Temporal Pearls

Four hours later Seth woke up. He found his position adjusted to a comfortable sleeping position.

With a thought, Seth was about to stand but he fell back. He tried again but he failed. He frowned before he smiled ruefully.

Ha calmed down as he began to move gradually the way he was used to whever he woke up from sleep.

Thanks to the thought of his mother, he saw his usual pill on a table beside him. He took them and in mins he felt ergetic and walked to the bathroom to relieve himself.

"You wake up?" Sarah asked.

She tried hard to stop herself from frowning as she saw him struggling to walk normally.

'So, it was a temporary effect! But what causes it?' She thought.

After preparing, Seth met with his mother's good frids. They had come to see his Workshop Gallery and wished him success.

All this happed because Sarah couldn't help but boast about her son's capabilities.

As Seth oped his eyes in the game, he quickly jumped up, he felt stronger here than in real life. He th called his window, his stats were the same.

"So what happed?"

Seth's strgth yesterday in the real world was comparable to a normal human. But after spding 5hrs, his body collapsed again.

Now, he was confused. He didn't know what made his body rejuvate in real life. Unable to come up with anything, he dismissed the thought.

Seth grabbed his staff and walked out. A refreshing cool breeze blew on his face. He felt ergetic and free of any negative emotions.

His next thought was, that being left alone in the wilderness might not be too bad, right?

Seth activated Aura Sight and looked a.  His colourful sight changed to gre as usual. Though the more he saw it the more weird ssation increased and that put his mind at ease. Three seconds later, Aura Sight was deactivated.

"Today will be a training session. I will activate Aura Sight every five minutes. And th during that 5 minutes, I should look at the staff fighting style I bought."

Seth has prepared to train himself but with a low Constitution he failed to do it, that was before the world mission. However, with the additional in his attribute, he felt now he could keep up. He just has to be patit and take it easy.

The training wasn't anything grand but just to build muscle memory. He had se Anna and others trained with their respective similar weapons in the real world and they say it improved their mastery in the game.

Staff Training Session and Aura Sight During 5m interval. After hr Seth dropped down and gasped.

It was not straight up for hr. Nevertheless, the fatigue did load over.  At the very least he felt his connection with Staff deeped.

"So, there are these hidd features. The more I use my weapon the more connected I feel with it. I think it has the same training path as Body Traits…"

Seth drank from Soothing Gourd and in just 3 minutes he felt himself again.  After that, he brought out the Womb and checked its details.

"The only sad truth about these was, there is no way I can defeat a Dragon. If only I had this Womb wh I struck that Six Wing Dragon during the First trial things would have be amazing."

"Let's see... The Womb is in Good Health? Does that mean normal isn't optimum health for us players?"

"It's understandable. I did assume my Health will read Weak or Sick, but it only indicates Normal. It means that I am my normal self."

"Distant charging is self-explanatory. I can charge it wh I was far away from the womb and maybe wh I store it in the invtory, right"

"Well, I truly have confidce in myself regarding the Mtal Fortitude but the only trouble I have was to defeat a Dragon. Anyway, let's continue charging."

Seth winced as he felt something drilled through his back head. His ears become disorited later; it's as if he immersed his head in the water.

"That was annoying!"

Seth drank from Soothing Gourd and th he was back to normal. The reason he did not panic despite the sudd stinging pain was his health status did not change.

"The old information and the new one were displayed minus a few of them. But the only differce was that the charging has to reach 50% before I can fertilize it"

Seth didn't understand why but it doesn't matter, he will see all the stages and study the womb gradually for future purposes.

"Maybe, I might become a Dragon Tamer in the future!"

From th Seth proceeded to experimt with the single Attribute the Womb obtained.

Distance charging!

What Seth understood was that the more stages it passes the longer the time to charge it.  And that will evtually make the Stimulator become a sitting duck but if one can move a while he keeps the womb safe somewhere and still charging, it will be better.

Seth held the Womb and tapped his t-shirt Pocket and stored the Womb in it. The connection with Womb was reduced and the rate of charging also was halved.

"Okay, that was informative!"

Seth brought it out of the Womb and placed it in the cottage. After he looked a confirming there was no predator or anyone that may take his Womb, he walked toward the forest to test the actual distance.

Groan!

"Well… understandably, I'm hungry?! Yesterday, I did not eat anything despite the tedious running and the communication with Nanncy."

Seth was in an excited state yesterday and that was why hunger evaded him. But now he was much more composed.

He left the town surings and walked a the forest looking for edible fruits. And in no time he gathered a lot and he th filled his basket with the differt fruits. Some he knew while others he didn't.

With a smile, he came back and brought a water container and placed it before him. He poured water from the Soothing Gourd and washed the fruits.

But wh he took a bite of one of the fruits that looked like a Peach, Seth felt… not comfortable, almost disgusted. His atttion was th dragged toward a wandering Gizelle.

"You gotta be kidding me!"

[Womb Stimulator Preferable Diet Is Meat!]

"If I had not be imposed with these issues, I would have said the game has softed… why the hell everything has to be fucking complicated!" Seth complained.

"Wait, does that mean I'm pregnant? And do pregnant wom ev really need to eat meat?"

Seth frowned as he gazed at the cottage that the womb was in. "Am I really pregnant?"

"The game said the Womb is self-sufficit so, why am I being influced to eat meat? If I'm vegetarian that will be a problem!"

Tsk!

"Ev in the game vegetarians don't eat meat, right?" Seth complained before he stood and tered stealth. He was going to hunt the only animal he saw.

As Seth hid behind a bush and watched the Gazelle grazing the grass he held his staff.

~Short Sword!

He unsheathed the sword, th he aimed the sharp tip of the sword at the animal. It was th he thought, is he really going to kill the only animal with him?

Grumble!

His stomach grumbled again and that answered and he...

Shoot!

The short sword extded faster than the eye can see and pierced the neck of the gazelle.

The animal didn't ev react to it. Blood sprouted from the neck and the gazelle began to run, but it only took three steps before it fell down.

~Increase Perception!

Seth checked to see if there was anything that changed in his surings. He was hoping the smell of blood would attract a predator or something.

But there was nothing!

Apart from nothing showed, Seth did not hear the game notification. There was no EXP for him or the staff. There was also no notification announcing the death of the animal.

"This game has a Pride System in it." That was the only conclusion he arrived at. What that meant was wh one surpassed certain feats there would no longer be a notification for those feats.

Seth took the game back to his cottage and began to dissect it; he was grossed in that by following the guidebook he received as a gift and th he looked toward the north.

An Antelope was standing a the periphery of the forest, looking at him! Meeting his eyes, the Antelope jumped back, and ran!
