"It looks like all this money is working" Azmond muttered while taking all the gold coins into his storage space.

He emitted a green aura to make it seem like he was healing some injuries that he didn't have.

And it worked like a charm for fooling those rich idiots!

Tens of thousands of people were throwing tens of billions of gold coins in Azmond's direction.

It even reached a point where the onlookers were competing with each other to see who could spare more money!

Azmond had 'only' asked for 400 hundred billion gold coins, and yet he had already obtained 3 trillion from tens of thousands of morons!

He was getting loaded off of fooling a bunch of Young Master Peng's!

Just thinking about all the cultivation materials he could buy in the second tier of the system shop made him start to drool!

He found himself in the 'resting lounge' where he saw a bunch of his female party members return from their respective fights as well.

Azmond talked to his party members for a while and learned that all of them were quite popular in their matches, as a bunch of men even proposed on the spot.

That was especially the case for Ember, Medusa, Clover, Lemon, and Calista

Lemon participated because it was requested by her family; however, Calista was a complete mystery for Azmond

But according to catkin culture, fighting in big competitions and placing well will allow for a 'special event' to be placed in front of the catkin.

Azmond had no clue what 'special event' Calista had in the works, and she was unwilling to tell him anything, so he was left completely in the dark

Nevertheless, all the girls were doing their own thing, and not a single one of them had lost a match yet.

In fact, Ember and Medusa were predicted by the masses to be the winners of the competition!

Clover would be on that list as well, if not for her meek and oddly ditsy demeanor.

And then there was Boundless

|Azmond! This competition is so boring! I know you just wanna swoop in and pick up those blue-haired bimbos! Forget them, and let's go already!| She grumbled with a vexed expression.

Even while Azmond was in 'dead man form' Boundless never did leave his side

Although she stayed off his frail back, she still hovered around him without ever leaving his sight.

In a way, Boundless was eerily similar to Emu.

Emu was too showy and ostentatious while in 'Quantum Katana Flux Mode', so it was best that Emu simply stay a slime till Azmond went full edgelord toward the end of the competition!

After all, only through maximum edginess could he edge his way to 'borrowing' the wealth of all the rich people who came to view the 'Centennial Clash'!

On that note, Azmond had seen representatives from nearly every big organization out there!

Even executives of secret organizations like the 'Hidden Lotus Syndicate' were hiding within the VIP stands.

And he had a feeling that even more 'all-mighty' figures would appear toward the end of the competition.

After this competition was over, he might even be close to breaking through the Great Realm that comes after the Lunar Ascendancy Realm in terms of combat power!

Extending upon the subject of Great Realms past the Lunar Ascendancy Realm.

Azmond had bought a 'Mortal Realms' booklet from the system shop.

It was a pamphlet that detailed all of the general Major Realms in any average Mortal Plane of existence.

Of which he had glossed over the first three past the Mahayana Realm.

Namely, the Lunar Ascendancy Realm, the Comet's Passage Realm, and the Meteor Shower Realm.

And the exact details for the Lunar Ascendancy Realm went something like this:

Starry Qi permeates the entirety of the 'Higher-Level' areas of Mortal Planes of Existence.

Which, for Azmond, would start at the Starry Seaboard and Starry Expanse.
