The Strongest Conquest System

Chapter 425: The Great Leviathan

.....

The Great Leviathan.

It was a beast born over one hundred and fifty thousand years ago.

After it was conceived, it ate its parents before it ate any other creature that tickled its fancy.

And after thousands of years of devouring anything that could increase its strength by even the smallest amount, the Great Leviathan eventually reached a point where it was unrivaled throughout all of Asterion!

It had reached the Absolute Peak Stages of the Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm tens of thousands of years ago, and although it was so strong, things were often forgotten in time.

One of those 'things' just so happened to be the strength of the Great Leviathan, as with every passing generation, all the current experts seemed to forget about the creature who once ruled over Asterion with a tyrannical fist.

Now, of course, the Great Leviathan could do something about these pesky ants who thought themselves his equal; however, after nearly two hundred thousand years of doing the same thing, it all became so pointless

After dealing with the first few generations of Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm Experts, it gave up on trying to quell rebellions, and instead, it opted to hide out in the ground below its 'Leviathans Domain'.

On that note, the 'Levaiathan's Domain' was half a large, four hundred million-wide continent that was inhabited by only the enormous Great Leviathan.

Don't be mistaken, there were hundreds of billions of demons living in Leviathan's Domain; however, every single one of them inhabited the holes and crevices of the Great Leviathan, not the continent itself.

The Great Leviathan was similar to the hybrid experiments of the 'Insane One' and his descendants, except he was far older and more intelligent than the majority of them.

There was only one of these 'Hybrids' that could give him some trouble if it fully awakened; however, that one had been around since the Archaic Era and had long since lost its intellect.

****

Meanwhile, back in Leviathan's Domain.

"...." The Great Leviathan was staring up at the solar system-sized Qi Arc.

Even he couldn't fathom the amount of power contained in that attack

Furthermore, he couldn't begin to ascertain where exactly that attack had originated from.

The Great Leviathan didn't recall there being such a strong expert on Asterion, so what the hell was this situation!?

That was when a sudden idea hit him in the head as he thought, 'Is it another one of those troublesome heroes? But for its strength to increase so much while staying unnoticed'

The Great Leviathan started to entertain the possibility of there being a new anonymous hero.

But the only problem was that the heroes who have come before have usually shown off their strength for hundreds of years, sometimes getting cut down by the ruling forces of Asterion.

However, the ones who did survive the chase of all experts on Asterion were able to venture off into the Starry Expanse, unhindered by anything that came their way!

Furthermore, they would usually break through to the Lunar Ascendancy Realm before taking off into the Starry Expanse.

Although that wasn't always the case as the weaker-minded 'japanese' ones would always speak about wanting to go make friends with 'aliens'.

These heroes would usually die as soon as they left with their Tribulation Transcendance Realm Strength.

Even with their magical and mysterious 'systems' and 'cheats', there would always be some deaths incurred with every new batch of heroes.

On a side note, the ones who left Asterion with a 1st Star Lunar Ascendancy Realm cultivation base never once came back to Asterion.

And it was because of this established fact that everyone assumed that all people who awakened the 'Hero Class' would never return to their roots.

Either that, or they died somewhere along their way out of Asterion.

Since no one was strong enough to verify the facts, everyone just went with the consensus that the heroes left them for dead

Even the 'kind-hearted' heroes were no better. In fact, they were even worse, as they always promised things like, 'Don't worry, we will come back to bring you all away from this place' or 'We got your backs, broskies; don't sweat it, mate!'

Of course, all of these promises fell on deaf ears, as no one believed a single thing that any hero ever said

In fact, a group of a few heroes left Asterion a few dozen years ago, and they told them the same thing.

They even had the gall to come toward the Great Leviathan and tell him that he would be their mount when they returned!

The Great Leviathan would've killed those weaklings right then and there if not for their special statuses and their 'highly effective boons by God'.

As for some reason, whoever messes with the 'heroes', whether they succeed in killing one or not, would always end up being affected by this 'boon of God'.

Even those in the Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm would almost immediately die after killing a hero.

Which is one of the reasons why, hundreds of thousands of years ago, all Cultivators of Asterion barred the killing of any 'certified heroes'.

After all, the 'Boon of God' didn't just affect the one who had killed or harmed the hero; it also affected those in close or distant relation to the one who offended the hero.

In fact, a few tens of thousands of years ago, a Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm expert killed a hero after this 'hero' forced himself upon his daughter.

After the Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm Expert killed the hero, he died not even a few seconds later, due to some 'unknown phenomenon'.

And not long after, the entire family line of this Half-Step Lunar Ascendancy Realm expert, for dozens of generations, was wiped off the face of the earth!

His entire empire of tens of billions of people had fallen overnight, and every single person in the empire 'mysteriously died'...

Nonetheless, regardless of the peculiarities of those dubbed heroes, let us get back to the cataclysmic-level event and the 'solution' to this event.
