The Female Assassin Pretends to Be a Lamb in the Campus

Chapter 235: Cheng Jinyan is pressed to the Bed

Chapter 235

Cheng Jinyan's chest was soaked with sweat, sticking to the medicated wound. It felt very uncomfortable.

Seeing the bedding dirtied, Wuma Liya yelled at Cheng Jinyan to get off the bed angrily.

Just then, a subordinate came rushing to report: "Miss, the fourth head of the house is here. Our men couldn't stop him."

Wuma Liya was shocked. She then stepped forward and warned Cheng Jinyan viciously: "My fourth uncle is Wuma Lin's father. If you don't want to be dragged away and fed to the leopards later, then behave yourself and hide here for this young miss."

After saying that, she grabbed the quilt and wanted to stuff it into Cheng Jinyan's mouth to gag him.

Cheng Jinyan dodged: "I won't make any noise."

Wuma Liya glanced at him and instructed her men to keep an eye on him. She then turned around and left the bedroom.

Wuma Liya had just closed the door when Wuma Lin's father barged in with his men.

Wuma Liya said unpleasantly: "Fourth uncle, what are you doing?"

Wuma You: "Liya, hand that person over. Fourth uncle wants to kill him to avenge your eldest brother."

Wuma Liya: "I've let him go already."

Wuma You's expression changed instantly as he yelled angrily: "Let him go? Who allowed you to let him go? He killed your sixth brother, how could you let him go?"

In the bedroom, Cheng Jinyan heard Wuma Liya arguing with the visitor.

Wuma Liya was calm and unruffled: "My father told me to let him go. I must obey my father's words. If you have any issues, go ask my father."

Wuma You: "You-"

Wuma You's gaze shifted from Wuma Liya's face to the bedroom door. Suspicion flashed across his eyes. He then stepped forward to push the door open.

Wuma Liya said at this moment: "He was injured. He couldn't have gone far and must still be in Suriname."

Wuma You halted his actions.

Wuma Liya continued: "He might be in some hospital. Instead of wasting time with me here fourth uncle, you should hurry and send people to catch him back, cut off his head and avenge sixth brother. But I must remind fourth uncle to do it cleanly. That guy has a powerful background. We can't stir up trouble for the family. Also, he's very skilled. I lost many subordinates when I caught him."

Wuma You stared fixedly into Wuma Liya's eyes.

Wuma Liya met his scrutinizing gaze directly.

After a tense moment, Wuma You left with his men.

Once they were gone, Wuma Liya immediately returned to the room and ordered her subordinates: "Bring him with us."

When Wuma You's men told him that the person was still with Wuma Liya, she had already fled with Cheng Jinyan.

Wuma Liya brought Cheng Jinyan to the border town of Alberta. It was a place with a mixed bunch.

Cheng Jinyan also knew that the innocent-looking yet vicious little lady before him might not really want him dead. But Wuma Lin's father would truly kill him. So he was very cooperative on the road.

However, Wuma Liya was a spoiled young miss who had been immersed in violence since young. She had a fickle temperament and was hard to coax. Just after arriving at their lodgings, she whipped Cheng Jinyan a few times for no reason out of displeasure.

The new shirt Cheng Jinyan had changed into was whipped until it tore open again.

Seeing the blood staining his fair shirt, Wuma Liya finally felt satisfied and temporarily spared him. She even called a doctor to treat his wounds.

After getting his wounds re-treated, Cheng Jinyan sighed softly and called her: "Hey, where are my glasses?"

Cheng Jinyan squinted his eyes.

Seeing that his eyes couldn't focus, Wuma Liya stepped forward and waved her hand in front of his eyes. She then moved closer to stare at his eyes.

Cheng Jinyan: "I'm nearsighted by over a thousand degrees. Without my glasses, I'm as good as blind."

Wuma Liya took out a dagger: "Since you're as good as blind, this young miss might as well dig out your eyes."

Cheng Jinyan: "Your fourth uncle will be chasing us soon. Are you sure you want to be on the run with a blind man?"

Wuma Liya: "Why would this young miss need to bring you along? Even if he catches up, I can still continue torturing you. Once I'm satisfied, I'll let my fourth uncle cut off your head. "

It was late into the night.

Wuma Liya took a bath and came out from the bathroom drying her beautiful long brown curly hair.

Cheng Jinyan was tied up in a chair in her room with his arms behind his back.

Perhaps she really mistook the bespectacled Cheng Jinyan for a blind man. Wuma Liya didn't avoid Cheng Jinyan at all as she walked around in her nightgown.

She dried her hair and climbed into bed to sleep, obviously letting down her guard towards the "blind" Cheng Jinyan.

In the middle of the night, the half-asleep Wuma Liya felt a dagger press against her delicate neck.

In the moonlight, Cheng Jinyan's dark eyes were deep and bright as if they could see into one's heart.

He was clearly no blind man as she had thought.

Realizing she had been deceived, Wuma Liya was furious.

"Move and I'll cut off your head and chop you into pieces to feed the leopards," Cheng Jinyan threatened with her words.

Wuma Liya was no scaredy cat. Her eyes showed no trace of fear, only fierce glaring at him.

Outside were her men standing guard. Cheng Jinyan moved closer to her and lowered his voice: "So young yet so viciously ruthless. I think it'd be best to chop off your hands first, or maybe take a whip dipped in saltwater and flay off a layer of your skin."

Without his glasses and wielding a dagger, Cheng Jinyan was a far cry from the righteous and principled man full of legal jargon.

Hearing his words, Wuma Liya shuddered in fright and tears welled up in her eyes, streaming down her cheeks all at once.

Cheng Jinyan was taken aback, thinking he might have seen wrongly. He couldn't help but lean in closer to take a good look.

Really scared to tears?

Didn't seem like just a paper tiger.

Cheng Jinyan had no fondness for scaring little girls to tears. Seeing her cry, he was too lazy to waste more time. He was about to grab her as a hostage so he could escape first.

But the bawling Wuma Liya from just a second ago suddenly erupted and grabbed Cheng Jinyan's arm to press him down onto the bed.

Oh no, he had fallen into her trap.

A woman's tears were most deceiving indeed.

Cheng Jinyan didn't intend to hurt her. He dodged the dagger in his hand.

With his injuries, any movement would tug at his wounds painfully. And Wuma Liya was somewhat skilled too. Cheng Jinyan was pinned down by her onto the bed.

"Tsk!" Cheng Jinyan sucked in a breath of cold air.

This little vixen actually grabbed his wounds.

Straddling Cheng Jinyan in her nightgown, Wuma Liya pressed her knees on both his arms. She then viciously squeezed Cheng Jinyan's neck with both hands.

Cheng Jinyan's neck had whip wounds. Her squeeze really hurt.

Hearing the commotion, her men outside charged in with their guns: "Miss!"

Cheng Jinyan was tied up again.

Cheng Jinyan thought to himself resignedly: Villains die from too much talking. Thankfully he wasn't a villain, or he would be dead already.

Wuma Liya stood before Cheng Jinyan with a whip in hand.

"Dare to trick this young miss by pretending to be blind. I must dig out your eyes." Wuma Liya lashed out and a whip wound split open immediately on Cheng Jinyan's body.

Seeing the silent enduring Cheng Jinyan, Wuma Liya felt completely unsatisfied, not appeased at all.

As she looked at the gentlemanly yet wicked Cheng Jinyan, a thought suddenly occurred to her.

She excitedly ordered her subordinates: "Go find some women for this young miss."
