"...Scary" Calista mumbled with her ears bent down and her tail wrapped around Azmond's head.

|This place is no good!| Boundless shouted, her alluring body pressed up against Azmond's back.

He felt fluff on his head and squishy down below.

It was at that moment that Azmond didn't know if life could become any more enjoyable.

However, when he remembered the power he was about to gain from his Awakening Ceremony, he sported a resolute look as he focused on following the nun.

Thalia took furtive glances at the man behind her as she traveled throughout the dimly lit white and golden halls of the Holy Cathedral.

She was trying to figure out what exactly was so special about this man.

There must've been something unique about him that allowed his cultivation base to reach the Peak Unity Form Synthesis Realm before the age of four hundred, right??

Of course, there was also the catkin girl who possessed a track record just as impressive, but for some reason, Thalia's mind always seemed to focus on the wolf-masked man.

She didn't know what it was, but his aura had some sort of effect that sucked her in

Thalia observed his appearance for a second, and that was when she noticed something that she had completely overlooked!

'Horns And a tail?' She thought with surprise etched across her face.

'How had I missed such distinctive features of this man?? And what species are they from??'

Thalia had never seen horns or a tail like his from any known species on Asterion. And she knew of them all!

'Is he a mix of multiple different species?? Maybe the result of a dragon's lecherous ventures??'

She was beginning to have unusual thoughts, and before she knew it, they had already reached the entrance to the Holy Altar.

Thalia was brought out of her stupor as she looked toward a set of blue and purple doors with mysterious runes etched onto the edges.

"This is where you both will be going through the activation ceremony. I'll be guiding you both through the process," she said with her stern gaze focused on Azmond.

"Heh~" Azmond chuckled a little at the attention he was receiving before he replied, "That's fine."

The busty nun felt like she was being mocked, but she still said, "Good, then head on in and sit beside the altar."

After saying those words, Thalia vanished from sight, seemingly heading out to do something before the Activation Ceremony begins.

"...This place is even scarier" Calista murmured, her hands clutching onto Azmond's head.

He looked up at the little trembling beauty on his head before he softly whispered, "Here, hold my hand. We can go through this together."

Calista gazed up at the warm, outstretched hand before she mumbled, "Mhmm"

Following her cute and soft confirmation, she grabbed his hand before they walked into the Activation Ceremony hand in hand.

It may have looked a little unusual from an onlooker's perspective, considering that the catkin loli was making herself at home on top of Azmond's head.

But regardless of the oddities surrounding the two, they opened up the purple doors before being greeted with the sight of a large room with a five hundred-meter-wide altar at the very center of the space.

The room itself was thousands of meters in diameter and was filled to the brim with green and purple vines.

The vines covered up all the walls and even the altar itself; however, at the highest point of the room, there was a wide circular opening that allowed for bright rays of sunlight to shine through the dimly lit altar room.

It was almost like the light was meant to remake whoever was going through with the ceremony.

Similar to being reborn anew

If summed up in a couple words, then the altar room was a surreal sight that would leave any mortal breathless!

That was even more the case if you were the one about to go through with the activation ceremonya ceremony that could determine your future achievements!

Azmond and Calista looked around the altar room, while Boundless and Emu were enjoying their time in their respective 'spots'.

And these dynamics lasted for a while, until all of a sudden, the doors to the altar room slammed open!

BANG!

The slamming of the purple doors was followed by a young man with long silver hair tied into a ponytail walking in!

He came in with pompous steps and clearly thought of himself as better than even the very air that he breathed!

And after looking around for a second, this young man stopped his scanning of the surroundings when he saw Azmond's tall figure.

His expression morphed into a sinister one upon catching sight of Azmond as he approached his location with lofty movements.

"So you're the one who 'taught' my younger brother a 'lesson', huh?" The young man sneered.

He had been taken out of his time in the Celestial Academy with the announcement that his younger brother had been beaten to a near-death state and crippled by a random man on the streets.

After hearing of this information, Maverick immediately halted his courtship of the Academy flower known as Nadia AquaRing as he rushed in the direction of the Royal Capital of AquaRing!

And after pulling a few strings within his connections and through his younger brother's note, he was able to discern the approximate location of the man who had crippled his younger brother.

Although it was a little hard to get permission to do as he pleased in a branch of the Holy Confederation, he flashed around his status as a second-generation student of the Celestial Academy and immediately acquired the go-ahead to do as he pleased in the Holy Cathedral!

Maverick had been pissed off since the moment he heard of his younger brother's plight; however, his mood improved significantly when he passed a curvaceous nun on the way over.

He figured that he'd take that woman for himself after he was done 'dealing' with the man and the

'Wait! Who is that beautiful catkin girl on his shoulders!?' He thought with wide eyes.

It was out there on whether he had even seen anyone so beautiful in his entire life! In fact, that girl might even be on the same level as the Celestial Academy Flower, Nadia!

'I must have that little girl for myself!' Maverick thought with a lascivious grin on his face.
