Chapter 346: Aqua’s Mom Is Speeding Toward Us!
....
"..."
Calista had already snapped out of her reverie when Azmond started talking, and after hearing the second part of what he said, her ears bent down as she realized that he would be in danger once again.
"Do you have to go and fight? C-Can we not-?" Calista asked with watery eyes.
"..." Azmond already knew what she was going to ask next, but he wasn't one to veer away from free exp, so he said, "This one is a strong one, and we cannot run from her even if we want to."
"... How strong?" Clawdia inquired.
"Stronger than your current self," he answered with an unknown glint in his eyes before he added, "But if I were to be precise, then the aura signature is somewhere in the Peak Stages of the Sixth Cataclysm of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm."
"..." She didn't know what to say.
Had she been in top form, then a mere Tribulation Transcendence Realm Cultivator would stand no chance in hell against her.
But unfortunately, she was still a few weeks away from recovering her energy to the point where she could beat a Peak Sixth Stage Tribulation Transcendance Realm Cultivator.
Clawdia wanted to help out the man who saved her sister in multiple different ways, but in the end, she knew her limits and knew when to back down.
So, after thinking over her options, she said, "I'll take Calista and the black sphere and run in the opposite direction."
"No! Big Sister, I want to stay with Azmond-"
Calista attempted to refute her sister; however, she didn't even get the chance before a hand came crashing down on her neck.
*Pat*
She was subsequently knocked out cold and thrown over Clawdia's shoulder.
"..." Clawdia looked at the unconscious state of her sister and thought, 'She'll probably hate me even more for this one, but it's better than having her die due to her emotions.'
Her expression saddened a little at such a glum future, but she wouldn't allow her baby sister to get into any more danger than she already had in her absence.
Azmond saw everything between them play out, and he of course observed the look on Clawdia's face, so he muttered, "You don't have to worry about that girl hating you."
He started to speak with an attention grabber as her eyes immediately turned toward him before he continued, "She practically couldn't stop talking about you as we made our way through the Luminous Grounds. Haha~"
He chuckled a little upon remembering the fond memories he made with that timid girl.
"..." Clawdia's eyes never left those effulgent blues of his, as she couldn't help but blurt out, "You really are a nice man."
"Hmm?" Azmond stopped laughing for a second, as he thought he had heard something wrong.
But after looking at the earnest expression on her face, he realized that his actions had once again been misconstrued, so he said, "I'm not nice, Miss Clawdia. I do everything for myself one way or another-"
He was going to continue his words, but something suddenly attracted his attention.
"!!!"
His countenance became a little more serious when he felt that aura near even closer, so he added, "But regardless of my personality, you really should get going now."
Azmond's words resounded before he suddenly recalled something as he asked, "Oh, and can you take these girls with you?"
*Plop Plop*
His question was followed by hundreds of girls in ragged clothes coming out of his storage ring.
"..." Clawdia stared at the exorbitant number of women that practically fell from the sky.
She was going to ask what it was all about, but that's when she started to feel that aura with her divine sense as well.
So, in the end, all she said was, "I understand."
SWOOP!
Calwdia picked up all the women with her Qi and moved them into the black sphere for easier travel.
Azmond's expression became a little more relaxed after he realized that all his matters were in order.
"..." Clawdia finished up the organization of the women before her eyes traveled back toward the stalwart figure of Azmond.
The man in question felt an intense gaze on him as his head swiveled a little before he said, "Take care of them, won't you?"
Following such a request, his gaze softened considerably as he added, "I only gave them to you for safekeeping, just in case anything happens to me. So make sure to watch over them for me in my stead, won't you?"
Clawdia scrutinized the conflicted look on his face for a second before she sighed and said, "Don't die, okay?"
Azmond was going to say something in response; however, he didn't even get the chance to respond before her figure had already disappeared.
And along with her were the black dome, all the Monster Queen's, the women he had in his storage ring, Spiritflame, and Ayalah.
The only person Azmond had left with him was none other than the lovely Boundless.
|Are we going to fight!?| Boundless asked with a mildly expectant look on her face.
"It almost seems like you're excited over such a notion."
|Of course I am! Just think about all the experience points and- Wait|
She was going to continue her yammering session for a while, but she suddenly stopped in the middle as her expression became a little wide-eyed.
|Th-This is|
Her pretty face turned in Azmond's direction before she mumbled, |The owner of the aura signature i-is|
"Just spit it out already," he said.
She cleared her throat a little before she resumed by saying, |Aqua's mom is the owner of the powerful signature speeding towards us!|
"..." Azmond was baffled over this revelation.
'Why would Aqua's mom, the Queen of the AquaRing Kingdom, come after me with such hostile intent?' He thought with a puzzled expression. '...Did that silly girl inadvertently do something else to get me in trouble? Or maybe it was those two sexy maids, Azure and Sapphire'
He thought over the matter for a second and realized that the AquaRing Kingdom could be after him for any number of things
