Chapter 160 - Hah! Foolish Woman!
-----
It never appeared when his soul was damaged.
Nor it appeared when he took chunks of his soul to attack enemies.
Nor it happened when he was at the border of death.
It only appeared once to devour the Blood Progenitor's soul and force it to fuse with Noah.
And it appeared a second time now, to devour the seals that restrained Noah's soul.
Why? Because it hated to be restrained.
As a spawn of the chaos of ancient and mysterious origins, it was a being of unruly existence that desired to do as it pleased.
It had a strange personality that Noah had not yet understood.
But Noah had the faint thought that it might emerge when his soul was to be restrained or attack by a separate being capable of actually restraining or devouring his soul.
However, they were mere hypotheses, as Noah had prepared something else without even considering that the Spawn of Azathoth would help him.
Why? Because the tentacles of black ooze that emerged out of Noah's soul were not the Spawn of Azathoth's doing, in fact, it had just woken up a few seconds ago and began to groan.
Noah was already acting on his own, and never considered this entity as a friend nor as an ally to rely on.
In this situation, the one he could rely on the most was himself…
And the dozens of powerful souls delving within him.
Yes, Pride and dozens of human and monsters souls emerged one after another, appearing like tentacles of black ooze and red blood!
The tentacles began to devour Noah's restrains, using all of the other might to fight back!
And as the Lady of Lake was weakened, she had not enough mana to reinforce the seals!
She used everything she had to seal Noah's soul, but she did not even think that Noah would have so many souls with him!
These Souls were his Blood Servants, although they were made of blood and phantom that resided inside his physical flesh, Noah had already experienced the ability to see all the souls of his Blood Servants while he slept, which was how he talked for the first time with Pride!
Now, he simply ordered them to attack while draining his own mana to fuel themselves!
The Blood Progenitor was also given the privilege of helping, although he and Noah had the same soul, he had a different mind of his own, and though such will, he put a lot of fight against the seals, which ultimately began to weaken!
Crack, crack!
As the seals began to fragment into pieces slowly, a small dark red tentacle emerged out of Noah's back, slowly moving near the Lady of the Lake's feet, and tightly entangling her leg.
"HYAAAAA! W-What is that?! How?! No… this is… Impossible!" she cried, trying to resist as much as she could!
"Hahahahaha! Foolish woman! Did you really think that I only was a single soul?! I would never be alone by myself!" laughed Noah as his left arm was freed from the seal, an ethereal arm that was the projection of his physical body made of his soul, which tightly gripped and raised to the skies triumphantly!
The Lady of the Lake saw with horror as Noah's soul began to shapeshift, opening it monstrously as more black and red liquids began to pour all over the place, shapeshifting as large arms, legs, claws, tentacles, and more!
"No… NO! This is… not possible! I sealed you completely! How can you… harbor souls inside your very soul!?" asked the Lady of the Lake in complete disbelief, as she quickly unleashed a holy slash with her hands and cut off the tentacle entangling her leg, stepping back a few meters.
"Not even I know exactly how it works. But Blood Servants, after all, are like a type of necromancy, to keep them alive even when they dissipate into nothingness, their souls have to be connected to me somehow, so I can supply them with Mana. Isn't that the most logical thing to think? Oh, well, you are a foolish and ignorant woman, so what do you even know about?" laughed Noah, quickly freeing the rest of his soul!
CRASH!
The seals of holy light broke apart as they fell like tiny fragments of glass over the floor, dissipating into nothingness.
Noah's soul was now freed!
"You own me one now!" said the Blood Progenitor, who had greatly helped Noah fight back against the restraints of the seals!
"Hmph! I don't owe you anything," said Noah, ignoring the Blood Progenitor shamelessly, as he glanced back at the trembling woman before him.
"N-No… Get away from me! Don't give… a single step!" roared the Lady of the Lake, as her hands began to glow with holy light.
Although she had no mana, her very soul could still be used as a weapon, which Noah desired to devour.
"Oh? Or what? What are you going to do?" said Noah, walking several steps, nearing the Lady of the Lake with a malicious smile!
Suddenly, the Spawn of Azathoth finally acted, as a giant crimson eye surged in the middle of Noah's chest!
"Hoh? You are quite late…" sighed Noah, as the tentacles of the abyssal entity began to emerge from his malformed and spectral soul, wiggling towards the Lady of the Lake viciously!
"Snack…" groaned the Abyssal being, only seeing her as a snack!
"NNGH…! W-What is that?! What… are you really?! How… that's… I have seen something like that before… in the ancient times… the Warlocks once… called upon those monstrous otherworldly creatures…! I can't believe it…!" said the Lady of Lake, creating a perfect replication of Excalibur in both of her hands made entirely out of her soul, as she pointed them at Noah, making them glow even brighter!
"I will not go down without a fight!" she roared.
"Fight? Why would I fight against a meal?" laughed Noah.
"D-Don't take me so lightly! I am the one that once gave the sword to my king, the one chosen by the divine voice of the world! The holder of the legendary sword forged by humanity's wishes!"
The Lady of the Lake quickly launched the two Excalibur replications made of her holy soul towards Noah!
CLASH! CLASH!
The two swords were tightly stuck into Noah's soul, as they exploded!
BOOM! BOOM!
The Lady of the Lake smiled triumphantly as she saw Noah's soul being torn apart!
"See? This is the difference in power between a Divine Soul and your soul, no matter the help- EH!?"
The Lady of the Lady glanced in disbelief as Noah's soul began to mix around with the souls of his Blood Servants, like a mass of groaning souls, a legion of phantasmal entities, sticking together and patching him once more!
The crimson eye surged once more on his chest, as Noah opened his eyes.
"It seems that my servants would never let me be defeated," laughed Noah, as suddenly, a ray of several lights emerged from the skies!
Outside of this world, Iris and the rest of Noah's subordinates were all unleashing their souls and mana into Excalibur, pouring it all into it!
"If he's really there, then we should be able to help him by giving him our souls and mana!" said Arthur.
"Even if it hurts a bit… We have to do it!" said Iris.
The Lady of the Lake glanced with horror as Noah's power kept increasing endlessly!
"T-That's… they are giving you… their soul and mana?!" she asked.
"Of course. I can always rely on my family to back me up. Isn't that what a family is all about?" said Noah viciously, as black tentacles emerged out of his soul, rushing towards the Lady of the Lake!
Flash! Flash! Flash!
"Family?! You are but a bunch of vicious and brainwashed monsters!" roared the Lady of the Lake, unleashing a blast of light and dissipating Noah's tentacles!
FLASH!
However, like a zapping black thunderbolt, Noah emerged right before her!
"T-That speed!"
"Timassa's soul is rather useful," analyzed Noah, as his eyes flashed with deep purple and pink colors, unleashing several Evil Eye effects on the Lady of the Lake!
"Nngh?!"
The Lady of the Lake felt as if her soul was being sucked of its energy!
Alongside this, she felt as if she was showered by abyssal and monstrous despair, the effect of another Evil Eye!
And lastly, her chest suddenly started to distort itself, breaking apart and causing agonizing pain to her!
"Nngaaaaaggh…!"
The Lady of the Lake groaned in agony once more as she ran away from Noah, barely resisting the pain!
However, Noah emerged as black lightning once more beside her, as his hands extended like poisonous phantasmal claws, grasping her arms!
"You are not going anywhere!" he laughed.
