Chapter 86: Who is Your Stepfather?
Under the sounds of applause and praise, Esmond presents himself in the arena, his arms as wide as his smile and his confident eyes aimed at Aria.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt your son if he surrenders quickly," A malevolent gleam appears in his eyes for a second as he whispers to himself. "Not too much, I guess…"
"..." Aria remains silent as old memories come to her mind, memories of a time when she was an adventurer and Draven was just part of her group. She remembers exactly his words in her mind. 'You can't beat him nearly to death just because he tried to touch your ass!'
'Draven always tried to contain his violent side, fearing ending up like his father, but Arthur is the opposite…' Aria can see the dark desire within her son through his eyes. 'He is going to hurt this fool... because he tried to mess with his Mommy… What a possessive boy~'
Arthur walks slowly towards the arena with a calm expression, but Oliver stops him and whispers in his ear. "Esmond is the weakest among the Viscount's children, so you don't need to exert yourself to the maximum... I mean, don't let them see all your potential in the first fight."
"Got it," Arthur nods, and Oliver taps his shoulder, "Show him what happens when someone messes with our mothers."
Arthur climbs into the arena with a jump and lands in front of Esmond, who smirks at him. "Look, kid, when I make your mother my second wife, you're going to be my stepson, so I can go easy on you; just follow my lead."
"You talk too much," Arthur comments as he takes off his vest and tosses it towards Margaret, who catches it quickly. He continues in pants and shoes, wearing his shirt tight against his muscles.
Esmond frowns at seeing the outline of Arthur's defined muscles, and of course, all the women present there have the same impressed reaction. "You want it the hard way, I see… your mother must have spoiled you, but I'll correct that… I'll teach her to do many things right, hehe…"
A black glow emerges in Arthur's blue eyes, and he closes them as he takes a deep breath. At the same time, Josephine raises a glass with one hand and a fork with the other. "On my signal..."
"We're going to have a lot of fun," Esmond continues his speech in a taunting tone with a lustful expression on his disgusting face. "Me and my new little whore... your mo-"
*Ding* The sound of Josephine's fork hitting the glass echoes through the courtyard, the starting signal.
*Whoosh* Arthur crosses the three-meter space between him and Esmond in the blink of an eye like a shadow.
'THE FU-!' Esmond only has time to think about reacting but can't do anything to avoid Arthur's fist hitting his face like a cold marble stone.
*BAM!*
He is knocked down immediately by the insane strength of Arthur; his head hits the arena floor like a hollow rock and rebounds while his blood spatters out of his mouth and nose; a piercing sound echoes in his head, he becomes dizzy, his vision blurs, and his senses go dormant due to the shock.
'W-w-what...' Esmond feels his body become heavy and then light; he is pulled up by Arthur like a soft bag of blood and bones.
"Are you alright?" Arthur asks in a playful tone while using his hand to hold Esmond upright by the shirt and waves the other in front of his dazed eyes. "Don't tell me I already broke you? No... that's not good," He laughs. "How are you going to be my stepfather like this?"
"Y-y-you!" Esmond tries to contain the pain in his head and punch Arthur, but he holds the poor man's fist easily.
"Oh, you still have some strength left?" Arthur mocks and punches Esmond in the stomach, making him spit out a lot of blood as he is thrown back and hits the ropes in the corner of the arena.
"ARGH-!" Esmond feels a lot of pain echoing through his body, especially in his head. His vision is still blurred, so he sees Arthur appear in front of him as a blur.
"N-n-no!" Esmond tries to flee, but Arthur holds his neck with a firm grip. "Why don't you just give up?"
"YOU SON OF B-!"
He tries to curse, but Arthur wraps his arm around his neck and pushes him against the ropes of the arena, forcing him towards his family's table.
"Look…" Arthur whispers in Esmond's ear from behind while his whole family looks at them with different expressions: the Viscount seems calm but can't hide the shock and disappointment in his gaze; Esmond's brothers are furious, but his sister has a special glow in her eyes, as do the Viscount's wives, including Esmond's mother.
"Do you see how your mother is peeking at us…" Arthur speaks in a teasing tone like a devil. "She doesn't seem devastated by the brutal way I'm treating her little boy… no-no… she seems… excited."
"NO!!!" Esmond tries to struggle to free himself from Arthur's grip.
But Arthur punches his ribs, causing waves of pain to echo through his body, and keeps him forced in that leaning position against the arena ropes.
"Look at her!" Arthur smiles as he whispers in Esmond's ear and maintains eye contact with his mother. "She looks like a bitch in heat… I bet she desires to be in your place right now so I could fuck her from behind like an animal…"
"YOU BAST-" Esmond tries to use all the strength he has left, but before he makes a move, Arthur punches his ribs again, making him moan in pain.
"You know I'm telling the truth…" Arthur holds Esmond by the hair, forcing him to see his mother's expression, a mix of fascination and excitement. 'WHY?!?!'
"Do you see, don't you?" Arthur laughs diabolically in Esmond's ear. "That's the difference between our mothers… mine would never look at you, an insect that she wouldn't even bother to crush under her feet…"
'DAMN!!!' Esmond feels a lot of pain all over his body, but the pain in his ego is much more torturous.
Arthur doesn't stop, forcing the poor man even more brutally against the resistant ropes of the arena while whispering just for him to hear. "Your mother, on the other hand… if I show my dick to her, she'll kneel down and suck… and then, beg for me to fuck her…"
'YOUUUU-' Esmond screams in his mind, but he can't fight against Arthur, so he swallows his pride and anger, using the rest of his forces to stretch his hand towards his father. "I… give up!!"
"Good boy," Arthur speaks aloud and then releases Esmond, who falls from the arena in front of his family's table.
None of his brothers and not even his own mother help him; they all keep their shocked gazes on Arthur, especially the Viscount, who strives to stay calm but can't hide the fury inside his eyes.
Arthur ignores those stupid nobles and looks at his mother, who is gazing at him with a proud smile now. They exchange glances, and she winks at him, making his smile even brighter.
