Chapter 128: Chapter 126: Barry Allen



[3rd POV]

Staring down the Flash, aka Barry Allen, Talia inwardly grinned, while Kara spoke out.

"The who now?" Kara asked, having no idea who this guy was. And with his sort of powers, she would have known him.

"The...wait, do you not know who I am?" Barry asked, surprised.

"Should I?" Kara replied, confused.

"What about the Green Arrow? Black Canary? Firestorm? Atom? Zoom?" At every name, Kara shook her head, as Barry grew more and more confused.

"Oh boy" Barry muttered, before reaching up and pulling his mask off.

"Hey, I'm Barry Allen, I'm the fastest man alive. I also think that I am on the wrong Earth. And I'm gonna need your help" Barry said, causing Kara to blink and turn to Talia.

"Is he like you?" Kara asked, causing Talia to shake her head.

"Nope" Talia replied, her helmet disappearing from her face.

"Talia Morningstar, and I have to say, it's a surprise to see a Speedster down here. Especially one who's so connected to the speed force" Talia said, causing Barry to blink in surprise, while Kara just looked confused.

"How do you-" "I know a lot of things about the Multiverse, Barry. More than just about every other person alive. So I also know that you accidentally came here after using that neat little device on your chest. A rather useful power you speedsters possess, should you get fast enough at least" Talia replied with a smile, as Kara just grew more and more confused. "Um, what exactly is the speed force?" Kara asked on the side, causing Talia to look to her. "It's complicated, love. But you can sort of think of it as the a cosmic energy field and force that is based around velocity and movement, and is essentially the personification of them. It's what pushes space and time forward, and without it, the multiverse would be kind of screwed" Talia resopnded, causing Barry to look at her in surprise, both because she knew so much about it, but also because even he didn't know about certain things she said.

"So that's why he can come here? Because he went so fast that he broke through space into our universe?" Kara asked, causing Talia to shrug.

"Sort of? The Speed force is quite a complicated thing, one that I don't understand very much about. Just that it is one of the most powerful forces in all of the multiverse, and isn't something you should be messing with" Talia replied, really not knowing a ton about the thing.

"So...can you guys help me? I don't really know how I got here, but what you said makes the most sense" Barry asked on the side, cutting off their little conversation.

Looking at one another, they both smiled and turned back to him.

"Let's get started then"

Inside of CatCo, Barry was typing away at a large computer. One that Winn had set up in an abandoned office, so that they could do recon and stuff, without having to go the DEO.

"I don't understand. You guys have Central City, but you don't have S.T.A.R Labs. No Cisco Ramon, no Harrison Wells, no Caitlin Snow. Nobody who's gonna be able to help me get back home" Barry said as he got up, sighing as he realized this might take a lot longer than he thought.

As he said this, the door burst open, with James and Winn walking in.

"Hey! Are you alright?" Winn asked, looking to Kara, while also noticing Barry and Talia standing there.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. What happened to Siobhan?" Kara asked, while Talia hummed.

'I wonder if I could get it...the Speed Force? I do know the equation for it afterall...' Talia thought, realizing that the Speed Force was something that she should theoretically be able to tap into. She just wasn't sure how the force would react, considering it was sentient and all. 'Not to mention if I can get a Speedster class. Would that be locked should I get the speed force now? Or would it actually boost what is already there, making me even faster than otherwise?' Talia thought, realizing she would seriously need to think this over, and decide whether to try it or not. As the speed force would be a MASSIVE aid to her, mainly because of the sheer speed she'd gain, considering she was already much faster than Barry was (at the moment).

"Oh, well, after she went all Mariah Carey on you, she just split" Winn replied.

"Oh, so we both have Mariah Carey, that's...something" Barry said, trying to look on the brightside.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Who are you?" James asked, confused on who this unknown man was.

"Hey, sorry, I'm Barry Allen" Barry said, giving James a handshake, who replied "James Olsen"

"And this is Winn. Uh you guys, Barry...is from another universe" Kara said, motioning towards the man with her hands in a rather dramatic fashion.

"Whoa, so he's like Talia?" Winn asked.

"Eh, not really. He's from Earth 1, I'm not from anywhere around here" Talia replied, causing Winn to blink before remembering that she was a Timelord, so she technically wasn't even native to this Multiverse.

"You're from another Universe too?" Barry said in surprise.

"Sort of. Not really though. I guess it'd be like comparing how you're from another universe, and Kara's from another planet" Talia replied, causing Barry to look at Kara.

"What?"

"Oh yeah, she's an alien" Winn said, causing Barry to just look more and more confused.

"So um, how exactly did you get here?"

"I sorta went fast enough to open a...breach? - Whatever you want to call it - to this universe. Total accident, but I'm here now" Barry replied, causing James to blink.

"But how could you travel that fast?" James asked.

"Uh, well, um..." Barry said with a small grin, before he disappeared in a blur of speed, lightning crackling behind him.

him, sure. But she knew that he'd eventually surpass her, and even Kara, should he continue to grow like he did in canon. Because even in this universe, he ended up reaching speeds that were faster than the speed of light, albeit inconsistently.

Reappearing about a second later, Talia chuckled as she found a vanilla icecream cone in her hand, alongside the rest of the people in the room.

"Yes!" Kara exclaimed, happy to have some icecream. Talia inwardly cooed at the adorable reaction, as she watched her girlfriend lick the icecream.

"Yeah, so, um, I was struck by lightning the same night a particle accelerator exploded. And I become a superhero" Barry explained, causing Kara to let out a small chuckle.

"So you're a superhero too? That's cool" James said genuinely, unlike in canon where he was more jealous than anything.

"Okay, so you can just bop back and forth between universes?" Winn asked.

"Ah, no. That was sort of an accident. I have traveled through time before by accident. But I've never jumped parallel dimensions without meaning too. So until I can figure that out, I'm stuck here" Barry replied.

"Well, that should be easy enough to fix. All we've got to do is get you fast enough to do it again. Which with Kara or my help, will be easy peasy" Talia said with a shrug.

"Your help?"

"Mmhmm, if we combine your speed with one of ours, and slingshot you forward, you should move fast enough to break the dimensional barrier back to your reality. Should that not work, I've got another idea that will" Talia replied, causing Barry to look at her with a thankful sigh. "But, I think it'd be best to wait on that. As we have a rather annoying screamer to deal with, and you probably need to eat with the amount of energy you need. But, you shouldn't worry, as time won't pass in your universe while you're here, or not very much at least" Talia added, which caused to Barry to nod.

"Ooh, Talia does this mean you'll make lunch?" Kara asked with an excited glint in her eyes, knowing just how amazing Talia's food is.

"I don't see why not. I can make some pizza or something for the two of you" Talia replied with a shrug, not minding it.

"What type of pizza?" Barry asked, looking incredibly interested in food. He was a hungry

man afterall.

"Literally any kind, I'm pretty good at cooking" Talia responded, causing Kara to snort.

"Pretty good is an understatement, Talia. You're literally the best chef on the planet, and I should know, I've eaten at a lot of places" Kara said, causing Barry to look even more interested at the idea of pizza made by Talia.

Looking to the two of them, Talia smiled and spoke.

"Well then, let's get going, shall we?"

It was basically just a chapter of them talking and getting to know Barry. He's going to

become pretty important in the future, as will Earth 1.

Next chapter will probably be his last on Earth 38 for a while, as Silver Banshee/Siobhan isn't

much of a threat to the three of them, besides Kara because of her sensitive ears. So Talia swill probably take care of her on her own, as I don't see the point in wasting time on it, as Talia

wouldn't.

Superman and Lois arc should begin within 5 chapters or so. And for those that have HBO Max,

or CW (Which I believe is free), I suggest trying it out! It's easily the best Superman show (or movie) ever made, with only Smallville coming close. It's also the best Arrowverse show ever made, and one of the best CW shows overall ever made. So...that's saying a lot. It's also criminally underrated and not talked about enough/not enough fanfics made around it.
