The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1395 Political Visit (1)

As soon as the message came out of Valkis' mouth, the room turned dead silent.

Princess Selene, Zeul, the other Alpha Primes—and also the Betas were frozen in their spots, their expressions stiffened, in complete shock. Tonight was an important meeting for them, a meeting to discuss their future moves.

So none of them expected any surprises.

It was in Moonheim City, very deep in their territory.

Nobody other than Werewolves could reach this city and yet, the Royal Black Prince found a way. Reality always had a way to surprise them and this time, the surprise wasn't a pleasant one.

Boom!

In a violent burst, the Alpha Prime with the Blood Moon King Mark exploded with rage.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He tackled Valkis and pinned Valkis on the wall with his elbow pressing against his neck.

"Have you no shame?! Our Origin swam through a sea of blood to establish our race and you decided to hand it over to an outsider, a fake, that can hardly be called a proper Werewolf?!" In extreme anger, the Alpha Prime thundered. "Do you have any idea what you're doing?!"

Responding similarly, the other Alpha Primes stood up.

A big portion of them were furious at Valkis who led the Royal Black Prince here.

On the other hand, a handful of them panicked.

Just the sheer mention of the Royal Black Prince made them sweat profusely.

"Kill him, a traitor must be punished!"

"Decapacitate him and deliver his head to the Royal Black Prince! We won't go down easily!"

A powerful coalition of kingly energies exploded and filled the room to the brim and all of the energy cascaded down onto Valkis. Under such a huge amount of kingly energy—Valkis was suffering, his internal organs were being crushed.

Blood seeped out of his gritted teeth, decorating his light-colored clothes crimson.

Even then, Valkis forced out a smile—exposing his blood-coated fangs.

"I'm the messenger," He announced through a constricted windpipe. "I represented him"

Upon hearing this, the Alpha Prime pressed his elbow harder—aiming to crush Valkis' throat. Enjoy new tales from empire

However, before he could do that, an authoritative voice echoed.

"Stop!" Princess Selene stood up from her seat.

Hearing this, the Alpha Prime glanced over his shoulder and saw Princess Selene's warning gaze. She was looking directly at him, with a serious expression, her desire was clear, even before she spoke, "Let him go..."

Gritting his teeth, the Alpha Prime cast one last look at Valkis.

He then freed Valkis albeit very reluctantly and went back to his seat.

Coughing a couple of times on one knee, Valkis rubbed his neck before raising his gaze.

"What do you mean by being called to the capital city?" Princess Selene asked.

Recovering from the pressure, Valkis climbed back to his feet.

"Prince Alaric has something to announce—and the Alpha Primes are going to be summoned to the capital city without exceptions," Valkis clarified, as he straightened his back. "and that includes you, Your Highness"

Just from this alone, it was clear what Prince Alaric wanted to do.

'Is he going to announce his intention to band together with the Clarentium Empire?' Princess Selene pondered, her face contorted into a troubled one—as she did not expect this moment to arrive so soon. 'But that's reckless, I have more Alpha Primes behind me'

Princess Selene didn't know what Prince Alaric and the Royal Black Prince were thinking.

But she could tell that there was a factor of urgency in this move.

Naturally, the Alpha Primes turned towards Princess Selene—awaiting her decision.

Most of the Alpha Primes were eager to battle but she knew that the Royal Black Prince was not searching for a fight. If he did, he would've attacked the Scarlet Banes Kingdom once he took out Prince Leif.

Rather than attacking, the Royal Black Prince wanted them to surrender politically.

Knowing what the Clarentium Empire stands for, the Werewolves wouldn't be harmed.

If the Alpha Primes under Princess Selene attacked, then it would turn for the worst.

'I can't do that—I'll see what he wanted to say to me first...' Princess Selene nodded.

Gazing at Valkis, she gave him a firm nod, "I will meet with the Royal Black Prince,"

Upon hearing that, the Alpha Primes gasped and protested, most of them were not eager to speak with the Royal Black Prince. But despite their disapproval of this, Princess Selene had already made up her mind.

Valkis nodded his head and bowed slightly, "A wise decision, Your Highness"

Once he said that he turned to leave to call for the Royal Black Prince.

Awaiting the Royal Black Prince's arrival, was a torturous process, for them, the room was utterly shrouded in an awkward silence as none of them knew what to do. Valkis said that this visit was a courtesy visit so it could only mean one thing.

The Royal Black Prince was going to announce something.

And since Prince Alaric was mentioned, the rumor was confirmed for them.

Soon enough, three auras could be sensed entering the corridor ahead.

Princess Selene, and the Alpha Primes were confused, none of them could sense the Royal Black Prince's aura among these three figures. All Alpha Primes didn't recognize them—but the princess instantly knew.

'It's the Silverstar Pack...' She pondered as her brows dipped into a hard frown.

Eventually, the door was opened, and the three figures stepped in.

Rows of armored Betas stood in disciplined lines flanking the red carpet—a small welcoming for the visitors, their helmeted heads lightly tilting as their eyes dared to steal glances at the three figures.

Tales of the Silverstar Pack had etched vivid descriptions into their minds.

None of them doubted the identities of the ones entering the room.

A fierce Female Alpha, possessing the bloodline of an Anti-Werewolf.

Her bloodline alone made her as strong if not stronger than the upper-echelon Alpha Primes.

Coupled with her fire manipulation belonging to the Awakened, she was a powerhouse.

Next was the silver-haired Beta—rumored to be the one who brought the Fifthborn to ruin.

She has an innocent face but has a devilish side that deceives even the Fifthborn.

Her bloodline was unknown—but she was said to be previously an Undead, a perfect blend between strength and magic. She was a nobody when she was still an Undead but with the Royal Black Prince's sorcery, she became a formidable Werewolf-Undead Hybrid.

And of course, lastly, the Luna of the Silverstar Pack.

A beloved entity by all kingdoms under the Clarentium Empire, the one who had the same authority as the Royal Black Prince himself, and was also, the most protected. Even in the world of Werewolves, a Luna is also the sheer representation of the Alpha.

But this Luna was more, she was also an Empress command behind the curtain power.

Evelyn, Adhara, and Gistella entered the room.

All three of them were already in their Werewolf form except for Evelyn.

Inside the room were the Alpha Primes and Princess Selene, sitting in a circle like a council.

Despite their neutral expression, the air of unwelcome was thick in the air.

Evelyn and the others stopped at the mouth of the door to look around the room steadily.

Just then, the earrings Evelyn was wearing aglow subtly.

A voice crept into her mind.

[Remember, you're the Luna. Your power lies in your words and status—not strength]

'I understand, no need to tell me twice' Evelyn nodded inwardly.

She and the entity inside her earrings communicated once in a while, and for this moment, in particular, the voice was advising her. Evelyn knew that the voice was a Luna of the past but her exact identity is still unknown.

Boom!!

Out of nowhere, a loud crash shook the entire room.

All Alpha Primes turned to the corner of the room and saw a Beta planted into the wall, it slid down to the floor—leaving a trail of blood. Its armor cracked open—and it choked on its own blood, dying slowly.

In an instant, the Alpha Prime of the Beta stood up, "What is the meaning of this?!"

Upon hearing this, Adhara's eyes glowing white eyes turned to that Alpha Prime.

"Is there a problem?" Adhara asked—her eyes squinting before she shrugged dismissively as if killing the Beta, was nothing. "I don't like the way he looks at the Luna, you should properly teach your Betas more manners"

Just as the Alpha Prime was about to retaliate, Evelyn glanced over at him.

Almost instantly, the Alpha Prime was frozen—the gaze has a petrifying effect.

He turned to Princess Selene for help but the princess shook her head.

Seeing this, the Alpha Prrime's face darkened as he reluctantly sat back down.

As if the tension was not already high enough, teetering on the brink—of exploding, Adhara's stunt heightened it even further. Everyone was focused on the moment and only then did the Silverstar Pack advance to the center.

Losing Prince Leif was a huge blow to the Scarlet Banes Kingdom.

Even though they are a high-rank Supernatural race—they were now weaker.

Compared the the Clarentium Empire, their kingdom wasn't ready for a battle, and the Alpha Primes present in this room knew it. Because of that, despite their unwillingness to meet the Silverstar Pack, they couldn't force them out.

It made the tension all the more higher.

However, there was one who couldn't stand the situation the most.

"You're not welcome here!" Unable to hold his anger, the Alpha Prime—with the Blood Moon King Mark thundered—glaring at the Silverstar Pack. "Take your filthy false blood out of this sacred place!"

Following his lead, the other Alpha Primes also chimed in—showing their disapproval.

But even then, this didn't affect the Silverstar Pack at all.

Princess Selene lifted her hand to silence them while keeping eye contact with Evelyn.

'So this is the Silverstar Pack's Luna...' She thought, probing Evelyn up and down.

She had already seen Adhara and Gistella in action but she had never seen the Luna before, and worse of all, she knew close to nothing—about the Silverrstar Pack's Luna. All she knew was that the Luna was also the Empress of the Clarentium Empire.

Also, she had heard whispers that the Luna's position was shaken by a Vampire Princess.

But that wasn't good news for her and the Scarlet Banes Kingdom.

'In my years of experience, anyone in her position would be more sensitive,' Princess Selene pondered, struggling to keep her composed expression. 'this could go south very quickly if I don't be careful'

Nobody in a shaken position would be calm and content.

Contrary, they would be very sensitive and fierce—the Luna wouldn't be an exception.

Once the room was silent, Princess Selene finally spoke.

"I hope you understand that this... this is uncalled for, Luna" She said with a firm tone.

Upon hearing this, Evelyn tilted her head, "What's uncalled for?"

"Coming here unannounced to ambush us," Princess Selene clarified.

Evelyn waved her hand, her lips curving into a smile, "I'm not here to ambush anyone, and I'm certainly not here—because I knew there would be this... gathering you have. Though I could guess why you're worried about our visit"

Her words seemed to be a normal clarification to ease the tension.

But Princess Selene could tell the deeper meaning, her intonation said it all.

"I was informed the Royal Black Prince was the one asking for an audience, where is he?"

"My Alpha, wanted to be the one to speak to you—but with so many Alpha Primes, gathered here, he changed his mind. A room so full of insolence might be a little bit too much even for my Alpha. I'm sure you understand, he has a history of not being able to hold back after all"

Naturally, Evelyn's response made the Alpha Primes' expressions sour.

All of them were offended by her words and it shows.

Princess Selene then finally asked, "What is your purpose for coming here, Luna?"

"A courtesy visit," Evelyn replied, clasping her hands in front elegantly. "Tell me, princess— what is your stance if the Scarlet Banes Kingdom joins my empire? And since all of you are here, I also wanted to know your views on the matter..."
