In the morning...

As soon as she entered the dining area, Song Chen sat in his usual place and began to eat his breakfast. At the side, his wife was still reporting about her activities for the day.

Song Chen raised the phone in his hand and showed what was on the screen to his wife. "You look at this. Your daughter got married without telling us. She had gone and obtained a marriage certificate on her own!"

"What do you mean? Xing Xing would not do such a thing."

"Go and look at it yourself. Your daughter had even posted about this marriage in her moments!" Song Chen grew angry as he thought that her daughter was tempted by that wild man and got married behind her family's back.

Hearing her husband's words, Ye Ling Feng grew anxious as well. She took the phone from her husband and scrolled the page.

Her anxiety dissipated the moment she saw the post that her husband had mentioned.

"What are you talking about?" Ye Ling Feng heaved a sigh. "Honey, are you not awake yet? You look at her post carefully. Your daughter was talking about a game, alright? This isn't a real marriage certificate."

"What?" Song Chen took his phone and checked at the post once again. Now that he was a lot calmer, Song Chen realized that the marriage certificate that her daughter had posted was not something that one would obtain from the Civil Bureau Affair.

Song Chen let out a cough to hide his embarrassment.

Earlier, he saw the captioned that her daughter had posted and he had quickly assumed that her daughter had gotten married behind everyone's back.

"You scared me!" Ye Ling Feng patted her chest. "Next time, you should look at it carefully. Just focus on one task at a time. You are no longer that young. How can you focus while multitasking?"

Song Chen listened to his wife's nagging and decided not to say a word lest he would get himself into trouble.

His eyes narrowed as he silently scolded her daughter for making such a post.

Song Xing Xing stared at her computer screen and heaved another sigh. Her eyes were on the computer screen but his mind was somewhere else.

Noticing the abnormal way that her friend was acting, Liu Yu Sheng slid in her chair until she reached Song Xing Xing's side. "Xing Xing, what's wrong with you? You won't stop sighing for a long time. Be careful that you would drive away your good lick and attract all kinds of bad things."

Song Xing Xing pursed her lips and reminded herself to stop sighing.

"Yesterday, my boyfriend had suddenly mentioned marriage."

"Wait. Xing Xing, you are not talking about the game's new feature right?" Liu Yu Sheng recalled seeing her friend's post in her moments and thought that she was speaking about the game.

"No. This is not about the game."

Liu Yu Sheng gasped when she realized that it was a real thing. "He proposed?"

"I don't think he is. At least, he told me that it was not a proposal," Song Xing Xing said. "He said that he just wanted to know what was my opinion on getting married."

"Xing Xing, are you thinking about getting married?"

"Hmm..." Song Xing Xing pulled at the corner of her shirt. "Previously, I haven't given it a serious thought."

"Then, how did you answer him?"

"I didn't." Song Xing Xing lowered her head. "In the end, I did not say a thing and he told me to forget it. Yu Sheng, do you think he might be disappointed?"

Liu Yu Sheng pursed her lips. "It would be a lie to say that he would not be disappointed. I mean, if he really likes you and wanted to marry you, he would be disappointed when you did not share the same opinion as him. However, Xing Xing, what matters most is what you think. If you did not want to marry him, then, you should tell it to him."

"Well, this is the thing." Song Xing Xing bit at her lips. "Last night, after he had left, I have given this matter thought about it for a long time. It's not that I don't plan on getting married or having no interest in marrying him. I do want to get married in the future."

Lu Xun had hidden it well but Song Xing Xing could still detect his disappointment when he left her apartment last night. He might think that she had no intention of marrying him.

However, his question was too sudden and she could not give him an answer right then.

There are a lot of things to consider before she gets married. After all, a marriage is something that one would want to experience once in a lifetime.

Although she had only spent her time thinking about it for a few hours, Song Xing Xing thought that if it was with Lu Xun, she would be willing to say yes. She loved him enough that she was willing to spend the rest of her life with him.

Song Xing Xing thought that if he had asked again, she would say yes.
