_____

Players stared at the notification. Everyone had his thoughts but most were attracted to number 7.

While big corporations were staring at number 6. They want nothing but to establish themselves in-game. With that, they will have the same influce as in the real world. They were already scouting outstanding players to build their power.

Seth was fascinated by all of it. To him, one should cherish and joy all that a game has to offer.

One thing he has never done in his life as a gamer was establish a Guild. To him, it limits players' freedom. At the same time, he considered it another part of joy he has not expericed yet!

Seth laughed as he was excited about the future.

"Already excited for the Classes?" Nanncy asked. Her attitude did change a bit but she tried hard to act approachable before Seth.

"Nope, no one knows how the classes will be. By the way Master Nanncy, did you know anything about languages?"

"I speak 9 languages and I have it as Talt?"

Seth gawked at her, "How many talts do you have?"

"I think it's about 5 or so!" She said.

"Can I have language as a talt, please?" He asked with puppy eyes.

She stared at him for some time before she nodded. To his surprise it was easy. For the duration of six hours, he grabbed another language. His comprehsion was off the chart.

***

Seth sighed as he finished copying the last book in the Chiefs' library.

"It has be sev days, and it was only today that the beasts retreated. We, the players, are the major defce. Sadly, I'm not equipped for that kind of fight. Many players obtain titles that give them royalty with the Chief except for me!"

Seth th frowned. It has be three days since he saw Nanncy. It's as if she disappeared.

Three days ago he discussed the matter of game language with her and wh she checked, she confirmed it. From th she began to act strangely and th Seth stopped seeing her.

He did want to know what she found out. And he hoped she would come back. But maybe she stopped logging into the game!

It was night in the Vulcan village, from time to time a howl of wolves would be heard. Seth was nothing but a Scribe for the village. He helped them finalize contracts and documt a deal.

Both players and villagers view him as an extra. One of those that play without a goal. Well, except wh he was with Nanncy. Which they believe he was her errand boy.

Since he called her Master all the time. All this was because he hid his art from everyone. Maybe they might have considered him a good artist.

Seth raised his head and looked through the window. A bright light was moving in the sky, it was a comet!

"Amazing!" Seth whispered.

Gong!

Gong!

Gong!

Gong!

The Town bell rang.

Seth frowned. Ever since the village was elevated to Town, that bell just appeared. Stories from the elderly said, whever it rang itself…Calamity is here!

Seth stood and walked to the ctre of the Manor. It has an op sky. There was a blazing comet moving in the sky. Its destination was a few kilometres from Vulcan Town!

Th the world froze!

"Looks like we have to do it. This town was sured by forest and beyond it was a desolate land. Our level is not high ough to leave on our own" one of the veteran players whispered to his people. He and his group have explored beyond the forest!

The momt the players accepted the quest. The guards of Vulcan moved out armours from the Manor and distributed them to the players.

Large crossbows were stationed on the town's wall. A mini-tower was brought out from the Manor and was planted at the ctre of the town.

In just a second it grew tall and dwarfed the whole town. A bright light cast and illuminate the town and its suring.

Suddly it rang, the ring made everyone listing sse the beasts croaching and the distance remained.

Players were surprised by that magic. For that, no one needed to notify them wh the beast arrived.

But the other function made them flabbergasted. All Azure's and town soldiers were able to comprehd their duty.

Abuhi Vulcan stood beside the tower and raised his right hand. The hand glowed blue and everyone in the town felt something differt.
