Chapter 447: Mine.
....
Azmond saw the little quagmire Lemon found herself in as he sighed before saying, "Come on, Lemon."
He beckoned her with his outstretched arms, clearly indicating that she could tag along.
"Yay! Thank you so much, Azmond!" Lemon beamed with a radiant smile on her face.
She hurried past Clawdia, but not before pulling one of her eyelids down, sticking her tongue out, and saying, "Bleh!"
After which, she giggled mischievously before sprinting toward Azmond and leaping into his firm arms.
"I'm ready to go!" Lemon exclaimed while snuggled up in his embrace.
Clawdia saw this entire thing go down as her facial features started to violently twitch.
But regardless of her frustrations, since her mate was the strongest in the pack, his say was final.
However, that didn't stop a certain level of frustration from building up inside the gorgeous catkin woman as she made her way over to Azmond.
Clawdia pushed Lemon out of the way before glaring in her direction and saying, "Mine."
"But!" Lemon retorted with an aggrieved expression.
She was just getting comfy, and yet she was kicked off so soon!
"Mine." Clawdia repeated, her gaze unwavering.
"Bu-"
"Mine."
"..."
Lemon ultimately ended up giving up, as she sat beside the rest of the women with a pouty look on her face.
I'm the daughter of a Duke, and yet I get treated like this by that dumb feline! Humph! When me and Azmond are alone, I'll make sure to rub our intimacies in her face!
She started to cheekily giggle as she, along with the rest of the women in Azmond's party, walked out of the Coliseum, aiming to take a quick break before the Top 500 matches began.
****
A few hours passed.
The top 500 matches were about to begin, and all the contestants who made it this far were seen standing on five different blueish rings over one hundred thousand meters in width.
Every single one of these rings was situated in the very center of the Coliseum of Dacratas and was capable of being viewed the best when one was in the VIP stands.
On the subject of the VIP stands, hundreds of mysterious figures have been teleporting in since the Top 500 participants were decided.
This was due to the fact that the true scouting usually began as soon as the top 500 participants were finalized.
And it was even more the case in this 'Centennial Clash'. After all, the 'mysterious old man event' had put enormous amounts of attention on anything related to the AquaRing Kingdom.
Nonetheless, Azmond and the girls in his party had already found their respective fighting rings, as all they were waiting for was the go-ahead to start the free for all.
Everyone in his party had already discussed the matter of fighting each other beforehand, and it was unanimously decided that they shouldn't fight each other unless it really came down to it.
However, from the looks of the competition, a lot of the women might be eliminated before they're even able to reach that point.
After all, everybody who had made it to the Top 500 was at the very minimum in the Fifth Cataclysm of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm.
Which meant that every other contentant was at a similar level to the women in Azmond's party.
In fact, a number of participants had already achieved the Half-Step Mahayana Realm, and their auras were extremely domineering and daunting in the eyes of the masses!
Nevertheless, there seemed to be an oddball that was quite out of place when lined up against all the big players.
That oddball being
"Yo. Which of these people are the richest?"
Azmond's voice broke the silence that fell over the Coliseum as he asked a passerby a question.
The passerby ignored the sickly man talking to him as he hurried his steps in the direction he was heading in.
That was pretty rude To just ignore me like that when I was asking so politely
Azmond was beginning to think that people were against the idea of talking to him for some reason
"Pfft" Marina let a light giggle escape from the highest area of the floating VIP stands.
"..." "..." "..."
All the other VIPs looked at the Queen of the AquaRing Kingdom with perplexed expressions.
What did she find so funny??
However, not everyone had such neutral thoughts, as Adam SunBurn was observing her small outburst with an annoyed look on his face.
I want that man dead! But every time I send out people to take care of him, they never come back! If the seniors don't arrive soon, then I will head down there and kill this man myself!
Furthermore, the King of SunBurn wasn't the only one with thoughts like these, as a certain fat young man was looking at Princess Aqua.
And what he saw was her gaze fluctuating between affection, confusion, and skepticism while she intently stared at the frail figure below.
Aqua was beginning to think that the sickly man held a sharp resemblance to her husband; however, she wasn't positive on that inference.
So in the end, she was left with a conflicted look on her face as she observed every single movement that the corpse-like man made.
However, regardless of her tumultuous thoughts, from Pervasshats perspective, it looked like his woman had been enamored by that average-looking 'Morningstar'!
I'm far more handsome than that son of a b*tch, and yet Aqua never gives me anything but disgusted looks! I swear I'll kill that bastard as soon as the seniors arrive!
Pervasshat clenched his fists as he hatefully glared at the distant figure of Azmond.
On a side note, all of the various princesses had seen the way that Princess Aqua was staring at the decrepit man below.
And it was through these observations that, even under the fierce gazes of their fathers, they started to look at Azmond differently.
Even with his average and skinny appearance, there was something about him that was capable of attracting any number of women!
They didn't know what it was, but for some reason, something was telling them that they wanted to be dominated underneath this frail man
