Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

Chapter 1191 Confrontation With The Elders

-----

While having dinner with my generals and Eleanora and Saphira, I suddenly heard someone coming, it was Henriette, who had left for some time now, but that came back at this hour of the night.

"Blake, the Elders have summoned you," she said. "They said they wanted to discuss with you everything you've done so far, and also properly reward you for your achievements, once more."

"I was waiting for this… Very well," I nodded.

"Eh? You're going?!" asked Emilia. "But you haven't finished your dinner yet, general!"

"It's fine, I'll finish it later," I said.

"Well, if you say so…" Patrick nodded.

"Hm…" Hermes looked rather suspicious. "But why would the Elders want to talk to you so soon? Didn't you already have a talk with them yesterday?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "It's strange, but there's several things we need to address anyways, such as the existence of Braveblitz."

"Braveblitz?" Hermes asked.

"Who?" asked Patrick.

"You'll learn about him later," I said. "He will surely become a public existence, if we want to win this war, he can't be kept hidden anyways."

I walked outside, as Henriette helped me reach the Elders Hall using the floating vehicles.

In a matter of minutes, I was already standing before them.

Immobile, I couldn't even see their faces.

They were in a constant state of cryostasis, only keeping their minds working by connecting them to a digital network.

This way, these incredibly old men can keep themselves technically alive.

"Blake, you're here."

"Our hero, thank you for coming again."

"We wanted to congratulate for your efforts so far."

"As you may have already known, at the end of the week, we'll finally arrive at our destination, the exoplanet that is the perfect vessel for the revival of our kind."

"Terraforming will begin right away once we arrive, and living conditions should become available within ten years."

I see, so they're already planning all of that… Also terraforming as planet in just 10 years? That's incredibly fast. Most of the empires I know that terraformed planets took several dozens of years, sometimes hundreds.

It seems that because human technology is fueled by the powerful energy generated by the Neutonium Alien Race, capable of twisting and manipulating the laws of physics, terraforming a planet has become much easier and streamlined.

"That's a relief, long live humanity," I said proudly, although only pretending. "There were many things I also wanted to speak with you, respected elders."

"Oh? What that might be?"

"Well…"

I talked to them about Braveblitz's existence. At first they didn't believe me though, but once he was brought here, and started talking and everything on his own, they immediately accepted his existence, although completely shocked.

"T-To think the power of Neutonium Core Abilities could give birth to this advanced form of Machine Warrior… it is more like an advanced android now, huh?"

"We would need to analyze him further! An existence like him could help us improve our own technology by leaps and bounds!"

"Excellently done, Blake!"

"He also had several other abilities, but only I can pilot and control him," I explained. "Braveblitz will not agree with any of your demands I try to convince him. And he's strong, and dangerous."

"That's right! I'm afraid I cannot let any of you get inside of me! Only Blake has that privilege!" Braveblitz said, saying it in a very weird way.

"Ah yes, well, we guessed as much."

"From the beginning that your machine warrior acted strangely and independently anyways."

"Indeed, it would be wiser to create a peaceful relationship anyways."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Thank you for understanding it!" Said Braveblitz. "As a Hero of Justice, as long as Blake is by my side, I shall protect humanity and bring you to prosperity!"

"A-Ah, yes…"

"T-Thanks."

"What a strange robot."

"Hmm…"

I facepalmed, even when he had good intentions, Braveblitz simply couldn't help but act cringy, it was within his nature, it seemed.

"As you may expect, it is quite clear I and my team are your last chance for surviving the constant assault of the Xenoids," I explained. "And…"

I explained them how the entire fight went about the intelligence of the Xenoids, their desire to assimilate humanity, and about their new powers, alongside their Queen, which I had learned about slightly.

All of this was new information for them, things they didn't know about and that I had to inform them about for them to finally realize the level of the situation, and its imminent danger.

"It wouldn't be an understatement to say that the Queen herself, the being who controls and governs all Xenoids, is targeting us personally."

The Elders fell into silence for a moment, Henriette that was looking from a distance also heard everything, growing increasingly more nervous.

"So that's how it is…"

"To think such a thing would happen to us…"

"But why us? Why is she targeting humanity so much?"

"It's quite clear why," I explained. "We are different than most other alien species they had assimilated. Our intelligence, unique emotions, the technology we create, and so on, they desire all of that. By assimilating us, the Queen aims to turn herself and her kind into more "complete" and "perfect" beings, which I assume has been her goal from the very beginning, evolution."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

As they remained in silence, probably thinking how to even respond to this crisis, I smiled, offering them all my help.

"Of course, as I mentioned, Braveblitz and I are your guardians and heroes," I smiled even more, as I spread my arms in generosity. "I shall protect you all with my life! However, that alone will not do. We require investments, better equipment, more Credits, and also Neutonium Shards, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of them. Every day from now the Xenoids will come in greater droves. If you don't do anything, not even Braveblitz and I will be able to protect you."

"I understand, we were already planning to invest on everyone protecting the spaceship."

"However, you have to understand that we can't simply give you so much of our-"

"What's more important?!" I screamed at them furiously. "Your lives? Humanity's survival? Or your material goods? Money?! Tell me!" Stay updated via empire

"…"

They couldn't respond right away, it seemed.
