Chapter 225 Dark Emotions
The first floor consisted of four karaoke rooms, a counter at the end to order food, and benches on the other side of the floor. He looked for the room the birthday girl was.
He had two options– burst in or go in as a waiter and come out as himself. Well, he was good at being an imposter so he decided to go with the second option.
It did not matter though, whether he went in as a waiter or Ningen.
He had not prepared a plan or something to come out safely. But he had created a plan for ending everyone before anyone tries to run.
He needed a uniform. So he walked to the other side of the floor and waited for a room-service guy to show up. He took a seat on the benches, they were empty by the way.
He saw a man carrying a wooden trolly, heading towards the doors on the karaoke side. Tamashi got up and followed him, without looking suspicious. When he was out of the counterman's sight, he went close to the man with the trolly and grabbed his neck.
The man dropped unconscious before he could even struggle and try to get out of Tamashi's grip. Tamashi glanced around, no one was looking, so he dragged the man's body into an alley.
He threw his legs on the floor and pulled the trolly into the alley. He adjusted his coat and looked at the man lying on the floor.
"Your sacrifice will be remembered!" A dark cloud of smoke covered Tamashi, and the moment it left, he was wearing the same dress as the waiter.
Tamashi lifted his hands and checked the outfit. "Damn, is not it too baggy?"
It was. His arms puffed like a gorilla's and his legs looked like an elephant's, in that red and white uniform.
"Ah, heck, I am uncomfortable." Tamashi conjured another cloud of dark smoke and changed back into his original clothes.
He grabbed the collar of his cloak and adjusted it. Then he cracked his neck. He turned, and he saw the trolly standing in the middle with some food in it. "What is that thing?" he asked, frowning at the noodles covered with a plastic lid.
He shook his head and grabbed the trolly. He went to the room the birthday girl singing with her boyfriend– probably even having sex in there, who knows?
He knocked on the door. No one answered. He did not know there was an option to let the people inside know their order has arrived by clicking the button on the trolly, so he used dark magic to open the door.
Dark smoke came from his hand as he rested his hand on the handle. Then he twisted it open. He pushed the door and peeked from the gap. He saw around twelve kids inside.
He pulled back and left the door ajar. He dug his hand into the side of his pocket and drew his wand from the hook on the side. It was a black wand with darker than black vines over it.
Tamashi held his wand by the side, hiding behind the cart, and pushed the door with his other hand.
The kids in the room went silent and looked at Tamashi as he entered the room with his head held down. The boyfriend was frowning, the friends were angry about the interruption, and the girl was confused.
Tamashi kept his eyes down, and his grip on the wand tight as he closed the door behind him. The moment someone makes a move, he will fire a curse.
The boyfriend got up. "Why are you inside? And why did you lock the door?"
Tamashi had no answer to his question. So he held his head low and prepared to serve them the food. Or perhaps I will poison them, not much fun though, he thought.
Then three guys rose from the group of friends. They dropped their mics on the table in front and asked, "Why did you barge in? Do you want us to report you? Or are you new here? Perhaps you did not know that you have to keep our order outside after letting us know."
But then the birthday girl got suspicious. "W-Why is he not wearing the uniform? What are those dark, gloomy clothes?" Her voice broke at the end.
He had an answer to her question, but he decided to stay quiet. That got the boyfriend pissed. "Who are you? Where is your uniform? What is your name? Get out of the room, first of all, and open that damn door."
Jokes, fine. But insults and orders? Oh, you better shove them up your ass. Tamashi raised his eyes and glared at the boyfriend. "Do you wish a brutal death?" he asked in a coarse voice.
That did not bother the boyfriend at all. "What did you say? I dare you to say it one more time." He swung his arm to take control of Tamashi's shoulders.
Tamashi raised his wand and tucked it into the boyfriend's stomach. Blood poured from his mouth the instant his arm fell over Tamashi's back.
That was when it started. Dark energy entered the boyfriend's stomach and turned him into an undead. His blood, gushing from the guts, turned black and stopped all of a sudden.
The friends who saw this jumped to their feet and cried. But he was standing at the door, no way they could leave. The guys and brave girls drew their wands and fired multiple spells at him.
He pulled his wand out of the boyfriend's guts and swung it in front of him. He created a protective shield from the boyfriend's dark blood. That alone could not stop every spell so he made the boyfriend jump in front of him.
The girl covered his mouth and gasped when her friends killed her boyfriend. Tamashi was smiling under that mask of his as he enjoyed the gruesome death of the boyfriend. The friends panicked and did not know what to do.
They did not have to do anything. Tamashi killed every one of them, leaving the birthday girl for the last. She was screaming and shouting, but the room was enchanted with a sound-proof spell.
He jumped at her and grabbed her by the neck, then grabbed the cloth around her neck, and pulled her to the door. He kicked the door and dragged the girl near the brown glass panel.
She struggled again and tried to break free. He looked at her with wide eyes, she narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "W-Why?"
Tamashi could not help but laugh. "Because you are the birthday girl."
Then he swung her towards the panel and released his grip on her. She fled from his hand like a rock tied to a string. He felt her weight leaving his hands.
She screamed for the last time when she broke through the panel. Everybody in the plaza downstairs turned and stopped whatever they were doing. The kids were scared shit and decided to run when another outbreak happened outside the auditorium, on the lawn where the magic show was happening.
The rabbits he had enchanted attacked the magician out of nowhere and started biting his flesh off. The kids screamed and tried to run when the kid he had enchanted stepped forward.
He stabbed a fork through one's eye, the grill through another kid's stomach, and he made sure to eat the flesh of the last kid he could get his hands on.
When the rest of the kids tried to run, they could not break through the shield Tamashi had created. They were neither strong enough to cast a spell, nor brave enough to kill Tamashi and break free.
He threw the eleven bodies of the teens from the karaoke room. The ladies lost their minds and started screaming. The old men, as predicted, were petrified by the fear.
He followed the stairs and raced down to the ground floor. He glanced around, the people were staring at him, but most of them were trying to take their kids and run away. Then his eyes met with the man he had met before.
He was standing in the corner not after Tamashi nodded. He drew his wand and killed the man beside him. Then he cast a flamethrower spell that mass-murdered the five to ten people in the range.
While the people were screaming in agony and burning in pain, Tamashi walked to the stage and watched everything happen. He saw the dark emotions people were giving due to the pain and fear.
Tamashi stood at the top, enjoying the massacre and devouring the dark energy from every person. His motto for killing everybody here was not fun, it was to collect as much as dark emotions as possible to boost his dark mana.
The more emotions he absorbs, the stronger he will get. It was his ultimate goal– to get strong and deal with Saibai's fucking kid.
In the end, Tamashi set the auditorium on fire using the gasoline and fire set by the catering staff. It was an easy game as long as he does not get caught.
