You're My Only Star

After having their breakfast with Lu Xun's parents, the couple decided to go out and walk around the city.

When they walked out the door, Lu An Ran was already waiting for them. She was leaning on the MPV while dangling a set of keys. "Brother, I'll lend you this for a few days."

Lu Xun grabbed the keys from his sister and chuckled. "Thank you. I'll return the vehicle in a good condition." He opened the passenger's seat and let Song Xing Xing sit inside.

When he turned to his sister again, Lu Xun's expression turned serious.

"Brother, you know that Anna had a lot of friends in C Country. After all, she had spent a few years here," Lu An Ran said. "It should be her friends who disclosed the news that our parents had returned. Soon, she's going to hear that you are in C Country and when that happens..."

Lu An Ran did not have to finish her words. Lu Xun had already known that Shi An Na was going to find him when she found out.

However, Lu Xun did not want Song Xing Xing to run into Shi An Na.

They came to C Country to relax and have fun. He did not want his fiance to be upset.

Lu An Ran heaved a sigh when she saw the frown on her brother's face. "Brother, you have to be careful."

Shi An Na had lived in C Country for years. Lu An Ran was worried that she was going to find a few of her friends and bullied her sister-in-law.

"I know." Lu Xun patted his sister on the shoulder. Then, he walked around the vehicle and slid into the driver's seat.

"What did you and An Ran talk about?"

"An Ran gave a few recommendations and told me a few interesting places we should be visiting." He leaned over and bopped her nose. "Wear your seatbelt. We're going now."

Lu Xun decided to take her to a few popular attraction places in the city. Holding hands, the two of them walked on the streets together to visit a few historical buildings and admire their architecture.

Although Song Xing Xing used to travel around, this was her first time in C Country. As they walked around, Song Xing Xing could not stop snapping a few pictures here and there.

Once they were tired after walking around, Lu Xun took her to a cafe to rest.

The pastries in C Country were popular. Song Xing Xing could not resist wanting to taste everything. However, thinking that her mother-in-law was preparing a feast at home, Song Xing Xing decided to hold back.

As she was drinking her coffee, Song Xing Xing decided to check on the photos in her picture gallery.

Suddenly, there were tons of pictures of her and Lu Xun together. Each of them was very sweet and intimate.

Song Xing Xing looked at the picture and had this feeling as if they were a couple on their honeymoon...

The thought made her cheek blush and her heartbeat accelerated.

Song Xing Xing quickly reminded herself not to let her mind wander.

"Are you cold?" Lu Xun cupped her cheek with both hands.

C Country was a little colder than Capital City. Lu Xun was a little worried about Song Xing Xing's health.

"I'm fine." She raised the phone in her hand and showed a few pictures of them together in her attempt to change the subject. "Look at this. What do you think?"

Lu Xun glanced at the photo and nodded. "Un. You look cute in this one." He leaned to peck on her lips and smiled. "Of course, the person in front of me is cuter."

His compliment managed to make her face turn redder.

Song Xing Xing lowered her head and pretended to be looking at the photos again. After choosing a few of the photos, Song Xing Xing posted them on her moments.

A few minutes after the photos were posted, the phone in her hand buzzed. Her eyes lit up upon seeing that it was her mother.

Song Xing Xing mouthed to Lu Xun that it was her mother before she picked up the call.

"Mom?" Song Xing Xing greeted as soon as the phone call was connected.

"Xing Xing, are you going out to play with Lu Xun?" Ye Ling Feng asked.

She saw the photos that her daughter had posted and decided to give her a call.

"Un." Song Xing Xing glanced at the man beside her and smiled. "Lu Xun took me to look at a few places." She continued to tell her mother about the places they visited and the food she ate.

Ye Ling Feng heaved a sigh. "It's good that you're having fun."

Song Xing Xing heard brief rustling sounds on her mother's part before someone spoke again. "Xing Xing, what about Lu Xun's parents? Are they nice to you?"

Of course, the person who asked this was Song Chen.

When he saw the picture that his daughter posted, Song Chen urged his wife to give her daughter a call. He became impatient and was worried that someone might bully his little girl.

Song Xing Xing was a little startled upon hearing her father's voice. Hearing his anxious tone, Song Xing Xing began to giggle. "Dad, don't worry. Lu Xun's parents were very nice to me."

Noticing Lu Xun's gaze, Song Xing Xing tilted her head up and saw him raising a brow at her.

"It's my dad," Song Xing Xing mouthed.

Lu Xun chuckled, knowing well what his father-in-law was worrying about. He stretched up his hand to pinch her cheek and whispered, "You go and talk to your parents first. I'll go to the counter and pay the bills first."

Song Xing Xing nodded before she continued to talk to her parents.

Once Song Xing Xing mentioned Lu Xun's parents' intention to visit her parents in a month, both Song Chen and Ye Ling Feng could not hide their surprise.

"Why are they coming over this quick?" Song Chen asked. Thinking about the person who wanted to take his daughter away, Song Chen became unhappy again.

"Dad, you also know that Lu Xun's father is usually busy with his research," Song Xing Xing found an excuse. "It was not easy for them to find time to return to the country."

Song Chen heaved a sigh upon hearing this reason.

Meanwhile, Ye Ling Feng started to panic upon hearing that her daughter's in-laws were coming to visit. It seemed that there were a lot of things that she have to prepare.

Song Xing Xing continued to chat with her parents for a while.

When the call ended, Song Xing Xing realized that Lu Xun had not returned to the table. Song Xing Xing scanned her surroundings and finally saw his silhouette outside the cafe.

Lu Xun was seen speaking to a brown-haired man with a serious look on his face.
