Aqua had been designated as the stand-in Queen while her mother was off doing whatever she was doing, and along with her new position came a lot of paperwork

"Girls, why is there so much today?" She asked, followed by a light sigh escaping her lips.

"Well The truth is that a few of the more brazen of the nobles have decided to hold a rebellion, aiming to dethrone you and your mother," Sapphire replied, her hands flipping through a few documents while on the left side of the throne.

"I heard those big fat old guys are looking to take our beautiful mother and daughter duo down after the end of the Activation Ceremony and Centennial Clash," Azure chimed in with a chirpy voice.

Aqua turned her exhausted gaze toward the goofy and overly busty maid beside her as she looked down at her for a moment before she turned her head back to Azure and said, "Lose some weight."

"What!? I'm not fat, My Lady! Just ask Azmo-" Azure was about to blurt out something dangerous, but before she could, Sapphire interrupted her, saying:

"Yes, My Lady. I'll make sure to have Azure watch her weight from henceforth," she said with a hand clasped onto Azure's mouth.

"Mhmmf-!" Azure attempted to speak; however, her sister didn't seem like she would let her go so easily.

She already realized that she had made a mistake! But she wanted to speak some more as well!

In spite of her grievances, Sapphire held her grip on her face as she looked toward the narrowed eyes of Aqua.

"It almost sounded like you were about to say 'Azmond'"

Aqua's eyes turned into slits as she scrutinized their expressions.

Azure and Sapphire were sweating buckets!

But luckily for them, Aqua shook her head a little before she said, "I must be becoming crazy due to all this paperwork that I'm even starting to imagine things."

"Although I do wonder what my husband is doing right now... He must surely be dealing with that nut job mother of mine" She added with a slight look of longing in her gaze.

Azure and Sapphire decided not to comment on the matter, lest they offend either party.

But on the inside, they were overwhelmed with relief when they heard Aqua change the subject herself...

"However, I can't distract myself by thinking about my husband right now," Aqua began with a staid tone.

"After all, I still need to finish all this paperwork and deal with those small-time rebellious nobles."

"Wise idea, My Lad-" Sapphire attempted to get out her praise; however, it seemed like Aqua wasn't yet done

"And after I finish everything... I'll go and kill all the bi*ches who had the audacity to go after my husband! Then we'll reunite and have babies!"

Aqua's face became a little creepy as her eyes darkened a little.

Azure and Sapphire were beginning to rethink their lives after seeing that insane expression their princess was making.

However, when they heard the word 'babies', they were suddenly reminded of the 'things' that they did with that otherworldly handsome man on the Stingcoil

But they quickly shook their heads and focused back on flipping through the paperwork that they were ordered to sort through.

Aqua also came out of her delusional reverie as she focused back on the task at hand.

Meanwhile, in the sky, hundreds of thousands of miles away from the Royal Capital of AquaRing, a few hundred figures were seen riding on top of the city-sized head of a Gold Dragon.

Honeyed words echoed out across the top of the Gold Dragon as Azmond looked toward a voluptuous blue-haired woman who was sitting to the right side of his arm.

"..." Marina's gaze softened a little before she said, "Yes, but it's not because I want to leave your side or anything. I simply need to get back to my daughter and that idiotic husband of mine"

Azmond's eyes dimmed a little when he heard of her 'husband'; however, he quickly got over it and asked, "When will I be able to see you in public again?"

"...I don't know" She mumbled with a despondent tone.

The truth was that she didn't know if she could ever see him again. That was unless he suddenly became strong enough to beat whatever forces were backing up the FireGod Empire
