Chapter 161
Chapter 161: Inherited Bloodline Class
“Why should I accept? You should help your mother and talk to your sister more since she has no memories of you two.” Vincent didn’t give in to their provocation. He kept a calm and collected demeanor.
“Aren’t you super strong to finish a Demonic Beast? Don’t tell me your injuries made you weaker than a child.” Lenn insulted.
“Ye, we’re only fourteen years old. Do you dare run away from a fight?” Renn added.
Vincent didn’t look very irritated by their taunting. He was used to ignoring people, waiting for the time to pass, and later going home to read a story or watch a video.
However, it wasn’t the case for Ester and Lupa. Ester frowned at their rude exaggerated behavior. She knew Vincent would never touch Tula in that kind of way. On the other hand, Lupa couldn’t allow her precious mate to receive more insults.
Lupa got out of the bed and angrily walked in front of the twins. She raised her hand and copied what Vincent once thought her to do to rude people. Her hand quickly closed, leaving the middle finger raised.
“You human pups aren’t worthy to mock my mate and receive an ass whooping, fool!. His right-hand woman will do it instead.” Lupa flipped the bird at the twins while saying a few words Kazumi secretly taught her at night.
.....
-Kazumi sensei. Should I worry what you are teaching the innocent Lupa?-
[Oh. I wonder what you are talking about. I bet Ester taught her to do this. I’m innocent, *whistle*]
Lenn and Renn flustered when Lupa approached them. The two young teenagers didn’t know where to look when they noticed how pretty Lupa was up close. Her delicate fingers and her alluring figure made the twins blush.
“Cat got your tongue, boys? ” Vincent felt in a good mood teasing the twins. He saw his old self in them. The old Vincent would become flustered at the sight of beauty.
“I don’t fight against women! I’m an honorable person.” Lenn said in his defense.
“I can’t hit a pretty woman even if she isn’t a human. I have moral values of honor.” Renn added while blushing a bit more.
Lupa turned her gaze on Ester and raised a smirk. Then she said while her tail wagged, “These human pups aren’t that bad. They know I’m pretty, hehe.”
“Why don’t we do this then? If you can beat my wolf girl, I will let you fight me. As you two can see, I become weak, and my strength isn’t as it once was. What do you say, gentlemen?” Vincent offered.
“But...” Both twins said at the same time. The mood in the room changed when Lupa wanted to fight. The twins changed from being angry to becoming shy and refusing to fight.
“Vincent, can I get a reward if I teach these human pups a lesson?” Lupa didn’t want to lose the perfect opportunity to acquire a reward.
The addition of Plow made Lupa feel a bit jealous. It didn’t look like wolves and foxes had a great relationship. The two races treated each other as rivals.
“Hmm... I know! How about I wash you?” Vincent announced.
Ester, “W-wh-what!”
Lupa, “Yey! I will win for sure now.”
Lenn, “P-pervert!”
Renn, “How lucky... I mean. Pervert!”
[I never thought a day like this would come. You have finally grown up. Vincent is about to become a man at last.]
Vincent scratched his head in confusion. He noticed how everyone looked at him, and the sudden realization struck him.
“W-what are you all thinking about? Geez. Ester washed Plow yesterday, so I will do the same to Lupa in her wolf form.” Vincent blushed and revealed his intentions. He only mentioned this kind of reward after reminiscing the old Earth days when he washed Kevin’s dog.
“Ahh...” Ester eased after understanding Vincent’s intention, yet, in the end, Vincent was still going to wash Lupa.
Ester imagined many things, and when the imaginations ran wild, her heart couldn’t stop racing. Ester thought about what sexy accidents might happen. Her cheeks couldn’t help but blush.
“I won’t be far and help if needed when you reward Lupa. No one can beat Lupa if a reward is on the line, so I’ll go and prepare. ” Ester said while getting out of the bed and leaving the room with a bright glowing face. Her embarrassment reached the limit, and she went to hide her appearance with the same old excuse.
“Same old Ester, hehe.” Vincent slowly got out of the bed, acting feeble and weak. Vincent tried to remove any reasons to fight against him. Moreover, Vincent hoped to persuade the twins that Lupa was the only fighter available on the roster.
[I’m going after Ester. I want to see what she is doing, haha.]
Kazumi left Vincent’s body and merrily went after Ester. She enjoyed watching Ester fluster as if watching a live romance drama.
“Hurry off now. Don’t you two need to get your equipment to fight my girl?” Vincent incited.
Lenn and Renn didn’t know what else to do. Momentarily, both nodded at each other and left.
Lupa was about to leave when Vincent stopped her. Lupa looked at him with a puzzled expression, but it soon turned into a frown. Vincent began explaining what Lupa should and shouldn’t do. To fight with a handicap and not at full strength.
Lupa took quite a while to understand how she should fight. The days in the forest and fighting for their lives were over for now. She shouldn’t fight with the intent to kill as she always did. She shouldn’t try to kill the twins.
A while later, Vincent and Lupa entered the kitchen. On the table was a delicious breakfast which almost made Lupa forget about the fight.
Every person had a small bowl of mixed fruit composed of sliced Ani Banana and sliced apples drizzled with honey. A toasted sandwich with sliced ham and melted cheese poking from the sides stood beside it and an egg per person between the two.
“I heard what my boys decided to do. I will give them a stern warning and a punishment when this is all over.” Yula apologized.
“N-no need madam... I mean Yula. It’s simply a spar and nothing else. Lenn, Renn, and my Lupa will learn from each other.” Vincent tried to turn this event into training.
“Then I will give the boys a light punishment. Like cleaning the plates or clean the house.” Yula then extended her hand and continued, “Please take a seat and eat breakfast with us.”
An hour quickly passed. Everyone finished eating at their own leisure and waited for the food to digest since Lupa, Lenn, and Renn are about to do a strenuous activity.
Plow took a few bites and barked *Pho* once or twice. The little blue fox looked better after a good night’s sleep and eating good food. Plow also secretly turned its gaze on Vincent from time to time. Plow stared at the warm human bed, which provided the best sleep in her entire young life. It appeared Plow considered Vincent as an important person for the wrong reasons.
Sometime later, three people stood in the yard while the audience sat on the edge of the kitchen floor. Lenn held a shield and a sword, while Renn held two swords.
In front of the two stood Lupa with a wide grin on her face and a pair of golden eyes looking at the twins as if looking at prey. Lupa’s arms glowed as they became bigger, and mesmerizing white fur covered her arms. Shortly, claws extended one after another until ten claws were armed for combat.
“Go easy on Tula’s brothers. Don’t get hurt, and don’t hurt them that much. Also, don’t destroy the trees.” Vincent asked Lupa for unreasonable demands. Furthermore, the twins took this as a provocation and wanted to beat Lupa quickly to teach Vincent a lesson.
“Okay, my mate. But are they strong? Do I need to play with these human pups until they become tired, or do I need to get serious?” Lupa asked.
Vincent understood and used Inspection on the twins.

Vincent and Kazumi became surprised when uncovering Lenn’s class. Similar to Kass, Lenn was a berserker and also possessed the same life-consuming power-up ability.
Vincent suddenly stood up and walked in front of Lenn. Vincent lowered his head at the five-foot teenager and whispered, “Does your family know about your class?”
Lenn flustered and took a few steps back while uttering in surprise, “You-you! How do you know? We kept it a secret!”
“What’s wrong, brother? What did he tell you?” Renn asked.
Vincent ignored their surprised faces and said like a referee, “This is a sparring match, so no fatal wounds nor fatal abilities must be used or done. Only use Wild Blow.”
Vincent then turned to Lupa and continued. “And Lupa, don’t use all your killing intent for a fair fight. They should give you a great fight.”
Vincent announced the rules and orders to both sides. He also made it clear that the twins didn’t look to be pushovers. The twins might be recent class awakeners similar to Lupa, but appearance is key in every fight.
Vincent didn’t think Lenn and Renn had enough experience to beat Lupa. However, every action has an unknown result. Lupa needed to be careful.
“H-how do you know I have the Berserker class! Only our family and uncle Ben know.” Lenn asked in shock.
“What?” Renn continued.
Yula flustered when she heard this. This is because the army is in great need of people with a Berserker class. The younger they are, the more power the ability provides. In Kass’s case, he barely had any life to burn. Thus the power-up received wasn’t very beneficial.
“Don’t worry. My unique class has an ability similar to basic Inspection.” Vincent answered after noticing the different subjects of the discussion. It felt like he touched on a taboo and the ability to inspect people’s information went under the radar.
Vincent then looked at Lenn and sternly lectured, “Lenn. I now know you are like your uncle, but I don’t want to see you follow his path for Tula’s sake. Time is precious, you know. Better use five years of your life training than waste five years to the Berserker ability in a few minutes.”
Lenn immediately understood what Vincent wanted to say. It was a question he asked his uncle multiple times after awakening two years ago. He started to view Vincent in a different light after offering advice in his best interest for the future.
Renn, “Brother. Why aren’t you angry? He is saying that our uncle wasted his life for nothing. Don’t you admire our uncle?”
.....
“I know, brother. But Vincent is right. It is better to grow stronger than using the last resort trump card. Our uncle didn’t have a choice after joining the special force. At least, the Lionheart family helped in sending his team to less dangerous areas when they had influence.” Lenn answered.
