As he walked into his office, his assistant, Bei Yuan, closed the door behind him and started to read him the report.

In the past few days, Bright Entertainment Agency has been busy fighting against those malicious netizens who wanted to slender Huo Yun Chen.

Those who were attacking Huo Yun Chen online were surprised when they had received the letters from the lawyer.

A few years ago, they had also posted something similar to this. Back then, they were so ruthless to attack Huo Yun Chen when he was down.

However, Huo Yun Chen's previous agency had not taken any action against them. Now that Huo Yun Chen is back in the entertainment agency, they had thought that the new agency would not help Huo Yun Chen as his reputation in the industry was already that bad.

Who would have guessed that this new agency would dare to spend so much time and money just to help Huo Yun Chen?

In the end, Yan Yi Xie's fans had no other choice but to lay down and not cause any trouble.

Lu Xun nodded with satisfaction upon hearing the report. He was about to look at his computer again but halted when he recalled another matter. "That's right. Bei Yuan, have someone to look into Huo Yun Chen's accident a few years ago."

Special Assistant Bei Yuan was surprised when he heard his boss's instruction but quickly nodded and jot down everything in his notebook.

Just then, someone knocked on the door.

Lu Xun gave his permission and soon a secretary popped his head at the door.

"President Lu, Director Fei from NEXT Bright Agency, and that celebrity, Huo Yun Chen is here to see you."

Lu Xun pondered over it for a while before he told the secretary to let the two of them wait in the meeting room. After giving a few instructions to Bei Yuan, he then left the room to look for the two of them.

Both Huo Yun Chen and Director Fei stood up upon seeing their big boss's arrival.

Lu Xun motioned them to sit down and asked, "Why did you two come over to look for me?"

Director Fei hesitated for a while before he turned to Huo Yun Chen. "President Lu, Huo Yun Chen came to me this morning and said that he wanted to pull away from our agency. I don't think that it was a good decision. I advised him to rethink his decision but he won't listen. I told him to find you and listen to your opinion first."

Lu Xun pushed his glasses on his nose bridge and shifted his gaze to Huo Yun Chen.

Huo Yun Chen straightened his body and spoke, "President Lu, I have caused a lot of trouble for the company. I wish to pull out from the agency. I know that I will have to pay my penalty. But this is something that I wished to do."

His gaze flickered. Huo Yun Chen was worried that if he stayed longer with the agency, Yan Yi Xie will do something to harm him again. Then, he will implicate everyone in the agency.

Although he has only been with NEXT Bright Agency for a couple of years, Huo Yun Chen gets along with everyone well. He did not want anyone to suffer because of him.

It was enough that he had to suffer a few years ago.

When he saw on the internet that the netizen was scolding the company and the artists under them, Huo Yun Chen felt guilty.

However, the PR team had worked hard to clear his name. In the past, he had never received such treatment and could only defend himself. Huo Yun Chen found that he was not used to this treatment.

NEXT Bright Agency was so good to him but Huo Yun Chen did not think that he is worth it.

It's better if he leaves the company earlier and did not make things difficult for others.

"Mr. Huo, are you thinking that our agency is not proficient enough to protect you?" Lu Xun asked.

There was a look of surprise on Huo Yun Chen's face. He recovered quickly and spoke, "President Lu, that s not what I meant."

"You did not make any mistake. Why do you want to leave?" Lu Xun asked. "Mister Huo, as long as you are willing to work hard, obeyed the company's policy, and did not do anything that would cause harm to our agency, we will continue to protect you. Since we have decided to sign with you, this is what the company is supposed to do. You can be assured that the company won't give up easily on you."

Huo Yun Chen froze upon hearing Lu Xun's words. Something warm spread from his heart and that sensation went all through his body. His hand clenched into a fist as he began to hesitate about his initial decision.

The phone in his hand started to buzz. Lu Xun glanced at the screen before he stood up.

"Huo Yun Chen, I suggest you go home and think over this matter again. If you are still determined with your decision tomorrow, then I won't change your mind even if you decided to leave" Lu Xun said. "If there is something that you are not satisfied with, you can talk to us." He excused himself and walked out, leaving the man to think over his decision.

Director Fei heaved a sigh when he saw the hesitant look on Huo Yun Chen's face. He really did not want the agency to lose Huo Yun Chen at this moment.

After all, the agency was still new and Huo Yun Chen was one of the agency's assets. It would be bad to lose him this early.

Director Fei stood up again when he seemed to recall something. He stood up and chased after his boss. "President Lu."

Lu Xun was staring at the messages on his phone when he heard Director Fei's voice. "Yes?"

"That ..." Director Fei walked over. "There will be a meeting with a few investors in B City. President Lu, will you be joining us as well?"

Lu Xun thought about the Director's words and recalled that there are some people that he wanted to meet during the meeting as well. He looked at his phone again and nodded. "I'll be joining this meeting. Director Fei, please remind my assistant about this meeting as well."

Director Fei began to smile. During this meeting, a few of the company's newbies will come over to meet their investors. Director Fei was hoping that with their big boss's presence, the investors will give them some face and decided to work with the newbies.. Now that President Lu had decided to join them, he could be at ease.
