Chapter 371: Amonroth, The Monster Emperor
....
Azmond told all the girls that Marina would be staying away from her kingdom for a while, as he promised her that he'd help her with something after they left the Luminous Grounds.
Everyone became a little suspicious over his words as they flipped between them and those two fat bags, and they couldn't help but think that something was up.
And that was especially the case for Boundless, as she kept screaming out, 'Called it!', 'You perverted Milf lover!', and 'Stupid horny baka!'
But, like always, he simply ignored her as he continued his explanation of the events surrounding Marina and her daughter, Aqua.
He also had to articulate how he knew such sensitive and classified information as well, but after a sh*t ton of elaboration, he was ultimately able to get out everything that he needed or wanted to say.
Everyone was a little suspicious of one thing or another, but as long as it was kept down to an extent, he didn't mind the dubious stares he got.
Furthermore, in the end, everyone in the group, besides Spiritflame and Ayalah, held a certain amount of affection for him, so all it really took was a little bit of 'coercing' with his hands, and everyone believed him!
Azmond was even able to get to Calwdia as he teased her body a little.
Although he didn't take it too far, in consideration of the fact that she could ravage him with her Middle Mahayana Realm strength if he pushed it too far...
...
But regardless of the ticking time bomb that was Calwdia, he spent the next few weeks traveling around the rest of the Twenty First Floor.
There were thousands of Tribulation Transcendence Monster Slaves that he met along the way, so he was able to acquire a good chunk of experience points, gold, and law comprehension.
And although he wasn't able to obtain another dragon ball, he wasn't too disappointed. After all, he still had an entire world beyond Asterion to explore as part of the 'Mortal Realm'.
Yes, that's correct. According to Boundless, everything beyond Asterion, including a section of the Starry Seaboard and the Starry Expanse, was all part of the 'Mortal Realm' that Azmond resided in.
He wasn't clear on the exact extent of the 'Mortal Realm' he was in; however, with Boundless's new usages over his 'Quantum Law Comprehension Rate', he was able to figure out that the 'Mortal Realm' was basically a universe.
At least, that was how Boundless explained it in terms of his past world's logic.
She also told him that the 'Mortal Realm' he's in was split up into many different areas, but the only one that Boundless was able to discern was the name for the space that enveloped everything around Asterion.
A space that was called the 'Starry Expanse'.
Azmond wasn't sure if the 'Starry Expanse' was the name of the Mortal Realm or if it was the name of an area or general classification for the 'void'.
But what he did know was that the 'Starry Expanse' would be his next destination after he was done with Asterion.
It sounded a little weird now that he was thinking about it, but the truth of the matter was that Azmond was likely only a few years away from the peak of strength in the world dubbed 'Asterion'.
Of course, he still had a few things he needed to resolve and accomplish as he reached for the peak of the Mahayana Realm in combat strength. But the moment he ultimately leaves Asterion isn't even a far-off concept anymore.
He gave it another 10 years, and not only would his combat strength be above the Mahayana Realm, but his actual Realm would be in the Tribulation Transcendence Stage!
Nonetheless, that was a topic for another time, so why don't we get back to Azmond and the gang as they approach the lair of the strongest Monster Emperor known as 'Amonroth'.
-
Amonroth was a Monster Emperor who was reported to be at the very peak of the Half-Step Mahayana Realm!
But he was also a Monster Emperor who had completely forgotten about the 'human invader' matter that he promised to take care of
He wanted to go and make the human 'disappear' as soon as he popped up on the Twenty First Floor; however, the 'Rehoming Project' suddenly had a mishap that required his immediate attention.
But luckily, after nearly half a year of fixing the 'mishap', the 'Rehoming Project' was ready to be launched according to the Overseers instructions.
Now all he had to do was exterminate the human who had killed off all the other Monster Emperor's before he waited for the go-ahead from the Overseers to commence the 'Rehoming Project'.
His next course of action was flawless!
Or, at least that was what he thought in the beginning...
But, two weeks later, he found himself lying on the ground with his half-dismembered country-sized figure scattered across the Twenty First Floor...
*******
"H-How?" Amonroth muttered with a baffled look on his severed face.
Only half of his head remained after he was confronted by Azmond, but his vitality was quite strong being in the Half-Step Mahayana Realm, so he had no issues living for days with only a fraction of his head pieced together.
However, even with the insane vitality that he possessed, his life force was rapidly fading away, and he knew that he had no way to prolong the inevitable.
Nonetheless, his thoughts were soon interrupted by a two-meter-long figure who stood on top of the city-sized eyeball of Amonroth.
"You ask how?" Azmond questioned with an amused expression.
"Well, it's because you left me alone for nearly half a year," he replied to himself.
"...But, half a year is nothing There's no way that you could have increased your strength so much in such a brief period of time" Amonroth rebuked with a despondent tone.
"You are too quick to doubt, big dude," Azmond said with a small smile.
"I would usually take a little time to kill my opponents, but since you seem like you're having a bad day, I think I'll finish you off with one swift slash," he added, his katana already extended in the air.
