Chapter 102: Power Boons As Present (3), Visiting the Rest



Aleron went to the Beastfolk village and saw Ruan teaching a few Beastfolk kids and several adults about the cultivation in the village square.

Ruan looked like she was in her late teens with cute hair buns and a lively personality, but her power was quite the opposite of that as she had expertise in deadly illusion due to her cultivation method and techniques.

"Master!" Ruan excitedly stood up to see Aleron after a long time and rushed towards him.

"Hi, Ruan," Aleron smiled and nodded. "Good work there. And I see you also broke through to Exceed-rank."

"Yes," Ruan said with a big grin. "Master, I want to spend some time with you and adventure. Of course, I can wait if you are busy, but I want to help you too because I broke through." "Yep," Aleron chuckled and patted her head, "Don't worry, the time will come soon, and I will spend more time here for a while as we will go to a secret place later."

The beastfolks also arrived and bowed towards Aleron, "Lord Ale."

"Master Ale," Lee cupped his fist and bowed. The beastfolks also followed.

"At ease," Aleron nodded at him and the beastfolks with a smile. "I am just looking around and checking up on everyone. It seems that things are progressing just fine."

Lee smiled and said, "To do our best for you is our sole purpose, Master Ale. We had a breakthrough thanks to abundant resources and magic stones. You only need to call us for action next, haha."

"I will do that soon," Aleron grinned.

Suddenly, Aleron saw a sparkling green cloud bursting high above before a shout echoed and neared them as a figure shot trailed down from it.

"Master Ale, I've succeeded!"

Aleron looked at the middle-aged man with a black beard and wearing an alchemist robe as he landed nearby.

"Master Ale, I've succeeded in crafting the Exceed-rank pills after breaking through to Exceed-rank," Yorin said with a big smile. "Now we can increase our stats. Brother Darzax told me to focus on the stat-increasing pills, so I've been working on it.'

'Ayo, I forgot we had an alchemist,' Aleron wryly smiled. 'Good job, Dax.'

"Good job, Yorin," Aleron grinned and patted his shoulder, "don't over-exert yourself and use resources as much as you like to improve your craft."

Yorin nodded before replying.

"We have abundant SSS-rank magic stones with high-quality spirit energy, and no lack of resources, Master Ale. I shall hand you over Exceed-rank pills to increase stats to maximum by tomorrow night for sure."

Ruan and Lee were envious of Yorin being helpful to Aleron already.

The trio walked with Aleron towards another part of the village where other Beastfolks were learning magic from two Death Lords and had just finished a session and had drained themselves in practice.

Aleron briefly talked with them and let them rest before the four of them flew away from the village.

They visited the nearest Arcane Vein where the other three cultivators were training.

Ying Zuo, the Chaotic Martial Weapon.

Liang Fenghuang, the Melodious Swan Songstress.

Jiang Wu Wei, the Thundering Warlord.

All of them had achieved a breakthrough to Exceed-rank as well, though a day later than Ruan, Lee, and Yorin because they were in early-stage of Legendary rank (Xiantian stage) while Ruan, Lee, and Yorin were median-stage and higher, with Yorin being at late-stage of Legendary-rank.

Ying was a man in his twenties with an innate talent to wield and quickly learn all kinds of weapons, and his cultivation method and techniques greatly complimented that. He was hot- headed and had an enthusiastic personality.

Liang Fenguang was a lady in her thirties with long curly dark blue hair, with her main weapon being a guqin and expertise in music and sound field as related to her cultivation method and techniques.

Jiang Wu Wei was the oldest as he looked in his fifties with long wild indigo hair and a thin beard. His robust body stature matched that of Hua's.

After talking with them for a bit, he also found out that the slaves were not being very useful in the Arcane Veins.

Zombies only got mental exhaustion and not physical exhaustion due to their powerful racial endurance, allowing them to work more.

The slaves were humans and struggling, but since they were suffering, Aleron let them be and told the diligent zombies to relax and enjoy time to time while working.

"Got it? You all don't need to work too much," Aleron grinned, "A good balance of work and enjoyment is best for life."

'Indeed, lord Ale. But worry not, we only work till evening and enjoy the rest of the time with family in the city."

Aleron smiled and shook his head, "We are getting steady amounts, so don't fret about it. Just work and enjoy as usual."

Aleron spent several minutes with Ruan, Lee, Yorin, Ying, Liang, and Jiang as he talked about recent happenings and also told them about the scuffle with the Goddess and Cosmic

Ascension Competition.

The six of them were even more fired up as they knew that their strength would be needed sooner or later after hearing that and their Master was telling them that so they could work

hard and get stronger.

"The seven of us will be going to a secret place later," Aleron said with a grin, "Once we finish exploring it, I will give you all a Bloodline and a Job Class."

"For now, I want a sparring partner, so who is up for it?"

"Me!" Ying said with an eager grin and fiery eyes, "Master, I just broke through so I want to consolidate my strength too."

"In that case, I would also like to join," Liang said with a smile as she took out her large guqin

as it floated before her.

old man Jiang said as he cupped his fist.
