Chapter 333 – Nurse Xia Is An Interesting Person

After he had returned to his room, Huo Yun Chen was still unable to stop thinking about his conversation with Nurse Lin in the morning.

Huo Yun Chen was suspecting that the person who was playing 'Legend of the Sky' at the nurse's station two nights ago was Nurse Lin. However, it turned out that the person he was looking for was Nurse Xia.

Huo Yun Chen did not think that Nurse Xia seemed to be someone who would play games. The look on her face was always serious. This was the reason why he was convinced that the person who played the games two nights ago was Nurse Lin.

Huo Yun Chen snapped out of his trance and noticed that Xiao An was staring at him. He lowered his head and realized that he has been poking at the dishes for the last few minutes.

He quickly cleared his throat and picked up the meat in the bowl. "No. I was just thinking about something."

Xiao An nodded before he returned to peel some apples for Huo Yun Chen.

At this time, someone knocked on the door and entered.

The moment Huo Yun Chen saw Nurse Xia walk into the room, his expression began to change. His gaze followed the woman's movement as she picked up the clipboard to read his condition.

Xia Yu heaved a sigh, wondering why would this celebrity continue to stay in the hospital when he merely had sprained ankle. If he stayed at home, he could have saved a lot of money.

Rich people are really different.

Xia Yu shifted her gaze and noticed that Huo Yun Chen moving his gaze away from her.

The man was clearly observing her but pretended that he was not doing anything when he saw that she was looking.

Her brow shot up, wondering what was this man up to.

Her lips moved to speak, but after a while, Xia Yu decided not to say anything. She moved to look at the swelling around his ankle and saw that it was slowly recovering.

At least, he had listened to her and had not walked around with his injured feet.

Someone came to knock on the door again. A while later, a tall and handsome man stood in front of the door.

This was the VVIP ward and not just anyone could come over.

Xia Yu frowned when she had not recognized this man. She had seen Huo Yun Chen's manager before and knew that this person was not the manager. If this person turned out to be a troublemaker, Xia Yu was ready to fight him.

"President Lu?" Huo Yun Chen called. His tone of voice showed his shock at finding that his big boss standing at the door.

Moreover, this big boss was bringing along a basket of fruits. He was just a talent under NEXT Bright Entertainment. Why would this big boss come to visit him?

Xia Yu's gaze went back to Huo Yun Chen. Seeing that they know each other, Xia Yu quickly looked away to put back the clipboard to its place.

Lu Xun swept his gaze around the room. Once he was sure that there was nothing unsuitable in the room, Lu Xun turned around and pulled out a girl behind him.

Huo Yun Chen's eyes lit up when he recognized the girl. "Little Star?"

Xia Yu's hand shook when she heard that name. The clipboard in her hand dropped onto the floor. Xia Yu bent down and picked up the clipboard. "I'm sorry." Her eyes shifted back to look at the girl, observing her.

Fortunately, Huo Yun Chen's focus was on the two guests and he had not noticed that there was something wrong with the way Xia Yu had reacted.

"Are you here to visit me?" Huo Yun Chen made a move to get off the bed. Seeing that his big boss had arrived, he did not feel comfortable sitting in his bed.

However, before he could make a move, someone had already gripped his arms.

Huo Yun Chen turned around and saw that Nurse Xia was staring at him with an unhappy look in her eyes.

"You're an injured man. What are you trying to do?"

"That's right. Listen to the nurse." Song Xing Xing trailed into the room with Lu Xun. "Just stay in your bed."

Lu Xun passed the basket of fruits to the male caretaker. He then walked over closer to the bed and peeked at Huo Yun Chen's injured legs. Seeing the bluish mark around the man's ankle made him frown.

Looking at the color would make him think of how painful the injury was.

"President Lu, Little Star, please have a seat."

Lu Xun looked up and turned to his fiance. Initially, he had no plan to bring her to visit Huo Yun Chen. However, he had listened to Song Xing Xing about his past injury and how Huo Yun Chen had almost given up on his career.

The girl was already engaged to him and their family would be discussing their marriage in a few weeks. Lu Xun thought that he did not have any reason to be jealous of the two's relationship. Thinking that the girl is worried about her friend, Lu Xun decided to bring Song Xing Xing along to visit Huo Yun Chen.

"President Lu, I did not expect that you would come and visit me in person." Huo Yun Chen's tone was very polite and respectful as he spoke with Lu Xun.

"You are top talent under NEXT Bright. I should make time to visit you," Lu Xun said. "How is your injury? Getting better?"

At the side, Xia Yu continued to observe the situation in the room for a while before she finally made her escape. Xia Yu pushed the door that lead to the fire escape.. She leaned back on the wall and took a deep breath to calm down.
