Chapter 123: XII: Arrival
12/31/2020
Midgard, London.
Billions of people all around the world were preparing for the new year celebration while in an alley hidden from view of others, multiple strange noises echoed in the area when a rupture opened in the fabric of space releasing a tattered human figure. This tattered figure looked horrific, dozens of injuries, scars...
The figure was equipped in some sort of golden armor that looks like a fusion of a medieval and sci-fi armor. Although It looked to be completely destroyed with several holes and pieces that fell from it, there was a hundred runes inscribed in the armor that radiated a faint red glow, signalizing the health of the figure in the armor.
Groaning in pain, the figure tried to get up only to fell. At the same time, a group of people in shabby clothes were in the corner of the alley when they noticed the golden armor and their eyes shined.
Slowing approaching the figure with malice in their eyes, the figure seemed to sense something and the moment one of the shabby people touched the figure's shoulder, the atmosphere in the area changed when the hand of the man passed through the air and when he searched around he saw that the figure was already standing three meters away from them and the could finally see the figures face.
Short golden hair, shiny blue eyes than glowed with lightning, the face was covered by dirt, but it was clear she was a female from her delicate facial features. At the same time her body also seemed illusory, like a specter.
"From where do those bunch of mortals came from to think they would try to touch me. I followed my little brother traces around the stars thinking I would find my world, but I ended here. I need to " Muttering in a low voice, she dissolved in the air like she never existed, as for the people that approached him, they quickly walked away thinking they must be crazy. Then she appeared at the top of a tall clock tower from where she gazed at the city bellow that she could not see the end.
"Ahh, this place looks so big, how I can find him? Even Lord Apolo has allied himself with Cosmos, I can only depend of my specter power for now." She could not forged all the things she saw on the last 8 months, from the second she escaped using Yggdrasil, she found herself in the Tartarus where a great part of the magical, prime and mythical beasts go when they die. It was also where the Titans were sealed.
The time she spent there was a hell that she could never forget, but it also helped her uncover the power from her bloodline, become a true specter and find two spatial teleportation scrolls. But before she found the way out, she discovered that some of the titans had been gone.
When she escaped, she immediately looked for her master, what it took an entire month as she is not his only follower but all of this only served for her to discover that he did not cared about the titans and he even seemed to already know they had broken the seal.
When she finished the communication, she felt that something was wrong and then a group of fifty devil cultivators in the sixth realm invaded the exact same town she was, killing the people in the town.
In the end, she managed to kill some of them before being gravely wounded and needed to use a space teleportation scroll to survive.
She also used her brother's aura to guide her to where he was, but it must have failed because she was now in a place completely unknown to her.
