Chapter 304 - Language.......
The shark deliberately swam straight towards the little boat sending Xiaoyu flying in the collision. She came crashing down with a big splash but before she could even gather herself she was met face to face by the jaws of death. Faced with jaws wide enough to fit two adults Xiaoyu was mortified. Was she going to die like this? Was her life going to end just like this?
Thinking of that smiling face she thought to herself it was worth it. It was all worth it and she regretted nothing except not dragging Rui Fei down to hell with her. Resigning to her fate she closed her eyes with her limbs sprawled out. The shark happily ate its prey closing its large jaws.
As it closed its mouth one of its sharp teeth bit into Xiaoyu's skin and her blood dyed the water in this beast's mouth. Darkness descended on Xiaoyu closing the short chapter of her life but before the shark could tear her flesh into shreds, a bright gem suddenly appeared on Xiaoyu's forehead and shone brightly in those jaws.
Oblivious to what was happening inside its mouth the shark swam victoriously only to feel a sharp pain before its face was torn apart from within. Xiaoyu had torn the flesh of the shark from the inside as her seraphic energy forcibly flowed in her aetherial veins.
After shooting out of the shark's head she hovered above the water her glowing eyes glowering at the shark with a gushing wound on its head flailing around in pain while seeking the culprit.
Xiaoyu who wasn't exactly her usual self gathered seraphic energy at her foot and just like a martial artist she spun around before throwing a flying kick at the shark. Her seraphic energy slashed the shark's body in half in one swoop.
As the two halves sank at the bottom of the sea, Xiaoyu's body suddenly jerked as her heart stopped beating midair. Her eyes dimmed as she fell from the sky. The next time she opened her eyes she was on a boat with a man struggling to pry the crystal bottle out of her hand. How could she let this man take something this important to her?
Her eyes shone a dark green colour with a gaze so menacing that the man felt a chill down his spine. But before he could react a hand directly pierced his back and impaled his body raising it into the air. Blood flowed down her arm but she didn't care.
"Filthy thief," she said before tossing his body into the sea with no care. With her bloodied hand she brushed her hair back leaving a conspicuous red stain in her hair but she seemed unbothered. She took down the sails, pulled up the anchor of the small boat her eyes devoid of a soul.
Not once did she let go of that crystal bottle. It was as though she was reborn the moment she tore out of that shark. As the boat sailed towards the shore, she finally washed her hands and wiped away the blood. She had a mission in mind and having realized she could never take Rui Fei down on her own she had to seek out help.
As she approached the shore she jumped off the boat after ransacking the dead fisherman's things. With a few coins in her possession, she left not even bothering to anchor it and walked in the water that was reaching her knees. When she stepped on the sandy beach, the smile on her face grew. She had survived and she came back to take what is hers.

Back at Lequ, Rui Fei had no idea his love rival was resilient enough to survive and vowed to come for him with all she got. He was busy looking at the map the overseer had brought forth. It wasn't necessarily the map he was interested in but the fingers that were drawing something on the map.
Ji Yao was seriously asking questions with a focused look on his face adding browny points to his charm. One can understand why Rui Fei failed to concentrate in the presence of a scrumptious meal he wanted a taste of after being starved for a long time.
His thirst was a little obvious because he kept staring at Ji Yao with an intense gaze while subconsciously moving closer to touch his hand. Huishe Yue on the other hand couldn't keep watching this. At this rate, his nephew was going to make his love interest lose interest in him too soon.
Obviously, this was none of his business but watching this cub make mistake after mistake he thought he should take him to the side and give advice like a good uncle should. Hope his advice would be good considering his precious bride had an affair with the enemy before their wedding.
Lan Wu also noticed Huishe Yue's weird gaze so he nudged him and said, "What are you staring at? Stop staring it's weird."
Huishe Yue glance over at Lan Wu before looking back at his clingy nephew. As though struck by a sudden thought he turned to look at Lan Wu with his finger on his chin and asked, "Don't you think he is a little clingy? I mean..... won't Ji Yao lose interest in him quickly."
'Says the guy who clings to me like a toddler,' thought Lan Wu and it remained so, a thought he would never say out loud but unfortunately, his expression sold him out.
As always Huishe Yue noticed and pointed at him while whispering, "That..... what did you just think about?"
"Huh?" replied Lan Wu playing dumb.
"Just now, you thought of something. What was it? Where you scolding or mocking me? Which one is it?" inquired Huishe Yue walking a little closer. The distance between them was getting smaller and smaller making Lan Wu feel a little uncomfortable yet excited at the same time. He liked it when Huishe Yue got riled up as it somehow got his blood boiling.
"Geez, we know you can't resist flirting but do it somewhere else. We already went blind from these two," said Old Du who was sitting at the corner of the room.
Huishe Yue casually glanced at him but his gaze shifted back to Lan Wu his expression saying, "You better spill your guts later."
Rui Fei who had somehow been roped into a discussion that had nothing to do with him smirked as he said, "How can they compare to us? We are obviously much more blinding than they are."
As he said this his hand snuck up behind Ji Yao's waist but before he could land successfully he was ruthlessly smacked echoing a loud resounding Pa!
He withdrew his hand but the culprit didn't even look at him. Ji Yao kept a serious face as he studied the map. Just as the ignored Rui Fei wanted to express his grievances the door was suddenly pushed open and the crew members who had gone to take a look came back with a bucket load of sweat from all the pursuit and a sack which they placed on the table.
Ji Yao beckoned them to open the sack and the contents were poured out. Rui Li, "What the fuck is that?"
The two brothers simultaneously reprimanded her.
Rui Yewan, "language....."
Rui Fei, "language..."
Rui Li, "...."
