Chapter 66: Plan Foiled, Hot Spring



"What the in the nine hells?!" Goddess Elysia stomped her foot angrily as she looked at a cloudy blue screen displaying Nailzim city.

The girls in the hall stood silently and didn't say anything. They were angels only in name. In reality, they were slaves and couldn't even leave this palace.

Goddess Elysia turned around to face them with an ugly expression while pointing her finger at another screen that displayed a photo.

"Who is he?!"

The photo was none other than Aleron's.

"You, tell me about him," Goddess Elysia looked at Yuzu, her expression pissed.

Yuzu was slightly scared, but she still answered as she composed herself, "He is Aleron, an otherworlder summoned by fallen Falran Kingdom three days ago."

'Or was it four? Urgh...'

"Why is he so powerful?! He just ruined my plan!" Elysia coldly hissed as she looked at the smiling face of Aleron, feeling intensely pissed off.

'How the hell should we know?'

'Bitch.'

'Go get your nails done, hoe.'

Everyone cursed her in their minds.

Elysia's expression was dark as she said, "You think I can't read your thoughts? I just don't give a fuck about what you think of me!"

"And I still don't," Elysia's eyes narrowed as all angels trembled upon hearing her words. "This is because I need you. I am restricted. I can't observe the world like you all, and I can't act much, but you all can and that's why you are here!"

Elysia's cold voice continued, "From now on, monitor this Aleron and find out more about him. This is your job and I expect you to do it unless you think you can survive as a plaything of demons."

After saying that, Elysia left the hall and appeared back in her garden before leaning on the couch and biting her nails with an expression that seemed to show she was greatly frustrated while thinking about something.

'That demon was supposed to take over the city and officially start the war between demons and humans, but that bastard killed him...'

'Should I completely open the barrier and let demons from the Demonic continent come into the Lightdusk?'

'No...then I could easily lose more than gaining. Humans are my followers, so I need them to get stronger faster during the war and win. It's fine if half of them die, but more than that and it would be a problem.'

'If Demons starts losing, I can mediate with the Demon Lord and get both humans and demons under me, which will only leave Northen Star continent...'

With how she planned things out, she was confident of getting this world under her banner and officially joining the Cosmic Ascension Competition.

However, things were going haywire before the first step of her plan began.

'Aleron...he is a threat, but I can't make a move directly. I can either try to get him to become my follower, but given how he acts, that seems impossible.'

Elysia felt like pulling her hair, but she calmed down soon and focused on getting a solution to this problem.

She waved her hand and looked at the photo captured by her staff after Aleron killed the demon.

'But to cover for that, I need to make a big, visible move against him.'

"Ah~ comfortable," Aleron said after taking out his head from the hot spring pool after diving in and leaning against a rock in the pool.

"You are that sore all over, boss?" Hua asked as his shredded and medium-lean muscular figure rested against another rock with his usual long ponytail unwinded into long wide hair.

"Yeah. I boosted my physical body's foundation and exerted it fully, so soaking here feels super comfortable with sweet pain all over," Aleron grinned.

This soreness emerging from exerting his full physical body's power and stretching it to the limit with Magilore wasn't something he could recover by using a spell or skill, but it was recovering fast nonetheless since it wasn't anything serious.

"Lord, are you creating a skill?" Fang curiously asked upon looking at Aleron's eyes. His shoulder-length dark blue hair flowed behind him as his lean figure swam near Hua and leaned against the rock before facing Aleron.

"Yeah, Fang. I am designing a skill, but it's a big project," Aleron chuckled and said, "The name is Hell."

Suddenly, Aleron heard Yueha's voice in his head.

'Master, this hot spring is amazing. Can we add this to our place in the secret realm?'

'Of course, that's the plan,' Aleron grinned. 'We are going to make a hill with various hotspring spots near the necropolis.'

Aleron and the group had bought a private hot spring pool for an hour. It was separated into two sections for males and females, so Yueha, Mei, Rias, and Roxen were nearby as well, only separated by a wooden wall.

Of course, Rias had put a barrier so that if anyone tried to peek using magic, she would sense

it.

"We are going to get a hot spring, alright. Master said he will make one," Yueha said, her expression comfy as she dipped herself inside for a few seconds.

"This hotspring is infused with magic and high-tier herbs. You can make one easily if you have the resources," Rias smiled.

"Mhm, I read in the board this hot spring has the power to develop this area," Mei nodded as she looked below at her chest and then at Rias, Yueha, and Roxen's busts.
