Chapter 740: Beauties Angry At Their Husbands

Chapter 740: Beauties Angry At Their Husbands

David Langston's mind was in disarray. Every day he watched as the value of Langston Industries fell further, while VoltX Innovations and Blake Robotics soared. Both Charlotte Mason and Sarah Blake had somehow managed to release products that mirrored what Langston Industries had been planning. It wasn't just frustrating-it was infuriating. Their timing was impeccable, launching project after project before he could. The market was being rapidly occupied, and with each passing day, Langston Industries' influence dwindled.

The thing that disturbed David most was how these two companies seemed to always know exactly what Langston was planning. Their marketing strategies were eerily similar to his own company's proposals. It was as if someone had a direct line into his brain, feeding information to his competitors.

Still, Langston Industries was a large tech conglomerate, and while these blows caused considerable damage, they weren't enough to destroy the company. Not yet, anyway. But if things continued this way, the future looked grim.

Desperate, David decided to investigate. He had a suspicion that something wasn't right. How were Charlotte and Sarah always one step ahead? He dug into both companies, trying to find any sign of foul play or a mole within his own ranks. But nothing concrete surfaced.

His frustration mounted. So, in a fit of rage, David turned to a darker path. He used his connections in the underworld to strike back, to cause as much damage as possible to Voltx Innovations and Blake Robotics. He didn't care about the consequences-he just wanted to hurt them, to make them pay.

David hired several gangs across the United States, including the infamous **Skull Syndicate** and the **Iron Talons**, both notorious for their brutal methods. Their orders were clear: attack showrooms, offices, and even threaten employees and distributors. Anything to disrupt the operations of Charlotte and Sarah's companies.

The assaults were relentless. In the first wave, showrooms were trashed, windows smashed, and products destroyed. Offices were broken into, files stolen, and property damaged. Employees were threatened at gunpoint, some beaten, others too terrified to return to work. The message was clear: VoltX and Blake Robotics were being targeted. The attacks even extended to key distributors, who soon began withdrawing their support out of fear.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

It wasn't long before the violence escalated further. Even the homes of Charlotte and Sarah were attacked. Fortunately, these assaults were not as severe, but they were frightening enough to send a clear message.

Charlotte had been home when the attack happened. Late at night, she heard a series of explosions outside. Her heart raced as she rushed to the window, only to see her security team spring into action. Several men had tried to force their way onto her property, throwing makeshift explosives at her gates. Thankfully, the security was prepared and quickly neutralized the threat. But the sight of flames flickering outside her mansion was something she wouldn't forget.

Back inside, her husband erupted. He had been growing distant for weeks, but this attack pushed him over the edge. "This is insane, Charlotte!" he yelled, pacing angrily through the living room. "Do you realize what you've gotten us into? This isn't just business anymore- our lives are in danger!"

Charlotte, still shaken, tried to reason with him. "I didn't ask for this! This is about my company, not us!"

"Not us?" He turned on her, his eyes filled with anger. "Your company is more important than us, than our family! You never listen. You never think about what your success is costing us!"

Her frustration boiled over. "Do you think I want this? Do you think I asked for these attacks? Everything I do is to make sure we're secure, but you... you don't get it!"

Her husband threw his hands up, storming out of the room. "I'm done talking. I can't live like this."

Meanwhile, Sarah faced her own ordeal. The attack on her home was more direct. Late one evening, several men tried to break in, smashing the windows of her kitchen and throwing rocks laced with gasoline at the exterior. The security system activated instantly, but the sight of armed men creeping across her lawn sent a chill through her. She retreated with her daughter, who was terrified, and huddled in the back of the house as her security team handled the situation. The attack ended quickly, but the damage was done.

Her husband had been growing more distant for months, and now, the fear and danger pushed him to the brink. "This is insane!" he shouted, once the security cleared the area. "I can't believe you've dragged us into this!"

"I didn't drag anyone into anything!" Sarah snapped, trying to calm her shaking hands. "It's not my fault that our competitors are fighting back."

"Fighting back?" He scoffed. "You're going to get us all killed. You can't just hide behind your work and pretend everything's fine. You're risking everything—our family, our daughter's safety."

Sarah's voice grew cold. "I've built this company from the ground up. Everything I do is for us."

"That's the problem!" he yelled. "You're so obsessed with work that you've forgotten what really matters!"

Their argument dragged on, and the rift between them deepened.

Later that night, both Charlotte and Sarah found themselves overwhelmed with anger and frustration. Their once-stable marriages were now hanging by a thread, and the attacks on their companies and homes had pushed them to the edge.

Charlotte called Wang Jian first. Her voice was tense and sharp as she asked him to meet her at a bar. Wang agreed instantly, sensing the opportunity he had been waiting for. When she arrived at the bar, she wore a tight, deep red dress that clung to her curves, highlighting her voluptuous figure. Her neckline plunged, offering a tantalizing glimpse of her cleavage. Her makeup was flawless, and her hair cascaded in loose waves, but her eyes were filled with frustration.

Wang Jian greeted her with a warm smile, leading her to a private booth. They ordered drinks, and soon Charlotte was venting, her words spilling out with raw emotion. "I can't believe what's happening. My husband blames me for everything. The attacks, the pressure... it's all

too much."

Wang Jian nodded sympathetically, his eyes flickering to the curves of her body as she shifted in her seat. "He's not seeing the bigger picture, Charlotte. You've done everything for your family, for him. He should be supporting you, not tearing you down."

Charlotte took a long sip of her wine, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. "Exactly! I've worked so hard, and he can't even appreciate it."

Wang leaned in slightly, his arm casually slipping around her waist as he spoke softly. "You deserve better than that. Someone who truly understands what you're going through, who supports you."

Charlotte didn't pull away. Instead, she seemed to relax into his touch, her frustration easing as she vented further. Wang Jian smiled inwardly, knowing he was slowly pulling her closer,

step by step.

Later that night, Sarah called him as well, her voice equally strained. She needed someone to talk to, someone who understood. Wang agreed to meet her at a different bar, and when she arrived, she wore a sleek black dress that hugged her body in all the right places. The fabric clung to her hips, and the neckline dipped just low enough to reveal the swell of her breasts. She looked stunning, but there was a tension in her face that couldn't be hidden.

As they settled into the dimly lit bar, Sarah wasted no time in pouring out her frustrations. "My husband... he's impossible. He acts like everything I've worked for doesn't matter. And these attacks—he blames me for putting us in danger."

Wang listened patiently, his eyes wandering over her figure as she shifted in her seat, her cleavage subtly visible from the angle. "He doesn't understand what it takes to build something like you've built. You've sacrificed so much, and instead of supporting you, he's tearing you down."

Sarah sighed, running a hand through her hair. "It feels like I'm fighting this battle alone."

Wang smiled gently, shifting closer to her. His arm found its way around her waist, resting there as he spoke in a low, soothing tone. "You're not alone, Sarah. I'm here for you. I understand what you're going through, and I'll always be here to help."

Sarah's body relaxed against his, and she looked at him with a grateful smile. "Thank you, Wang. You've always been there for me, more than anyone else."

As they sat close, Wang Jian could feel the electricity between them. The two women, though different in their circumstances, were now leaning on him more than ever. He was slowly, but surely, becoming their confidant, the one they turned to in their darkest moments. And as the night went on, with drinks flowing and emotions running high, Wang Jian knew that he was one step closer to his ultimate goal.
