Chapter 1370: Breaking the World

Shang Xia hadn’t joined the battle, but from what he observed from how they prepared the battle, to the tactics and special arts they unleashed, he felt that there was actually no need for him to join them.

He had taken part in many invasions and he also defended his world multiple times, but comparing it to what he was experiencing, he had been a joke.

Even up till that point, he had no idea how many hidden cards the Wanyun Association had.

He turned to look in another direction and saw 2 Twin Star Pirates holding back 3 True Immortals of the Spirit Dawn World.

Gong Zhuo noticed Shang Xia’s gaze and sighed sternly, “True Immortal Shang, you don’t need to guard against them... If anyone really has ill intentions, my Wanyun Association will step up to stop them. What Director Zhang wants you to do is to break the world!”

“Breaking the world?” Shang Xia frowned. It wasn’t that he didn’t know what it meant, but he was curious why Zhang Shun would pass him such an important task.

Gong Zhuo continued, “True Immortal Shang, you should have some way to avoid the suppression of the World’s Will, right?”

As such, there was no need to seal off the space any longer and the various Star Ships quickly gathered to hasten the progress of their invasion so that they could leave as soon as possible.

“Is he serious? Is he really going to get me to break the world?” Shang Xia confirmed once again.

Before Gong Zhuo could say anything, a deafening blast came from behind. Of the 10 Star Ships that were released from the Spirit Arks, 4 of them had already been destroyed. 3 others were greatly damaged and fell through the heavenly screen. Only 1 of them remaining 3 continued to fly through the void as 2 others were at risk of falling.

There were only 5 main Star Ships left of the 7 that came back to reinforce them. The reason for the destruction of the 2 was because they stood before the Spirit Arks to prevent them from being damaged.

The Twin Star Pirates lost a first tier True Immortal who was also a Stargazer. His twin, another first tier True Immortal who was left, had his combat strength dropped by half. He could only remain on the Spirit Ark to hold out against the brutal counterattack.

Other than them, a pair of second tier True Immortal twins stopped the assault of 3 True Immortals of the Spirit Dawn World, but from the looks of it, they were barely holding on.

Over at the Wanyun Association, other than Gong Zhuo and Zhang Shun, there were 4 other True Immortals. However, Shang Xia only detected 3 of them.

Zhang Shun was fighting the Spirit Dawn World’s fifth tier True Immortal. Even though the expert from the Spirit Dawn World was weakened by the damage to the World Origin Source, Zhang Shun was still suppressed by the World’s Will.

The Twin Star Pirates’ high-level True Immortals had combat strength greater than a fifth tier True Immortal when working together. However, they were also suppressed by the World’s Will and they were unable to gain an advantage while fighting a high-level Elysium True Immortal.

If not for the talismans Shang Xia crafted for the Wanyun Association in recent years, and for the fact that they were using it without holding back, their losses would be far greater!
