continued to harass me and my wife. Mr. Shi, I can no longer tolerate your daughter's behavior. This time, do you know how bad your daughter's words had implicated me? My wife was hurt because of her action. Should I tolerate that as well? I'm sorry, but I can't do it. Mr. Shi, I advise you to bring your daughter and let her get some help."

Father Shi turned to his daughter, wanting to reprimand her. However, Lu Xun no longer wanted to care about them. He had said what he wanted to say and it was time to leave and never look back. Next, he will hand over everything to his lawyer.

Turning around, Lu Xun offered his hand to his wife. "Let's go home."

Song Xing Xing placed her hand into his and smiled.

With the policemen's escort, the couple walked out of the building.

The sky has long turned dark. As they stood at the entrance, Lu Xun turned to Zhang Yu Han and spoke, "Are you staying at my place tonight?"

"Don't worry about me. I'm staying at the hotel with my wife and kids." Zhang Yu Han smiled. 

Lu Xun chuckled as he remember that Zhang Yu Han and his wife could not stay apart from each other for too long. After Zhang Yu Han was involved in a car accident a few years ago, his wife worried and would accompany him whenever he needed to travel far.

"Moreover, I still have to wait for someone," Zhang Yu Han said.

A light flashed in Lu Xun's eyes. Earlier, Long Fei had already told him that Zhang Yu Han had called Alan over to Capital City. Shi An Na would be facing trouble. However, Lu Xun did not want to care about it.. He could not be soft-hearted.
