Unpredictable Marriage.

"Oh my God!" Chen Lihua exclaimed in surprise and in shock.

She really didn't expect Liu Longwei to propose to her since they've already gotten their marriage certificate.

So she now glanced at Liu Longwei with her teary eyes and with her hands over her mouth.

Liu Longwei smiled as he walked up to her with a little box opened on his palm.

Right there, one of the most expensive diamond rings in the world, 'The Graff Pink Diamond ring' was sitting majestically on Its throne, waiting to be given to it's the owner.

This diamond ring cost a whopping amount of $42.2 million. In the list of the most expensive diamond rings in the world, it ranked third. 24.78 carats of diamond were used in this ring of luxury and elegance.

This diamond ring ? was personally picked and paid for by Liu Longwei from an auction he attended during his business trip, since he didn't know Chen Lihua's taste, and Chen Lihua almost had a fight with him because of it.

So when his Personal Assistant, Duyi told him about the auction, he delayed his trip back to China because of it.

Since money was not a problem to Liu Longwei, he didn't mind spending that amount of money if he could make his wife happy.

Although Chen Lihua didn't know the worth of the ring she was staring at right now, she could still tell that it was expensive.

Chen Lihia became more emotional as she stared at the ring. Then she suddenly hugged Liu Longwei as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Liu Longwei smiled and patted her back lovingly with one hand, and the ring on the other hand.

"Are you so touched that you have forgotten to answer me?" Liu Lingwei asked.

Chen Lihua left his embrace and Liu Longwei brought out a white handkerchief and helped her dab her tears away.

Then he looked at her lovingly before opening his mouth to say sincerely, "Lihua although we might have gotten our marriage certificate already, and all these may not seem relevant, but you deserve the best. So I want to officially propose to you because I love and care about you more than you think. I promise to Love and take care of you for life even in any circumstances we find ourselves in the future. I promise not to betray you, the love, the respect and mutual understanding between us. So Chen Lihua, will you marry me?"

Chen Lihua with her hands over her mouth nearly choked in between sobs as she answered him, "Yes, I will marry you".

And then she raised her left fingers for him to slide the ring in.

Liu Longwei took the ring out from the box, carefully held her outstretched fingers before sliding the ring gently into her ring finger.

And then, he kissed are finger.

There was another shout of fireworks in the sky. People that looked up at the sky this day felt that the night was indeed beautiful, and love was beautiful as well.

The fireworks wrote, 'she said yes'. Following after which other fireworks drew many love and flower symbols in the sky. The sky was indeed beautiful.

At this moment, Chen Lihua leaned on Liu Longwei's embrace as they admired the fireworks together.

From his embrace Chen Lihua whispered with a tinge of joy in her voice, "Thank you".

The reason Chen Lihua felt so touched was because Liu Longwei took her unawares with the surprise engagement.

Naturally, Chen Lihua is a romantic woman. She had once had dreams and fantasies of having the perfect engagement. But that dream was cut short with her arranged marriage, so she no longer had hopes about it because according to the law, she was a married woman already.

So she was really emotionally touched with Liu Longwei's surprise. He actually brought her dreams and fantasies to reality.

With these thoughts, Chen Lihua hugged Liu Longwei tightly and gratefully.

Liu Longwei smiled and rubbed her back as he gave her a peck on the forehead.

"We still have a place to go to, so let's not delay". Liu Longwei said.

"Oh". Chen Lihua said as she looked around the living room which still had the beautiful decorations with a slight regret.

Liu Longwei saw through her emotions and assured her with a smile, "Don't worry, the decorations will be left this way until tomorrow morning, exclusively for you. You don't have to worry about the memories, because today's memories has already been captured and saved".

Chen Lihua felt so grateful for his care and considerations, and so she gave him a peck on his cheek before walking away with all smiles on her face.

Liu Longwei walked behind her with a doting smile on his face.

This time around, they used a bullet-proofed jeep and with their official formation (4 cars escorting them, 2 in front and the other two at the back).

Chen Lihua didn't make a comment about the car because she has been very busy staring at her ring finger with an unhidden joy on her face.

Liu Longwei just focused his gaze on her happy face. As he couldn't bear with her not paying attention to him, but staring intensely at an object, he decided to pop a champagne in order to draw her attention to him.

He filled their glasses with the wine before handing a glass to her saying, "Let's celebrate our new relationship status, cheers".

Clink (the sound of two wine glasses clashing).

"Cheers". Chen Lihua said as she clinked glasses with him before taking a sip from it.

Staring at the ring again, Chen Lihua raised her fingers to examine the ring.

Then she asked Liu Longwei, "This ring feels heavy. How many carats of diamond is it crafted with?"

Liu Longwei answered her nonchalantly, "just around twenty four carats".

"Did you use the word 'just' on a 24 carat diamond? I can tell you have too much money, and I guess you're not moved by spending your money. I don't even dare to ask about the price of this ring, because I have a feeling that I won't be able to handle the shock and most probably will not dare to wear the ring again. So let me just ignorantly wear the ring and enjoy this moment for now, because I feel the storm is brewing something, and it will not be funny".
