The waiters left after serving the food on the table.

Perhaps, it was because they had met before, both Song Xing Xing and Lu An Ran had no problem getting used to each other. The moment they started to talk, they were able to discuss a lot of things.

Most of the time, it was Lu An Ran who asked questions on their relationship and Song Xing Xing would answer them.

Lu Xun stayed at the side peeling prawn skin and stacking the flesh on a clean plate. Once he had finished removing them all, he pushed the plate in front of Song Xing Xing.

The conversation between the two girls stopped suddenly.

Both girls were staring at the plate of prawns with a dazed look in their eyes.

The two of them has been ignoring Lu Xun for so long that they finally noticed him and the plate of prawns he had peeled for his girlfriend..

Lu An Ran shifted her gaze between the plate of prawn shells, the prawn flesh, and then, to her brother. Once she figured out what was happening, Lu An Ran quickly recovered from her trance and laughed, making Song Xing Xing a little shy.

"It's good to see that the two of you have such a good relationship," Lu An Ran teased.

Song Xing Xing suddenly had the urge to bury her head under the ground. She did not think that she could get used to people teasing her.

Peeling a plate of prawns and leaving them all to her... This was a little excessive, isn't it?

"What are you doing?" Lu Xun spoke. "Just eat them. My sister doesn't like them that much. So, you don't have to worry about it."

Lu An Ran looked at her brother in disbelief.

Who said that she did not like prawns that much? She liked prawns just fine. Why doesn't he peel even one shrimp for his sister? What kind of brother is he?

Lu An Ran wanted to complain, but seeing the shy look on his girlfriend's face, Lu An Ran decided not to say anything. If she continued to tease her, what would she do if her brother's girlfriend ran away?

Seeing the faint smile that continued to stay on her brother's face was enough to let Lu An Ran know how much her brother liked Song Xing Xing.

Since he was serious about Song Xing Xing, Lu An Ran decided to give them her full support.

Lu An Ran spoke about her son and heaved a sigh. "My son should be at school at this time. Or else, I would video call him and let him look at you. Jia Xuan would be surprised to see that his uncle is dating you."

Song Xing Xing smiled as she thought about Huo Yun Chen's little fan.

After chatting with Lu Xun's sister for a while, Song Xing Xing began to relax.

Before she came to meet her, Lu Xun had told her that they would be able to hit it off after they met. Song Xing Xing did not think that Lu Xun's words would be true.

"Right. I am planning to stay in Capital City for a few more days," Lu An Ran said. "My brother is always busy with his company and I did not have many friends in here. Xing Xing, how about accompanying me to shop around when you're free?"

Lu Xun frowned when he heard her words. "Nonsense. I'm not always busy with my company. If you wanted to go anywhere, you can just tell me. I can always let Bei Yuan look after the company."

Lu An Ran sigh as she was pitying her brother's assistant.

How could he stay so long working for her unreasonable brother?

"It doesn't matter. Brother, since you have a girlfriend now, of course, you have to work hard to make more money," Lu An Ran said. "Anyway, I'm planning to borrow your girlfriend to accompany me shopping. Brother, you can't come along." She turned to Song Xing Xing again and flashed a smile. "What do you think?"

Song Xing Xing laughed as she watched the siblings exchanged. The two of them were older than her. However, the way they act around each other was almost the same as her and her brother, Song Wei.

Sensing that Lu An Ran did not mean anything other than to hang around with her, Song Xing Xing quickly agreed. She glanced at Lu Xun and shot him a look to tell him that she would be fine.

Lu Xun frowned. He liked that his sister and his girlfriend can get along fine. However, his instinct was telling him that he should not trust his sister that much.

After pondering for a while, Lu Xun turned to his sister and spoke, "You are not allowed to tell Xing Xing any nonsense."

Lu An Ran agreed but gave Song Xing Xing a wink when her brother looked away.

When two girls get together, they are going to talk about a lot of things. She can't promise that she would not accidentally mention any embarrassing story about her brother.

After having their dinner together, the three of them left the restaurant together. Lu Xun sent Song Xing Xing back to her apartment and parked at his usual spot. He unbuckled his seatbelt and turned to his sister. "An Ran, wait here for a moment. I'll just head upstairs to send Xing Xing to her door."

"It's fine. You don't need to escort me to my door." Song Xing Xing laughed. "This place is very safe."

Lu Xun stared at her but did not answer.

"Xing Xing, just let him send you to your door. What's the use of having a boyfriend if he could not send you back safely to your door?" Lu An Ran said. "It's fine. I can wait in the car."

Song Xing Xin sighed, After saying goodbye to Lu An Ran and promised to meet her again in a few days, Song Xing Xing walked into the building and entered the elevator with Lu Xun following her closely.

"Your sister is very easy to get along with," Song Xing Xing commented as they were alone.

"Mhm..." He touched the tip of her nose and spoke, "You just worried too much."

Because there was no one else in the elevator, the two of them quickly arrived at Song Xing Xing's floor. Once they arrived at her door, Lu Xun watched her as she unlocked the door and switched on the light.

Mr. Fluffball's voice could be heard coming from the living area. The cat seemed to notice Lu Xun's presence and ran over to the door. He looked at Lu Xun with his round eyes as if waiting for his papa to pick him up.

Unfortunately for Mr. Fluffball, Lu Xun was in a hurry. Lu Xun wrapped his arms around Song Xing Xing's waist and bent down to capture her lips into a kiss.

He had waited for so long to kiss her. Because his sister was around, he could only wait until they were alone.
