Speed Is King

Elliot had never doubted his instincts.

As soon as that tingling feeling appeared, he immediately reacted by leaping away to his right.

Silently, a beam of light shone on the ground on which he was standing a split second ago, and reduced it to ashes.

A giant and seemingly endless hole appeared!

“Holy Macaroni!!” Elliot shouted and transformed into his Fire Wolf Beast Form.

The beam of light shone towards him in an attempt to reduce him to ashes as it did the ground.

But thankfully, Elliot was able to enter stealth and he disappeared completely.

“Huh? Stealth mode?” A girly voice rang out from the sky. “You’re a tricky one, aren’t you. Fine, if you won’t roll over and die quietly like the rest of them, you’ll have to feel the pain of my boundless wrath. Take this!”

Hundreds upon hundreds of missiles suddenly burst through the clouds and rained down on a wide area around Elliot’s position.

“EAT MY MISSILES! HAHAHA! EAT IT! EAT IT! HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?” Came the shrill girly voice screaming maniacally.

“What the freaking hell?” Elliot shouted incredulously as he scrambled to get the hell out of the area of the missile bombardment. Although he was completely impervious to fire, who knows what the missiles contained apart from incendiaries?

“What’s with the merciless sneak attack?! And who the hell are you? You’ve well and truly pissed me off now!!!”

Elliot was no saint, but he was rather straightforward by nature, and would never do such a meaningless and evil act like sneak attacking a random person with overwhelming strength.

And so the sneak attack that literally vaporized the ground he was standing on mere moments ago instantly caused him to go nuts in anger.

“I’m the one that will kill you, pitiful worm!! HAHAHA! DIE!!”

The missiles continued to rain down mercilessly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As Elliot had suspected, they were no ordinary missiles. After they had exploded, a greenish mist appeared around the area.

“I knew it! They’ll never be so nice as to fire normal missiles at me! Jumping Jacksnot Jibbers!” Elliot cursed. “If I don’t rip you apart limb by limb and vaporize you the way you intend to vaporize me, my name is not Elliot!!.”

Elliot burst through the clouds and started to look for the vicious criminal who fired so many missiles at him.

“There you are!” Elliot narrowed his eyes in anger at the bus-sized dome-shaped spaceship which was floating in the sky while casually spewing out hundreds of missiles every single goddamn second.

“HAHAHA! ENJOYING YOURSELF? I HOPE YOU LIKE MY SPECIAL GREEN FLAMES! IT’S A POTENT COMBINATION OF FIRE AND POISON!” Cackled the evil girly voice loudly.

Elliot flew towards the dome shaped spaceship in his stealth form quietly. He intended to get on top of the spaceship and then revert to his human/dragonoid form before exploding out with the most powerful blow in his repertoire at that moment – Stage 2 Movement 5.

Hermit obliterates the mountain.

However, when he got within 10 meters of the spaceship, it suddenly glowed red and an urgent alarm began to blare throughout the spaceship.

“HUH? You’re here? And you actually can fly? You’re more powerful than I thought! But it doesn’t matter, you’re dead, ugly worm!” The girl shouted with a slight trace of panic in her voice.

“Who are you calling worm, you damned alien! And you’re the one who will die! Since you dare to come to my planet, then don’t bother leaving!” Elliot shouted and quickly transformed into his human/dragonoid form.

“WHAT? Your planet?? DAMN IT! Are you a Forbidden Target? Damn damn damn! I’m screwed!” The shrill, girly voice shouted loudly.

“You’re screwed indeed, not because I’m a Forbidden whatever. You’re screwed because you’ve pissed me off!!” Elliot roared and shot out towards the dome with his sword raised high.

“HERMIT OBLITERATES THE MOUNTAIN!!”

The 5th movement of Stage 2 only had 1 attack. It was a slow but extremely powerful killing blow that overdraws the user’s energy to deal 200% higher damage than usual. And because it contains so much energy, the nature energy it was able to manipulate was also much higher, resulting in a powerful attack that defied the imagination.

For Elliot to use such a heavy handed attack simply meant that he was completely pissed!

“WAIT! STOP!! I don’t want to fight with you anymore!!” The girly voice shouted.

“BREAK FOR ME!!” Elliot ignored her and shouted as he swung Gilgamar with all of his might towards the dome.

SCHLEB! SCHLEB! SCHLEB!

He felt Gilgamar punch through layer after layer of anti-magic and anti-matter shields as though they were mere thick layers of paper.

“STOPP!!!” The girl wailed loudly. “I SAID STOP!!”

Gilgamar’s sharp edge finally landed on the dome.

CRACK!!!

Strangely, the dome didn’t shatter the way Elliot thought it would. It merely cracked.

He had given his all behind his attack, and for the dome to merely crack meant that it was extremely, extremely powerful!!

“No matter how powerful your god damned dome is, I don’t believe it can last long against my continuous all out attack!” Elliot raged as he continued to swing his sword. That time, he targeted the ship’s thrusters.

BAM! CRACK!!

The dome ship was effectively crippled.

“HEY! I SAID STOP! STOP RIGHT NOW! I COMMAND YOU!!” The girl screamed. “IF YOU DON’T STOP, I WILL HATE YOU FOR LIFE!!”

“Hate me for life? Fine! You can hate me for the next five minutes then, because that’s how long you have left to live!” Elliot shouted back at her.

“YOU!! YOU’RE EVIL!” The girl shouted with a quivering voice.

“Evil? You’re one to talk! You tried to kill me, someone you don’t even know, via a sneak attack, and you dare call me evil? Preposterous! I will do this universe a favor and erase you from existence!” Elliot almost vomited blood when he got called evil by the evilest girl in existence.

“Elliot! Don’t kill her!!” Khellendra shouted from afar.

“HOLY GODS, he cracked the Dome Palace!!” Khalendros shouted in shock as he took stock of the situation.
