You're My Only Star

Sing Xing Xing lamented that she was too slow to stop Lu Xun from opening the door.

She should have known that the person who would come over to her apartment to find her early morning would not be someone simple. The last time, it was her brother who had showed up at her apartment, giving her a surprise. This time, it was Song Yi.

Song Xing Xing had the urge to hide in her room and never came out again.

Unfortunately for her, Song Yi had already stepped into her apartment. He stopped in front of the dining area and stared at her with a blank look in his eyes.

A frown appeared on his face as Song Yi continued to look at the injury on her ankle. Pulling a chair, Song Yi then sat across his cousin. "Last night, someone had recognized you at the hospital."

Song Xing Xing looked at her cousin in horror.

"Don't worry. That person is a good friend of mine," Song Yu quickly explained. "He saw you at the hospital and told me that you were injured. I tried to call you when I found out, but your phone was off. Your sister-in-law was afraid that you might pass out while living alone."

Song Xing Xing wondered if it was not because of her sister-in-law, would this cousin be concern about her?

"It's good to see that you're breathing and well."

The corner of her lips twitched at his words. She wondered if she was blood-related to this person.

"Now," Song Yi sat up straight. "What's going on with you two?" He looked at Lu Xun and asked, "What is President Lu Xun doing in my cousin's apartment early this morning?"

One glance at Lu Xun, Song Yi was able to tell that he did not come to see Song Xing Xing early in the morning like him. Looking at the slight crease on his white shirt as well as his unkempt hair, Song Yu had guessed that Lu Xun should stay a night at her cousin's apartment.

A man and a woman staying the night together. What else didn't he understand about?

"That…" Song Xing Xing spoke before Lu Xun could say a word. "President Lu was with me when I accidentally injured myself. He was worried, that's why he stayed to look after me."

Song Yi thought that her words were nothing but gibberish. If he wanted to look after his cousin, there are a lot of ways he could have done so. He did not have to stay the night.

As the thought came to her mind, Song Yi turned his head to Lu Xun. This time, he was waiting for Lu Xun's explanation.

"I am seeing your cousin."

"What are you going to talk to him about?" Song Xing Xing was worried that her cousin might be here to make trouble. Suddenly, she was worried about Lu Xun. What if her cousin spoke something that would make Lu Xun leave her?

Seeing that his cousin stayed unmoving, Song Yi narrowed his eyes, warning her to quickly made a move. "What are you afraid of? It will only take five minutes at most."

Facing her cousin's fierce gaze, Song Xing Xing lowered her head, admitting her defeat. She did not dare to do anything against Song Yi. This person is just too scary. "I can't move. My ankle is still injured."

Song Yi chuckled at her excuse. From the corner of his eyes, he watched as Lu Xun stood up and supported her cousin to return to her bedroom.

Lu Xun returned to the dining table and sat across Song Yi. The two of them sat like that without saying anything for a long time. Lu Xun was aware that at this time, Song Yi was scrutinizing his every move.

Lu Xun sat up straight. "I know. You can rest assured. I am serious about Song Xing Xing.. I won't do anything to hurt her."
