Chapter 159 - Should We Move In Together?
They enjoyed the afterglow together for a good half an hour before they decided to leave the bed and had dinner.
Loriel wanted to continue with their lovemaking for the next rounds and if possible until morning came. However, he didn't want her to skip dinner for sex, no matter how mindblowing it was.
His Elise naturally had a weak body and he wanted to care for her and make sure that she wouldn't fall ill.
"Let's eat something," he whispered to her ear and kissed her forehead. "Then, we can cuddle in bed and talk about the wedding or our plans for the future,"
Elise opened her eyes and smiled faintly. She like that.
Loriel got down from the bed and put on his clothes back. He gave Elise a night robe so she could wear it. Ahh.. if only he also had his robe in her bedroom, it would be nice. He didn't have to put his clothes on just to have dinner.
Who knows, they would do it again after they eat?
"Thank you," said Elise. She got down from the bed and put on the robe. Her hair was slightly damp because of the vigorous lovemaking earlier. Her face flushed red looking fresh and healthy.
She looked so stunningly beautiful.
"I wish I had my robe here too," said Loriel in regret. He cast his glance around the room and thought this room was quite spacious. Even if he moved in here, there was still so much space for them both.
But, would Elise accept him to invade her space? His wife in the past would be so happy to have him in her chamber.
In fact, she asked their butler to move some of Loriel's stuff into her chamber so the man would have his clothes and other necessities when they spent time together.
But the current Elise… would she do the same?
"Do you want to have some of your clothes here, Loriel?" Elise looked at the man with her big doe eyes and made his heart flutter.
For a few seconds, Loriel couldn't remember that he had to answer her question.
"Huh?"
"I said, do you want to move some of your clothes here?" Elise repeated her question. "That way… when you need to get dressed after we… uhm, you can."
"Can I?" Loriel was beaming with happiness when he heard her suggestion. He thought this was a really good sign. Maybe he could ask her about moving in together.
Well, they already lived in the same house, but until now they had their own bedrooms. They were sharing a bedroom in Japan but it was during the holiday and it would be weird to have their own rooms in the hotels they were staying at as guests and sleep separately.
But now they were back at home and were already engaged to be married. Soon, they would be husband and wife anyway. Shouldn't they start sleeping together from now on?
He would want her to be the first thing he saw in the morning after he opened his eyes, and the last thing he saw at night before he closed them.
"Yes, you can," Elise replied.
"Uhm… I'm actually thinking of moving in with you," Loriel continued his words.
Elise furrowed her brows. "We already live together."
"No, I mean.. uhm, we will soon get married and become husband and wife (again). And we will sleep together every night after we get married." Loriel looked at his wife deeply. "What do you think if we sleep in the same room from now on?"
"Ohh…" Elise cast her glance around her room and tried to imagine if she would be comfortable sharing this place with Loriel.
Well, they just got engaged. She still had time to get used to him on her bed, in her room.
But now, it seemed Loriel wanted them to start sleeping together in the same room?
"I mean… I understand if you don't want to do it before we get married," Loriel quickly said, He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "I can wait. Or if you want us to move in together, we can also stay in my room. You can have the walk-in closet. I don't use it much."
Elise chuckled when she heard him. The woman pursed her lips. "Uhm… can we think about it after we eat? I'm hungry."
"Ah, of course," said Loriel. "I am just making a suggestion. You don't have to say yes or no. But I will definitely bring some of my clothes here."
"Okay."
"Shall we eat?"
"Yes, please."
Loriel took Elise's hand and took her to the dining room. He decided to not bring up the subject again. If Elise wanted to sleep with him in the same room, she would say so. Loriel would just wait to hear what she decided.
Loriel quickly whipped up two steaks for them and the couple ate heartily. They talked about their holiday in Japan and the proposal today. Elise agreed to consult Alex on the wedding plans.
After dinner, they came back to Elise's room. Loriel wanted to take his clothes from his room to bring to Elise's place, but the woman suddenly stopped him.
She said, "I've been thinking…"
"Yes?" Loriel looked at Elise intently. "Is there anything you want?"
"I think it's better if I put some of my clothes in YOUR bedroom." She touched his hand and squeezed it. "The thing is, I work, and sometimes I have to get up earlier than you since I have to go to the office."
She added, "So if I left, you can still sleep in your own bed. But if you came and sleep in my room and then I have to leave you, you might have to move to your own room to continue your rest."
"Oh…" Loriel nodded in understanding. "I see."
"Your room is also bigger and nicer," Elise chuckled. "So, I hope to move there later when we are married. That's why it's good if we practice from now."
Loriel grinned happily. He liked Elise's logic.

From the author:
For The Cursed Prince, I write as I go, but for The Cursed King, I usually have a rough draft of what I want and every day I will revisit the draft and decide to change something or not (so, double work).
Sometimes I will add more things to the draft and the story will change a little.. Just like today, I decided to add more banter between Loriel and Elise on whether they should move in together or not, instead of immediately move the scene to the next day.
